Hotel Svea

A comfy hotel in a good location, close to the village and the beach. Excellent buffet breakfast. Had dinner in the restaurant in the hotel and can highly recommend it. The room was quite small, the bathroom even smaller, but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.

The room we got, sure need a makeover.|We like the hotel situated at font Seaside, but it old and need to be renovated.|The restaurant is cloesed sunday and monday. The bar is open but they have only a small bar-menue, very boring though. We went to another restaurant. I do not think we will return. All staff is very nice and helpful.

Rooms had broken wallpaper in them, very dirty walls and very tight space. If you have any movement issues be aware that the rooms are quite snugg. The service from staff was great and the breakfast was A+. At least repaint the rooms and it'll easily feel like a 4star stay.

The room might be a bit tacky and have a friendly spider, but the breakfast IS TO DIE FOR! Everything tastes fresh and they have so many choices! Honestly, I would come back just to eat breakfast there again. The staff is also super friendly and helpful, the hotel itself has amazing views, quiet nights and super comfy beds. Would definitely recommend!

Good rooms, slightly dated interior in the rooms. Its fresh and clean though. Service was good, breakfast decent and traditional. Missed some healthier options like wholemeal bread. Vegan options was rather limited. All in all a decent choice during low season.

Wonderful hotel with a good restaurant and bar. Plus a fantastic sauna. Most of all, incredibly friendly and good atmosphere.||I highly recommend this hotel and all its staff.||We enjoyed a few beers, and dinner. The rooms are well set up, with comfortable beds and excellent showers (hot with high pressure!)

We enjoyed the bar which unlike most alternatives this evening had attracted a few people. Two young ladies ran the bar with good focus, humour and smiles. An elegant Cranberry juice and a Cappuccino was our order, but now I k now they have a bar there that can be counted on, on anotherwise dull evening - the weather was really challenging and more like what is typical in October than July 1. Thank you fo displaying good spirits, Ladies! Nice guard holding his position there too! P.s all age groups present... Good Tv set - film with Meryl Streep was on

The location, just across the sea, makes this hotel a very nice choice for anyone visiting Simrishamn. This is a small town, so, everything is relatively close. There are plenty of restaurants in the area.||||Our room was simple, clean, a standard Best Western room. The bathroom was just OK, functional, it can use an update.||||Besides the location, the other feature that is highly recommended is the breakfast buffet. A lot of choice in a nice dinning room, with a view of the ocean.
