We stayed in Room 105. The front desk staff were kind and did their best to make us feel welcome, but unfortunately several issues kept the stay from being truly comfortable.||For 3 out of 5 nights there was a strange smell in the master bedroom, something between cigar smoke and burning plastic. On our last night, a fire alarm went off at 2 a.m. in the apartment below, which made us suspect faulty wiring — and it left us wondering what exactly we had been breathing in during those nights.||That final night, we couldn’t even use the bedroom and had to sleep on the pullout sofa, which was very uncomfortable and which we had to set up ourselves.||Cleaning service was minimal, basically just emptying bins and replacing towels, but not really refreshing the room.||Noise insulation was weak, with sound carrying easily from the hallway and from the room above.||Overall, the staff tried hard and we appreciated their courtesy, but the stay ended up being more stressful than relaxing.
