Hotel Strandvogtei

We've stayed at this place for only two nights but the experience was amazingly great! The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. The location itself is very quite and welcoming. The suite we've booked was extremly clean and prepared with love and detail. Also, the SPA area is absolutely designed in an relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is rich and offers a huge variety for any kind of taste. Overall, one of the best places I've been so far. Absolutely recommended!

A brilliant retreat not only for no-kids couples. We had been here as a family of four. A were absolutely thrilled. We ha a spacious house like appartment, fully equipped with Sauna grown up kitchen and various bathrooms. The village if Rantum is a smallish place at the narrowest part of the island. And this hotel is well connected to both coastlines. ... And there is a more than decent breakfast and coffee and cake in the afternoon to !

Wonderful quiet retreat on the island of Sylt. Hotel is beautifully designed and extremely well located - walking distance to east and west beaches, resturants, mini-mart and of course all biking trails. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Delicious and bountyful breakfast buffet. Exquite spa with indoor pool to relax after day at beach. Would absolutely recomend the hotel for families (with older children) and couples!

Typical "Sylt style" houses, very nice interior. ||Breakfast is a feast. The wellness area is super nice - could be a little bigger maybe.||The location is perfect, very close to the beach. Rantum is the most beautiful tiny town on the island. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Sylt. Just the breakfast buffet is worth the visit!

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach zauberhaft, ein wunderschönes Areal gesäumt von einer Hortensienpracht, hier findet man Ruhe und hat einen einmaligen Blick Richtung Watt. Das Team ist sehr herzlich, das Frühstück wunderbar (insbesondere, wenn man es draußen genießen kann). Die Zimmer sind großzügig, sehr sauber und hell. Der Service ist einmalig. Wir können dieses kleine Paradies nur empfehlen.

Einfach Urlaub! Völlig ab vom Alltagsstress kann man hier abschalten. Das gesamte Team liest einem die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Gastfreundschaft auf eine lockere Art. Ein grandioses Frühstück wartet, nachdem man schon seine Bahnen im Pool gezogen hat. Da wir mit Kindern dort waren, haben wir auch die private Zeit im Poolbereich genossen. Dort konnten die Kinder einfach springen, toben und Quatsch machen ohne andere zu stören.

Mein Traum war es schon immer, einmal in einem typischen Reetdachhaus auf Sylt Urlaub zu machen. Mit viel Ruhe, frischer Nordseeluft und einer familiären Atmosphäre. Als ich über Google die Strandvogtei entdeckt habe, wusste ich: ich hab meinen happy place gefunden! Das erste Mal war ich von Ende März bis Anfang April dort. Ich wurde sehr herzlich von Frau Funke und Frau Clarenbach empfangen. Gebucht hatte ich ein DZ, aber zu meiner großen Überraschung erhielt ich ein Upgrade auf die Vogtei-Suite! Ich konnte es kaum glauben, die Suite war unfassbar schön und ich hatte sogar eine eigene Terrasse mit Blick auf das Wattenmeer. Jeden Morgen habe ich dort meinen ersten Kaffee getrunken und mir den Sonnenaufgang angesehen. Unbezahlbar! Das Frühstück im sehr gemütlichen Frühstücksraum war sehr lecker, reichhaltig und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Und auch der Service war unglaublich freundlich. Nachmittags gab es immer Kaffee und Kuchen, den man im Strandkorb auf der Terrasse genießen konnte. Die Strandvogtei ist sehr ruhig und direkt am Wattenmeer gelegen. Hier kommt man so richtig runter vom stressigen Alltag! Auch der Wellnessbereich ist ein Traum, man kann diesen sogar für 1 Stunde am Tag privat buchen (im Preis inkludiert). Und da es so schön war, war ich im Mai gleich nochmal da. Dieses Mal in einem Appartement zur Wattseite. Ebenfalls ein Traum, auch hier habe ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt! Ich hoffe, dass ich nächstes Jahr wieder kommen kann. Die Strandvogtei ist wirklich ein Sehnsuchtsort für mich geworden.
