Loved the kind of spiritual art works and signage throughout the building. Had a nice feeling to it. Rooftop area was wonderful! Lots of loungers and some shaded areas. Pool was small but good for a dip. Coffee shop right below hotel for morning coffee, no coffee maker in room. Standard Room was quite small. Had a small balcony but it was street side and very loud, had to keep patio door closed. During this stay there was the old stinky drain type smell going on, not pleasant. Overall a good stay and likely would stay again.

Very disappointing experience at this minimal facility hotel. Staff friendly and helpful to come extent, but the pool was closed for 3 days from the first full day of my stay and no one told me when I checked in about this and no notices displayed. I was given a towel in the morning for the pool but it was closed. There were maintenance men cleaning the terrace and as I spoke intermediate Spanish, they told me it was closed three days for maintenance. I asked if there was a problem, but they said no, its always closed at this time of the year, before the tourists arrive (school holidays).|I returned the towel and reception said it was because of a leak with the pool, but this contradicted what I'd been told. There were no closure notices, until one appeared at the reception desk whilst I waited to speak to the manager about a refund, as I had to move to another hotel , as it lacked any alternative facilities, very hot, and my air conditioned room didn't have a chair. ||When waiting to speak to the manager, they booked in new family customers but didn't tell them about the pool closure, so I told them, and they wanted to cancel and go elsewhere, but they were fobbed off.||Note!! on their website they say the room is suitable for disabled as one level, but it had stone steps up to the basic bathroom.||They tried to fob me off with a credit (no good as I won't go back to that hotel). They said booking.com will refund me as they have my money. An untruth.|Back home, Booking.com got them to make a refund but only for 2 nights and I asked for the 3 remaining nights. They then agreed, and as they don't use PayPal, I had to send my full bank details (I have a little used account so low risk, and they confirmed this was accepted by their accounts dept).to make a refund as I hadn't paid on the booking.com portal, but at the hotel. ||They have failed to give a refund of any kind and now three months later, despite booking.com phoning them and being fobbed off, and no response to their emails any more, to me or booking.com, it is evident that the hotel have reneaged on their promise to refund my money.|I will keep asking booking.com to resolve this matter, but they won't put an ultimatum to the hotel. And now the hotel have my bank details!||Do not go to this hotel or book via booking.com because they have few facilities, (when the pool and terrace are closed), which is ok if you only need it as a basic base (free breakfast is poor), they have no ability to put pressure on the hotel to make this refund. If I use booking.com again, I will pay via them and not at the hotel, as if you pay at the hotel, booking.com won't refund you when there is an agreement with the hotel to do so.

This is a fantastic place for the price you pay. I'll definitely stay there again. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool was relaxing and a great place to hang out. The sitting area on the ground floor was great with its fountain, plants and birds. I enjoyed my coffee there every morning. Some people have complained of the traffic noise but the hotel is beside the main road so it's not really their fault. I adapted to the noise and it was never an issue for me. Highly recommend.

Overall, a solid experience, more like a 4.5/5. Think most of the rooms are not towards the busy road, so I think what tipped the scale towards 4/5 for us was that we had a room on the first floor towards the road, and there was a streetlight just outside our bedroom Windows with not light proof blinds. Otherwise, spacious, clean, comfortable and nice rooftop pool

The apartment rooms were perfect. However, the free breakfast could use a little bit of work.

Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. The room was small. Had no refrigerator or water to drink. The tv was broken as well as the toilet often didn't flush. No toiletries were provided. The beds were extremely hard and had no blankets. There was also no towels in the room. When I told the front desk that I was wanting to check out early because of these issues he said I should have told him and they could send someone to replace the toilet. We did ask multiple times for blankets and towels. When given then finally they were thin and old. Lastly the breakfast isn't good. It's at a restaurant a block away. You can choose chilaquiles or from a couple of different Mexican style omelets. It was not a comfortable stay. Sadly the hotel itself in beautiful but the quality of care isn't there.

We had an apartment and it was huge. Very clean, friendly staff. Bed is hard as a rock, and No blankets provided. Disappointed kitchen didn't provide dishsoap, tea towels or drinking water. Rooftop pool delightful and quiet. Only a block way from beach, walking distance to several restaurants. Cafe Roma across street has great live band, loud music and many Canadians go there.

The property looked cute at first, nice courtyard, decorations, white and blue colour scheme. However, we did not enjoy our stay there. The bathroom didn't have any shampoo, shower gel, towels or hairdryer, and the tap was leaking and making noise 24/7. There was no blanket on the bed either (even though it's winter time and the nights get a bit chilly), the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and gave me a neck pain. The single pane window let all the noise from the street in, so this, coupled with really bad pillows and no blanket, ensured that a restful sleep was out of question. The wifi was really patchy, coming on and off all the time, which was really annoying. They also wanted to take a security deposit in cash, which is a practice I haven't seen in years, if not a decade, and we do travel a lot. So, overall, we do not recommend this hotel.
