The staff was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were a bit old and worn out, though. The beds were comfy, but the bathroom was tiny and the shower was moldy. Other than that, it was a good place to stay. The location was good.

The location is the best, in the middle of the city and the price is fine. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. But, we found ants and insects on the bed and the bathroom pipes and the air conditioner were really loud

It was in the city center , with everything we needed, warm shower and clean room:

The location is simply perfect and the price is the best one you can find in that area that's for sure. Some people complain about the noise, but as earplug users at night, we did not experience any issues with that. As for the bathroom, yes, it js small and pretty noisy, but that is because it is a very old building (with lots of character) and the bathrooms had to be integrated into each room. Plus, it only makes noise when water is in use. The bed was comfy, even though it was two beds put together. The receptionist was very helpful as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back to this hotel!

As you arrive at the Hotel Suisse , you enter the world of an Agatha Christie novel. The palazzo is a listed building from the late 19th century and the lift to the third floor is full of charm. One of the most intriguing things is sharing the lift with one of the residents of this charming palazzo, who live above the hotel. ||Once at reception, the welcoming staff will introduce you to your peaceful room with high ceilings and unusually presented modern additions. ||Each member of staff has a unique personality, and ťhey all strive to give you an enjoyable experience. ||We felt very much at home and our 2 night stay went by very quickly. The area surrounding the Hotel has plenty of charming palaces to see, great food and lovely piazzas where one can sit and admire the scenery.

Very affordable, clean and neat place. The staff was very kind, helpful and easy - going. The room was old - fashioned, but everything worked perfectly and the atmosphere of an old building was truly amazing. Would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone visiting Genoa. PS. The location is 10 out of 10, the very centre of Genoa.

Found this hotel by accident, and were very happy with our stay. Riding up to the third floor in the little elevator was fun. The room was big, breakfast was delivered to the room, and the hostess even walked with us down to the parkade to show us where to leave the car! Also, we were treated to some special Genovese delicacies which we thoroughly enjoyed. Service was very friendly and we felt welcome.

This is without a doubt one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. Where do I even start?? The rooms are old and dirty, and they have just installed a bathroom in the corner of the room that I can only imagine they bought from IKEA. The bathroom is also very dirty and when you use water, it makes a horrifying noise. There is a portable AC in the room but the only thing it does is to make a deafening noise even at the lowest setting, and definitely does not cool the room. I think I got about 2 hours of sleep during the night thanks to the heat and/or noise. The reception is only open until 1pm and then from 3pm to 9pm. So, if you want to leave your luggage there, you risk not being able to retrieve it as there is no one to let you in. The staff is very rude and unaccommodating, and we had to communicate through Google translate with one of the ladies as she spoke zero English. Avoid at absolutely all cost. It is definitely worth paying a little bit extra to go somewhere else where you can actually get some sleep and not feel like you are staying in a large garbage container (which admittedly could have been more comfortable).
