This hotel should be avoided. The room doesn't have a terrace, some rooms only have a small window that is high, so you can't even look through it. The rooms are dark and damp. Other rooms have a window with a view of the trash that has been there for years, obviously. Towels cannot be dried in room like that. There is a terrible apartment building across the room, so you can see how people live and what they do. We didn't have Wi-Fi at all, and the air conditioner and elevator often broke down. The food is monotonous and tasteless, and the kitchen staff is unfriendly. For dinner, they will not serve you a glass of water if you need it, just because it is not intended for dinner. The bedspreads are old and stained. This hotel ruined my trip. Only the maids did their job well and you have a ten minute walk to the beach.

I am not sure what these bad reviews are about. They got me a bit worried about staying here but in the end this was a decent hotel. Hotel room was normal size and clean. beds are very basic but still OK comfortable swimming pool was not bad either. We did have breakfast but overall the stay was better than expected

Very bad hotel. Really bad. Management provides terrible services. Be aware if you are complaining that AC not working or doors are not opening, they will say - live the hotel. The same did with me daughter of owner Sonia. Very bad impression from this place

My sister and I recently came back from a weeks holiday in this hotel. We couldn't believe how bad it was. On arrival we were dropped of 1/4 mile from the hotel where we struggled down the steep slopes with our luggage. When we checked into our room we were shocked it was filthy and the view from the balcony was a solid brick wall and a motorbike parking area. We complained and was given a 2nd room where it was just as bad, we complained an was told if we didn't like it to move out. ||Roof top terrace had no parasols with no shade at all, very small pool room for 8 sunloungers. Breakfast in a very dinghy room which seated about 30 people. For any meals we had to go to the sister hotel up a steep bank- the staff were rude and unhelpful. Sunshine park and nowhere to relax, all it had was a reception and a small snack at which was never open. Most terrible holiday experience we have ever had! Absolutely disgusted this was the worst- such a disaster!!!

As soon as we arrived in Lloret de Mar, we had to carry our luggages some 300 metres down to the hotel, as the coach couldn't park opposite the hotel, as it is situated in a narrow road where only small vehicles pass. We couldn't communicate with some of the receptionists as they couldn't speak English. The next morning we were told to go and have breakfast in a nearby hotel. Our room was equipped with 2 single beds instead of a double bed, with 1 single flat pillow on each bed. Over our heads we had 2 lamps, with only 1 bulb working. There was a dressing table with no chair to sit on. We had no total privacy in our room as the balcony curtain was narrower than the width of the balcony window itself, let alone having 2 big stains on it.Our hotel and the building adjacent to it were only a mere 3 metres away from each other. The bathroom was not equipped with an extractor, no shower caps, no shampoo, no extra soap to wash our hands after using the toilet. The only liquid soap we had were 2 small sachets, and on one particular night after returning from a long day out, we found none. When I inquired about them at the reception desk, one of the receptionist was so arrogant that she told me I ought to buy them myself and then she brought out 6 sachets from underneath her desk and haughtily gave them to me. We also shared our bathroom with some ants : a truly disgusting accommodation. We highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

Visited this hotel 2 weeks ago and I've got to see it is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever been too.On arriving at reception after dragging our luggage about half a mile, got the impression they were not even expecting us.My sister and I were given our key and informed that they only do breakfast and that we had to walk up a hill to sister hotel for evening meal, even though it was advertised as breakfast and evening meal.I said I can't walk up there I'm just getting over a cancer operation, but they were not interested. The room was awful, dated and dirty and over looking a noisy road.Following morning we were shocked at the dingy little dining room.We asked to be moved to the sister hotel because we were there for a rest and there was nowhere in the hotel except by the tiny pool up on the roof, which incidentally only had 8 beds,we asked several times and was told NO if you don't like the room then leave. Which Infact we did.I would certainly not recommend this place to anyone it's more of a hostel than a hotel. It's dated dirty and rude staff. Avoid at all costs

I am writing of the Hotel Sunshine wich is represented by the Hotel Acapulco. well we arrived at the sunshine hotel about 20.30 but befor we got to the hotel we were stopped at the alcapulco hotel and walk with our luggage for about 300 mtrs when we got there we found a receptionist that does not speak english very well. Imagine' only one lift was available for 55 persons it took us ages to get to our rooms. When finaliy we got to our room , to our surprise, we found the balcony was so close to the adjacent building that either occupants of both rooms had a clear view of what was going on. To make matter worse we had no nylon curtains only a thick ones that we had to live them close all day and they did not reach side to side. We had no TV remote control ,so when we asked the receptionist she said they dont have any but she could give us some battereis , me and my sister looked at each we could not belive what she was on about. When we got to the bathroom, there was no bathmat, no sanitary towels and no soap. In the morning we were told that we could not have breakfast there but to go to Hotel Acapulco ,even for our dinner .This made everyone in our group very unhappy. I will definately not go there again nor recomm end it .

Probably the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Awful rooms, uncomfortable beds, dirty towels and bathroom, noisy, and they didn’t even have shampoo. Honestly terrible.
