Hotel Tanzberg

This review is for the restaurant. We ate here on our first night in Mikulov and enjoyed it so much that we came again a few nights later! The food was very flavorful and the house wines were so bold and complex. We had both the Turold (white) and Maharal (red) and later drove to the Tanzberg Winery to purchase a few bottles to take home. The staff was very attentive and the ambiance was very clean and modern. I highly recommend coming here!

We stayed at the hotel and ate dinner at the restaurant, so this review is for both. Check in was very easy, staff is very kind and helpful and speaks perfect English. Our room was quite tiny, and it does not have air conditioning like it says here on Google maps. Room temperature reached 32C at the most. Everything is very clean in the room, and you get free filtered water (although the tap water is also ok, with a hint of chlorine). Restaurant was great, food is very good and the staff is super attentive. We would never sit around with empty glasses for too long. I'd recommend the restaurant at any time, the hotel only when the weather allows as it's too hot to sleep in otherwise.

We only ate lunch here so my review is based solely on that. Service was adequate, the food was OK but nothing special. Pouring a jar of supermarket sauce over a couple of small pieces of turkey is not fine dining and akin to something you expect to buy at a roadside imbiss in Germany. A bowl of soggy runner beans is also a poor side dish - the potatoes however were excellent.

A great small hotel, with very clean and comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was good. Bicycle storage was available.|It was very noisy at night as we had the windows open. There is no air conditioning and it was very warm during our 2 night stay.

Hotel Tanzberg in Mikulov offers a culinary experience with fresh and intriguing dishes. However, the timing between courses, like salads arriving after soups, could be improved. The sweet potato soup resembled pumpkin more than potato. While the recommended beef salad didn't meet expectations, the nut and cheese variant provided a refreshing option. The beer, although Pilsner-based, fell short of satisfaction. The hotel's exterior is captivating, and they offer one-hour free parking tickets upon request.

We didn't stay in hotel, but had 2 meals in the restaurant during a weekend in Mikulov. |We really loved the linguine, and the cheesecake was like heaven.|We had the Tanzberg Ryzlink Rýnský (dry)which was very tasty also. |Friendly waitresses, have to say it was a touch pricey but worth it, will visit again one day. ||Thanks.

Pleasant hotel in the historical centre of Mikulov. Very friendly staff. Welcome drink as a bonus. Efficiently equipped comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Room number 1 is quite noisy though - you can hear the toilet flushing in another room, water flowing through the pipes.

We visited restaurant and the wine was one of the best I’ve ever had! Sauvignon blanc! Steak was tender and everything even salad and the way how it was served was incredibly tasty!
