Hotel Tandreas

Nice hotel with prime location & peaceful neighborhood. Staff was very nice & helpful. Food was also really good.

Very comfortable room, with balcony. TV, ensuite bathroom, hairdryer, shower, table chairs and desk. Warm room with a door to balcony and windows for ampel ventilation. The car park has limited covered space but has an additional few parking spaces externally. The staff were very friendly and helpful during the entire stay. The breakfast was very good with a choice of hot and cold food including cereals, fruits, meats, yoghurts, Actimel, cheese, pastries, conserves, coffee and tea, fruit juice and milk which was constantly tended to and was presented in a clean and hygienic way. The breakfast area was comfortable and the staff were respectful of peoples needs. Altogether a good hotel for work or leisure stays .

A lovely, personal hotel with friendly staff, very clean rooms and fabulous food. The buffet breakfast was ample and provided fresh, delicious food in the morning. The restaurant serves excellent, high quality meals in the evenings and there is a great bar too. Our room was quiet and well presented. Parking is available and the hotel is in a great location. This was our second trip to Giessen and our second stay at this hotel. Highly recommended!

Super location and very good staff. Delicious veg and non veg food.. a lot of food varieties..

I booked this for our family visiting. Overall, they enjoyed their visit, the staff were friendly enough, it was clean, and fairly well run.||||There is no central air or cooling which would be expected with a hotel of this calibre and cost...instead, opening the window prior to sleep was the only option and a room fan. Be aware it is on a busy corner.||||Also, it was difficult to source an electrical plug to multicharge phones, iPads, hearing aids, etc. It wouldn't be difficult to install these beside the bed like more modern hotels (necessities in 2018). A nudge for management.||||The food was plentiful and delicious but it was noticed that close to the 10am finish, a staff member was perhaps a little to diligent removing food for the late comers...maybe it is nice to be a bit more relaxed considering the quality of the hotel.||||Likely we would use this hotel again however we will look into the quality/moderness of some others in the area to compare.

Arrived fairly late after a very harrowing day. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Room was spotless and very comfortable, excellent breakfast. Only downside was limited parking facilities. Bar tender made amazing Mohitos and for me as a Welshman, to cap it all, they had Penderyn whiskey.

Excellent upscale restaurant (probably best food in town) with nice ambience. Great wine selection. Hotel rooms a bit old fashion some with very narrow subtle beds. I personably don't like the very thin pillows and the rather small blankets which either cover the feet or the chest but not both. Very friendly staff.

A very nice hotel with a decent breakfast and forthcoming staff. We enjoyed our short stay a lot. The garage is a bit small but it’s still manageable. There is no AC so we had to sleep with the balcony door open. That’s totally fine but the street in front of the hotel can be quite busy at night. Our bathroom looked at bit ... used. There was a lightbulb hanging halfway out of the wall and the power outlets were a bit dirty/outworn. I can’t wait to come back and try out the restaurant.
