Hotel Stücki

One of the best hotel experiences with the kids in Europe so far. The hotel was very clean and high tech from electronic shades to fold up beds (lighting, shower stall, electronics, AC/Heating, etc...), this hotel has everything covered. The breakfast area was very well stocked and great. We'd gladly stay here again, over and over. :) The stay came with some mobility passes for the trams, wish we knew about that before checking in, but it was a great extra.

We spent a night in a family room in the Stücki hotel. Room was divided in two parts. One for the parents and one for the children. One big bed and three little ones (still big enough for an adult to sleep there just in case). Near the entrance, there is a safe, if you have something to secure. Next to it, there is fresh mineral water in a little fridge. It was very welcomed since it was the summer and it was pretty hot outside. If you wish, there is an electric kettle as well as some coffees, teas, sugar, etc... I'd have love an espresso machine here (it'd have been the cherry on top..!). The shower is pretty nice and clean. Shower products and soap and very pleasant. Beds were pretty comfortable and we slept very well, despite the noise coming from the street below... The breakfast was just awesome. What you could expect from a 4 stars hotel, but in a 3 stars one! Staff was very nice, friendly, always eager to help and also concerned about our wellness. Since the kids don't eat as long as the adults, they even got a corner with some big cushions and toys to chill... 👍 If you're a coffee junky, you can find an expresso machine in the reception and have as much as you wish! Thanks to the Stücki staff.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice hotel, a bit out of the center but very very nice with modern amenities. Free coffee downstairs and rain showers in the rooms. Late check-out requires a fee so be on time leaving...we even had someone knock on the door at 11:53…

An absolutely amazing hotel!! I play cricket in Switzerland and whenever I go up to Basel for a tournament we always stay at the Stücki. Very clean and quite rooms, and a pretty good buffet breakfast. I can’t wait until my next stay!!

Very nice service but restaurant is separate and is delivered from the nearby grillhouse in the shopping-center. Breakfast is lacking if continental or American-style is your preference. Rooms have high standards and temperature is controllable.

Very professional staff, breakfast and lunch are of excellent quality. Rooms are spacious and the meeting facilities are extremely well equipped with audio and video capabilities. Would be happy to go back there again.

Nice location if you are on vacation. Little far from the city center but connectivity is great. Spacious, clean rooms with great staff to take care of your stay. Very quick service.

I was a bit relucatant to book a 3 star hotel that belongs to a small chain and has no frequent flyer program associated with it, but this hesitancy turned to a great experience of one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. The hotel wrote to me before arrival since I had 2 different booking and I answered them with a request for a specific type of room, upon my arrival Thomas, the front desk staff was great and responded to every request of mine within minutes. The hotel is modern and well located with plenty of public transport connections with a free basel card. The room is excellent, quite, very comfortable bed and great shower, cooling system, safe, smart TV, and even free still and sparkling water! Which is amazing. Breakfast is one of the best with hot and very swiss products. Service was great. This is one of few hotels that offer guests free coffee, juices and water in the lobby anytime! The front desk staffi are always pleasant and smiling. There is one if the best steakhouses attached to the hotel and you get special menu and a discount. A mall with a good supermarket for the best swiss products is also next to the hotel. Thank you to the great hospitality and I wish to see more of Stucki elsewhere in the world!
