Being a Digital nomad for the past 3 years I take writing reviews seriously since I rely on reviews when researching the next place I will be staying. This village and this Hotel were just Fantastic. Location was perfect. Right in the middle of the village and walkable to the stores (food and shopping) cafe and restaurants, to and from the train station and even any of the trails that you would want to walk on. Service was Marvelous and Charming. From the time we arrived to the time we checked out the Care takers and staff were Amazing, Sweet and Kind. The rooms were big enough for 2 people for 4 days(even had a small table to do work at when needed). Bathroom was of nice size as well. The Wifi was reliable and fast, even when I had to use my VPN it still worked pretty fast (Some places we stayed fast internet till the VPN was turned on then not so fast). There was plenty of areas to work, read, or just enjoy the Amazing views the village has to offer. They also had free breakfast every morning we were there. I do not eat breakfast, but it looked Fresh and of really good quality every morning. Over all, for the 4 days we stayed while we were at a Tai Chi retreat this place met all of our expectations. They deserve every work and star that we gave them. A village worth visiting and a Hotel worth the stay. Compared to other places and the prices they are worth it.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay on our ski Safari. We arrived on our skis and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the cable car. Greeted by a super friendly receptionists who explained everything. We were pleasantly surprised by the afternoon tea that we were not expecting. Spacious ski room and boot dryer. Rooms were very comfortable, hot shower, hair drier, lots of hooks and beautiful view of the Dents du midi. There is no restaurant for diner so we ate at Cafe du Nord on the main street. Good selection at the buffet breakfast. I am sure we'll be back!

Very nice hotel! Commfortable beds, a bathtub, and a place to work. We even had a balcony we could step out on to admire the view. It is in the center of the village and walkable to everything. The price was reasonable and they even included breakfast. The only thing I wished they had was a kettle for tea in the room. Either way, we highly recommmend.

We loved everything about this absolute gem of a hotel…. So much history, very cosy décor, good location, amazing complimentary afternoon tea, very good buffet breakfast… But above all the lovely, kind and helpful Camillia Berra and the rest of the friendly Hotel Suisse team. Camillia greeted us with the warmest welcome and helped us twice with fixing ski equipment glitches… so friendly & really went out of their way to help. |Hotel Suisse will definitely be our first for our next visit to Champery. Merci Camillia & Hotel Suisse.

It is a family owned place, and then make you feel like you are part of the family.||Very warm people that always go the extra mile to help for any reason.||The location is so beautiful with a nice view on the mountains. Parking is easy and even has charging stations.||Very clean also.

I shared a very small twin room - number 101. It’s only just big enough to walk around the bed. The bed was very comfortable and the plug beside the bed very handy. We only had 1 pillow each but more were quickly delivered to the room once we had asked. Clothes storage was limited with no drawers and only 6 hangers between 2 of us. |There was a nice shower over the bath and no shortage of hot water, though the window and outside wall underneath it were constantly covered in condensation which ran across the bathroom floor towards the door and made the toilet roll wet if we left it on the wall mounted holder.|The room was warm enough, but we struggled to get the radiator hot enough to dry our towels each day.|This room is right at the top of the stairs so very handy if you forget anything, but right above the bar and its speakers which was quite loud on a couple of evenings.|Breakfast each morning was very tasty with a small cooked selection (sausages, crispy bacon and scrambled egg) as well as the usual continental selection. Afternoon tea which is served at 4pm was a real treat with a different variety of cakes on offer each day along with tea and coffee. |The ski/boot room which opens directly onto the car park is a good size and very handy.|The bar is very popular with locals and reasonably priced (CHF 6 for a glass of house red).|The staff in this hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful.

The building and rooms are a 3* hotel, but the service deserves 5*. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The bar was one of the other highlights - it was lively and another group played the piano while singing. It was the perfect way to start a trip. The room we got had a beautiful view of the mountains. They are small, but they're sufficient if you plan on mainly skiing and going out. It's an 8m walk from either station, and the lifts - so be prepared to carry your skis!
