This is a charming, old-fashioned boutique hotel with delightful, attentive staff and large comfortable rooms. A.welcome respite from indistinguishable hotel chains. We arrived early, so our room was not ready, but we were welcomed with coffee and a croissant in a delightful courtyard off the hotel's dining room. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. The entire stay was a pleasure. And the location put us within easy walking distance of the main sights in Antwerp. In brief, we recommend it enthusiastically.

We spent four nights at Hotel ’t Sandt in Antwerp and loved every moment of our stay. The location is fantastic—just steps from the city square—yet the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet. Our room was unique, very comfortable, and offered a perfect place to rest after exploring the city.|Breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of fresh, delicious options. A special mention goes to the lovely lady working over the weekend—you could tell she truly loved what she was doing, and her warmth and care made breakfast feel extra special.|In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge with our friends, sipping wine and playing cards. It was the perfect way to unwind after busy days in Antwerp.|Overall, Hotel ’t Sandt combines charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality—we would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

15/10 highly recommend. My husband and I wanted a hotel that was well located to use as a home base for the week we were spending in Antwerp. This hotel was that and SO MUCH MORE! First I must really comment on the staff - literally everyone was so pleasant and hospitable. But we really enjoyed all interactions with Renske, Evelin, and Stef. Need dinner suggestions or reservations, front desk happy to help. Need directions to take the tram to the train station to day trip to Brussels, front desk happy to highlight a map for you. Need an after dinner drink when your feet are to tired to walk another step, front desk happy to mix you a lovely gin and tonic or other drink from their menu. ||My husband enjoyed his runs along the river in the morning, even venturing through the pedestrian tunnels under the river to the other side. I enjoyed hot tea in tea pots before bed and coffee on demand at the coffee station. ||We stayed in the cathedral room. It was very large and the bed was comfy. There is a seating arrangement with a tv. We were able to watch the F1 race in comfort. Bathroom and shower were modern and bright. ||Breakfast in the morning - fabulous. I’m not sure how anyone could complain. They had pastries for those with a sweet tooth, meat and cheese, soft boiled eggs, fruit yogurt with all the toppings and |one day there were cute smoothies. ||Definitely stay here. You will not regret it. It is a treasure of smiling comfort at a time where people normally can’t be bothered. Great job!!!

Well located, comfortable and elegant hotel. Delicious breakfast available in a beautiful outdoor courtyard. Staff were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel, as it enhanced our stay in Antwerp. We enjoyed walking by the nearby river and taking the old staircase and tunnel across the river, where you are provided with a panoramic view of the city.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 3 nights while touring Belgium. The location is in the old town of Antwerp. Our room was upgraded upon check-in to a suite on an upper floor. It was large. comfortable, quiet and clean. We did not drive so can't comment on parking. We did take a taxi which front desk readily set up for us upon departure.||Breakfast had many options available. It was refilled and kept clean. Coffee and tea were available all day. The hotel was walkable to many restaurants, cafes and museums.||The best was the staff at this hotel. They were warm and welcoming at all times. We highly recommend this hotel when visiting Antwerp.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel ‘T Sandt. It’s absolutely perfectly located in a brilliant area for dining, shopping, wandering, & walking to tourist spots. Great atmosphere & central pedestrian area for a solo traveller exploring Antwerp! There’s lovely little square around the corner which holds an antique market (I think once a week?). My room was very spacious; it could have done with a bit more light maybe via 1-2 floor lamps? - but appreciate it was an authentic-style room with great beams overhead! Lovely to get tea/coffee/treats anytime in the breakfast room, and the common areas are so nice. A bottle of water in the room would be an extra touch. Very squishy pillows - those who need something firmer can ask! Bathroom was huge & just in need of a towel rail. After getting the lift, there was a small extra set of steps in the corridor to go down to get to my room, so anyone with accessibility issues should flag their needs. The bedroom required a bin; also ideally a separate recycling bin either in the room or a common area would be a good addition. It was nice having coat stand and loveseat/armchair in the room. The hotel’s little internal courtyard was so pretty on a warm night. Breakfast was really pleasant & well stocked for a small hotel. Staff were friendly, in particular a very kind man (perhaps owner/manager?) who made up a sweet tea tray for me when I came down to get a herbal tea one evening. So kind - many thanks!

We had a lovely 4 nights here in the Cathedral Suite. It's in an incomparable location, easy walking distance to the awe inspiring cathedral with its Rubens works of art, and many other gastronomic and historical gems such as the Plantin Moretus museum just round the corner. A stroll over a bridge to RAS restaurant with its glorious terrace overlooking the river. Breakfasts were among the best I've had, sitting in a pretty little courtyard. Everyone who worked here was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks 🙏
