This is actually a 3 star hotel, not 5 star. The facilities are very simple, only a small pool and gym. Considering their price is more expensive than Sheraton (a true 5 star hotel), their room is overpriced. The decor is cheap, not luxurious and the breakfast was awful and boring. The rooftop pool is very small, it’s only nice for the view. The gym basically only has treadmills. The front desk service is good and check in/check out was fast. The housekeeping could be better. They expect me to tell them exactly what to do and what amenities to replenish. I wish they would just know their job without depending on me for instruction. My room was not cleaned daily, so I had to stay with a full garbage bin for 3 days. The foreign staff need to improve their English. The food was also not good and lacks variety. It’s better to eat outside. Although, my stay was comfortable but I don’t feel it’s value for money.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Kuala LumpurI recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was nice, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for our stay.The hotel offers valet parking for RM10, which was convenient, especially given the location right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. We had easy access to local attractions and the bustling city vibe.One of the highlights was the beautiful swimming pool, where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the KL Tower. It was such a relaxing spot to unwind. The amenities were top-notch, and we really appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a slice of cake from the hotel to celebrate my sister’s birthday.The only downside was that, at night, we could hear some noise from the nearby bar, but it wasn’t too disruptive for us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur!

I stayed at Stripes for 5 nights. At check-in I was impressed with how kind & efficient staff was, especially after traveling for 24 hours. The room was super clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. I ate lunch at Brassiere 25 a few times and breakfast every morning. The food was excellent; fresh & prepared as requested. However, being greeted and served by Shahadat was a whole other level of excellence. He was extremely hard working and seemed to remember my special request (steamed soy milk) along with those of other guests. He worked the busy breakfast room and was amazing. Another star employee is Naveed who is always at the door with a pleasant greeting and willing to provide assistance. During my stay, he was able to help me various times, while also juggling the needs of other guests. This outstanding hotel, outstanding staff and the two notable star employees made for a fantastically perfect experience.

We stay in February 2025 in an Executive Deluxe Room. Read few comments that the room does not have a fridge. It is actually hidden in the full mirror column. I called reception to ask and was told the long mirror opens up. Room is clean and comfortable. Do take note the shower can been seen from the bedroom as it is only frosted glass with no blinds. Sink is located outside the toilet. Service from the staff is top notch, warm and friendly. Spectacular views from the roof top pool. FnB is not this hotel's strong point. Lots of alternative dining options around hotel.

After staying first time in this hotel I came back again in 2 weeks and now it’s my fav hotel in KL.The location is good, 20 min by foot to Petronas but still quite. Room is spacious, with a sitting area next to the window, very comfy bed and good shower. Room has very nice and stylish design. The breakfast is fine with a choice of Malaysian and European food. I love this hotel and will definitely stay again once I m back to KL.
