Hotel Tanit Benidorm

Hotel brilliant, rooms large with good sized balcony and immaculate all round. Breakfast OK and catered very much for the Spanish. We were on the 4th floor road side and found it very noisy both day and night (all night) not the hotels fault but the vicinity of the hotel which may put us off from returning. Staff brilliant.

This is my second stay at the Tanit. As a solo lady traveller I wanted a hotel close to the old town where it’s less busy than the new town. Perfect location with the beach across the road. I only booked breakfast this time as dinner was a little lard for me 8-10pm as I am a diabetic & need to eat earlier.|For me breakfast was great, juices, yogurt, pastries, toast, fresh fruit, cheeses & hams. Cooked rather limited, fried eggs, bacon & frankfurter sausages. |Small restaurant but cosy & staff very friendly & helpful.|I booked a sea view room, which I would recommend. |Reasonable sized room with 2 single beds, plenty of wardrobe & drawer space. |My bathroom had a walk in shower but I know some have a bath with a shower over.|Maid service daily if you want it.|Balcony with table & 2 chairs.|I didn’t have any issues with noise from the restaurants & bars below.|Tv with 3 English channels if you want to watch.|2 lifts always in working order |Reception area always manned & very friendly staff.|Mainly Spanish people in the hotel but that wasn’t an issue at all |Perfect location for the old town, supermarket 1 minutes walk away, so many places to eat & drink nearby.|10 minutes walk into the new town.|Beautiful beach literally over the road, sunbed hire 6 euros a day, or you could buy a chair from one of the local shops which works out cheaper if you are there for a few weeks.|If you are looking for a small hotel in the old town I would recommend the Tanit. |I felt very safe & at ease as a single traveler.

Youngest waiter banged into my nan and spilled soup all over her while he was showing off. He scolded her and left a massive bruise the size of a tennis ball on her arm. He needs to be more careful and he’s very lucky it didn’t go any further.

Hotel was in a great location but was very loud some nights ...taxi rank right outside..beautiful beach right across the road..shops and restaurants literally on the doorstep..the hotel and rooms were very clean ..staff were friendly..I thought the only thing that let it down was the food..I found it discusting didn't cater for vegetarians...Nice holiday but wouldn't go back...

came back on Sunday 2nd of March having stayed for a week, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff go over and above with service, excellent location, will be going back, stayed on road side with a balcony, but never bothered by any noise, extremely clean and well looked after, made lots of use of the café bar in the front of Hotel, very reasonable prices, complete sun trap this time of year, would recommend.

Lovely hotel very near to the old town and harbour ,room adequate for a single room ,very clean and a spotless bathroom, The breakfast was very dood with plenty of choice, continental and English. I would certainly make a return visit.

Such a lovley hotel had the best stay .rooms absolutly spotless, food fantastic,staff very friendly and helpfull ,will go back and stay again.
