Hotel Tamariu

Clean hotel next to the beach. Breakfast was good. At the restaurant the Spanish dishes were great, but the burger was not so great.

A lovely few days at Hotel Tamariu which is perfectly located beachfront at this quaint cala. |Anna & Susan run this small,friendly, family hotel. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a lovely view of the sea and a great terrace with sunbeds. |Rooms are simple and the breakfast plentiful. What makes the hotel is the family that run it - nothing is too much trouble.

What a beautiful place to stay. We had a meal here.. really nice food and plenty to go round! We recommend this great place. Tacos were served with avocado and meats.. and followed by special ice cream and coffee.. a lovely experience! Thank you!

If you are looking for a hotel in Tamariu, you can't beat Hotel Hostalillo. I believe it is the only full service hotel in town. It is not a luxury property in any sense, but the rooms are clean and very adequate. It is located right on a nice, protected beach. It is very well maintained. The hotel is family friendly. Small children (in our case grandchildren) are welcome.||It has a nice restaurant and a great bar (and bartender) with a veranda overlooking the beach. The staff are super and very accommodating--daily providing us with nice towels and loaning us an beach umbrella for the beach. We bought inexpensive beach chairs and another umbrella at a nearby shop which we donated to the hotel's lending stock. It does not have on site parking. There is taxi service, at a price, from the Barcelona airport.||We have been several times and will return. The price/quality ratio is appropriate.

We come to this hotel regularly for a drink and a snack. All the staff are extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you, always a smile on their faces, and a friendly chat when they're not too busy. Beautiful aspect overlooking the bay of Tamariu

Isn't it wonderful when you stay at a place that exceeds your expectations. So it was when we stayed at this hotel. Firstly the bay is absolutely beautiful. Add to that a hotel right by the beach run by 2 delightful sisters, Anna and Susan. Nothing was a problem or was too much trouble either for them or their staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent and the breakfast was very good and geared to suit every taste. ||We live in a beautiful area on the Cote d'Azur, south of France, so are used to breathtaking views. But the views of Tamariu combined with such friendly people in the hotel made our stay special. We will certainly be back!!! Thank you Anna, Susan and your staff ;-) Donald

A great little hotel in a small town, just by the ocean. The most dog friendly hotel I've ever been too which was very much appreciated as we traveled with 2 large dogs.

Great seafront restuarant with gorgeous view of the beach and sea. Tamariu is generally expensive by Spanish standards and this was no exception. Great food though and a chocolate melt in the middle pudding to die for. Nice bar to drink in afterwards and wifi available to check emails if you have a laptop. Have not stayed in the hotel above but the staff in the bar and restaurant gave excellent service.

Excellent family-run restaurant and hotel. Nothing beats a table outside in summer in the evening. It is a touch pricey but the view and the service are more than worth it.
