It’s been a while since my last trip to KL, and I was looking forward to a relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a nice and relatively quiet area. The surroundings are not too crowded, and you can even see the KLCC from the street outside, which is a pleasant bonus. The parking system is a bit unique—it uses a car lift, and guests are required to pay RM10 for staff assistance to park the car. While this may be convenient for some, it might not suit everyone’s preferences. The room was clean, but I found the sink placement (outside the bathroom) to be a bit inconvenient, as water tended to splash and get the surrounding area quite wet. The working table came with a very basic chair, which felt a little underwhelming for a hotel of this standard.Housekeeping is managed by foreign staff. My mother, who doesn’t speak English, tried to request a towel in the morning. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding, and the staff thought she was opting out of room cleaning for the day. As a result, when we returned to the room at 11pm, we were surprised to find it had not been cleaned.I contacted the operator to clarify, but he only spoke English and couldn’t understand my question in Malay. He explained that guests must inform the operator daily if they would like their rooms cleaned. This was quite surprising to me, as I’ve never stayed in a 5-star hotel that requires such a daily request for housekeeping.Overall, while the location is good and the hotel has potential, the service and communication process could be improved. It was not the experience I was expecting from a 5-star hotel.
