Our experience was awesome ! The rooms were kept clean , staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Location was perfect The only thing that we found was that the shower door did not keep water in room 305 . I would recommend some kind of strip across the open gap between the door and wall on the floor or put a full door in . Water should not run off the shower pan on to those nice vinyl floors it will ruin them . We put towels down but it still didn’t stop all the water

Hotel Taburiente - Stay from January 10-17, 2025 Rating: 2/5 My husband and I stayed at Hotel Taburiente, and unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations of a 4-star hotel. While the lobby gave the impression of a property that once had charm, the overall condition of the hotel was extremely disappointing and in desperate need of renovation. Condition of the Property: The furniture was outdated, the hallway carpets were stained, and there was visible damage to walls throughout the hotel. The lack of maintenance was disheartening and unacceptable for the star rating. I also took photos to document these issues. Our Room Experience: • Bed Arrangement: The room featured two single beds pushed together as a double bed, which was far from ideal or comfortable. No view! • Bathroom Issues: The bathroom sink was scratched, the counter had peeling water damage, and there was no ventilation when the light was turned on. The trash can was broken and had to be kept open manually. • Housekeeping: Only one small bar of soap was provided, and even after requesting more, it was not replenished the next day. I had to visit the front desk to request additional soap. • Other Concerns: The shower was outdated, and there were no extra sheets or pillows for the pullout sofa for our third guest. Again, I had to go to the front desk to resolve this. The television was very small and outdated (not a major issue but worth noting), the mini-fridge was dirty and moldy outdated, and the room lacked a full-length mirror. Customer Service and Communication: Before our arrival, I emailed the hotel to request something special for my husband’s birthday. Sadly, I never received a response, nor did we feel acknowledged during our stay. The communication was lacking both before and during our visit. Final Thoughts: While the location and initial impressions of the lobby were positive, the condition of the rooms and the overall service did not meet the standard expected of a 4-star property. Should be no more then $80 euros per night not €280! There are significant areas that need immediate attention to improve the guest experience.

The hotel is well situated opposite a beautiful park. Just outside the main town and access to buses and tram. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and the bathroom is very nice with all you need to shower. They even provide a toothbrush!! There is a mini fridge to keep things cool and a FREE safe! Wife is good. The breakfast is excellent with options of hot and cold foods. The roof top pool is a pleasant area with exceptional views over Santa Cruz. The only down side which was no problem for us was no view out of the window as it looks into an enclosed light well. If you are going on holiday to stay in your room or you want a balcony to sit on then this is probably not for you. If you are coming to make the most of this amazing town and want to explore all it has to offer then it’s ideal!!!!! There is a lovely cafe/drinks bar a few minutes walk called sQina for a last drink before bed (closes about 11pm) great burgers and drinks at very reasonable prices

The hotel common areas are very nice and there is a nice cafe. Our room (101) was spacious but had a window to a light well which provided no light at all during the day. It was hard to know if it was bright or dark outside when in the room. Avoid this room and others facing this shaft of darkness.

My husband and I spent the Christmas week at hotel Taburiente. We had booked a junior suite (room 230). The long curtains on the picture were misleading as it let us believe that there was a large window. Reality is that it was a small window with no outdoors view at all. The window was facing a small open space that could have been a chimney in the past. There were around 7 windows facing the same “view” and we could have talked with a normal voice to someone on the opposite side if they had opened their window at the same time as us. It is difficult to believe that you can rent a junior suite without even being able to see what the weather is. Breakfast was fine, but the food area was much too small for the breakfast crowd. ||On the positive side, the hotel is modern and the staff is very nice. The location is ideal as there were many restaurants at a walking distance and the park next to the hotel is great. We had bought a public transportation pass for the week, which we highly recommend as it allows you to go around the island very effectively.

Great location and really nice common areas. Very good breakfast buffet options. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Good AC too. Staff are friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night while passing through by bicycle but would stay again and recommend.

Great hotel, walking in gives you the impression of luxury. Lobby is spacious with many different areas either for relaxing, working or watching a match on the big screen. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a nice rooftop area with pool and very friendly staff. Recommended

Good experience, the hotel has a pool and jacuzzi on the terrace. The gym is on the terrace too, so you can see the sea, mountains and a beautiful park. Location is good if you want to visit the “real” city, their neighborhoods and local restaurants; however, is a bit far from the city center and the coach station. Overall, I will come back.

Yelp
The location is great, breakfast is good however the walls are very thin and both nights I stayed here I was woken up several times during late hours in the night by the housekeeping staff rolling carts around and closing doors.
