Hotel Täscherhof

It was great location. Located next to train station. Rooms are quite good but not any special things in. But there is nothing to do too much things in Tashe. Just go hotel in the evenings and take rest in the room. Better price when you compare the hotels in Zermatt.

A great place to stay for visiting Zermatt (if you cannot find something reasonable in Zermatt itself, which was the case for our family of 5). We had a great stay, the rooms were nice, no issues, right next to the train station. The breakfast was good. Dinners were good too.

Spent 1 night here. Just opposite train station to Zermatt & Gronegrat. Quiet. Newly fit out. Nice cosy room. Good heater. Nice balcony view. Good toilet with new fittings. Small Lift fit 2 people. My room is just 1 floor up, can take the stairs. Near resraurant, convenient stores & train station. Breakfast options buffet and ala carte. Good value. Nice touch putting 3D lighted Matterhorn on the bed headboard. I like👍😍🇨🇭.

Hotel Täscherhof is a fantastic choice for anyone planning to visit Zermatt. They offer parking for guests, which is convenient since you can't drive into Zermatt itself—no cars are allowed. We drove to the hotel and then took the train into Zermatt, which was not only less expensive but also enjoyable, as we didn't have to haul our luggage through the town. If we return to the area, we would definitely choose to stay here again. The breakfast was also delicious, providing a great start to our day!

The hotel is located just beside the train station. But, you will not hear any noise from the train. The room is also big and clean, and with a balcony.

Very friendly staff at reception, we also parked our car before checking in and went straight to Zermatt from the train station right next to the hotel, how convenient! The room is nice with a small balcony overlooking some mountains and is very quiet and calm. Much cheaper than living in Zermatt but is convenient enough to get to see the sunrise of Matterhorn by taking early train to Zermatt. Especially suitable for people travelling with a car since Zermatt doesn’t allow car in. Multiple supermarkets around to get fruits and drinks.

An excellent hotel in all respects. The location is right by train station to Zermatt. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Our room faced the train tracks and it was no problem. Breakfast is good. Staff is very friendly. We would recommend highly.

Clean, budget-friendly, beautiful and rustic Swiss hotel located at the exit of the Tasch train station! So convenient if you're going to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn or coming from another city. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We arrived early for check in but were limited on time and wanted to see the Matterhorn, so they offered to hold our bags up front for no charge and even put them in our room! We were able to spend the day in Zermatt not having to worry about our luggage--So nice!! The room had a great view of the mountains too. Great food in the restaurant as well- the price is high but you get huge portions compared to a lot of the restaurants we've been to in Switzerland. All around great place, highly recommend if you're traveling to the area for skiing or sightseeing!
