HOTEL Tambohus Inn - By Limfjorden in Jutland

Tapas menu with wine. Plenty of food, very delicious! Overnight stay, nice rooms, could have been nice with some chromecast possibility on tv. Breakfast had plenty of variation - anyone would be pleased.

Nice small hotel with a great restaurant and service:-)|The area is nice and quiet and the view is nice as well.|The rooms are nicely decorated but the bathroom is not comfortable.|The restaurant is great for both dinner and breakfast.|Overall very nice experience.

Nice and Danish. Family run hotel nicely located directly near the water. Electric loading of car in stonethrow. Perfect breakfast. Tidy and spacious room. Calm old school lounge area with open fire. Good to start conquering the Lymfjord.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is on the fjord with a lovely outlook. The service was friendly, helpful and fun. The bed and pillows (strangely we have struggled to find good pillows in Denmark) were super comfy and there was a great playground for Miss 11 to run off some energy. ||We loved the restaurant. The fish was some of the best I’ve eaten (that’s high praise from an Australian) and hubby’s schnitzel was also very good. Miss 11 was happy too. ||We have circumnavigated Denmark 🇩🇰 and this was our favourite hotel.

We were here for the fish buffet, and oh my what a nice and well prepared variety of many different fish and shellfish and crabs, from the north sea and local fjord. This is very delicate and a must if you love fish. Theres also many other delicious menus for those who are not so keen on fish. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was spacious, on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel and overlooked grass and wooded area. Maybe the rooms in the newer annexe overlooking the water have a better view. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was in need of refurbishment. Usable but shabby. We had dinner in the restaurant on one night and it was fine - quite traditional style food. Well cooked and tasty. Breakfast was fine. In September it was quite quiet - we sat by the fire in the bar area one night and didn't see a soul. Location by the water was lovely - one morning the sun was out and we wandered around for quite a while enjoying the view.

Came back to Tambohus Kro Saturday June 24th. and stayed until Monday 26th. Originally, we planned to go to many other places, but asked for one last stay here before leaving Denmark this time. We had a wonderful week end here. Bad weather, but cosy hotel and polite service. At this hotel we slept like dogs and eat like kings. The hotel is nice and retracted from any kind of unwanted noise. Just calm lovely weather (bad or nice), quietness and lovely atmosphere. |Kitchen not to be forgotten. Best food ever. Fish or Cow. All good and prepared from bottom.|Had some lovely weal on Saturday. Tender, tasteful and with outstanding greavey. Fish buffet on Sunday. Best ever. They serve the buffet on Sundays and Wednesday through the season. |Asked for an extra night for our way back to Norway. Came. Got the best butter fried flat fish. Went to bed and are now longing to pay the bill absolutely satisfied. Thank you all at Tambohus Kro making this possible.

The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. There was a balcony with a sea view. Unfortunately, it was not very clean - there seemed to have been some spill-over from the gutter. I think that was an unfortunate oversight from the inn…
