I stayed in this hostel for 4 days. I came because I was on this side and it wanted to see a lot of more sceneries going to climb a mountain and everything I wanted to do was on this side. I already rented a car so I knew where I was going. For $45 a night hey this this hostel was awesome & comfortable. It had hot water, air conditioner, a refrigerator, a dresser and a bed I enjoyed everything all of it. Trust me I needed an air conditioner after where I came from when there was no A.C.

The rooms were on the cosy side, and the bathroom was also quite small. Breakfast was basic, but the staff serving it were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area of San Salvador, with very few restaurants or shops nearby. You’ll need to take a taxi to reach the main attractions in town. There is a small pool, which is a nice way to cool off after a day out. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but next time I’d probably choose somewhere closer to the city centre.

If you're looking for the most desolate, unwelcoming, and underwhelming spot in El Salvador’s capital, look no further! This hotel seems to have strategically placed itself in a part of town so isolated, even the locals don’t bother showing up. If you enjoy long, lonely walks to nowhere and the eerie silence of an abandoned neighborhood, you’ll feel right at home here.Upon arrival, I was welcomed by being shoved into a *single* room the size of a closet, even though I specifically booked a double. But who needs space when you’re on vacation, right? Forget moving around comfortably—just stay perfectly still, and maybe you won’t notice how cramped it is. As for soundproofing? That’s a foreign concept here. I could practically hear the thoughts of my neighbors next door, not to mention every cough, sneeze, and snore. It’s as if the walls are made of paper, or possibly even thinner. And breakfast—ah, yes, the highlight. A culinary masterpiece of stale bread, a thin slice of butter, and some suspiciously sweet jam. Just enough to leave you wondering whether they’re trying to starve you or teach you a lesson in minimalism. In summary, if you enjoy poor service, claustrophobia, and terrible food, this is the place for you! Otherwise, save yourself the trauma and stay literally anywhere else.

This place actually has two buildings. One of the buildings has a nice little garden with a pool. The other one has a garden without a pool. Both are very pretty and a great place to relax. Rooms are clean and have good amenities.

Worst decision . From the beginning the host was not welcoming she was being impatient and talked in a bad way to us multiple times, there was no parking spots at all anywhere, the curtains are absolutely see through you can’t slept after 5:45 am (when the sun raises ) and from 8 am people right beside here started their work in their workshop , hammering and cutting something with chainsaw non stop it’s been 1 hour and it keeps going . This is insane terrible

Best bed I have ever slept in,plus the pillows were wonderful! Great wifi and safe are. Staff was helpfull and kind too. Only issue was it is over 1 hour walking from downtown. The ceilings are very low. The free breakfast was excellent too.

unfortunately I would call this maybe a one star hotel if that. the bathroom was not attached to the room like shown in pictures. also the bed only had a sheet. paint was peeling and it looks very outdated. The showers hot water did not work I might expect all of that if I paid 20 bucks but for $50 a night I would not expect that. I checked in yesterday evening and told them that I would be leaving in the morning early around 1 for the airport. I got up this morning and no one was around. I cannot find anyone to give the keys to and unlock the front door. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

After reading all the glowing reviews on this spot, we were HIGHLY disappointed in this hotel. We visited early December and were in ES for 2-weeks, part of that time in San Salvador and wanted to be close to them so we decided on this spot. Our initial impression was good; we met the owner and learned they have 2 properties just down the street from each other. She gave us recommendations on where we could eat after a late check in, so good. But after this, the lack of hospitality that we are accustomed to at basically every other place was non-existent here. The next day we had an early day out and realized we were only given 3 towels after paying for 4 people. We left so early (5 am) that we didn't have a chance to ask for the extra towel until we got back late (about 6 pm). The lady that was was at this hotel (I think the owner was at the newer hotel) was super stingy on the towels and complained that we were exchanged towels that were wet for new ones. Yes, our towels were wet; this is why we wanted new ones, plus the 4th towel that was missing. Anyways, after we basically had to beg for our towels and keep checking since we were hoping to shower and needed them, we noticed a gigantic roach at the top of the entryway to the kitchen... needless to say we did not eat the included breakfast at all (we had missed breakfast the first morning because again, we were out early before breakfast began). One of the worse things about this place was the terrible stench of cat urine in our room! When we first arrived, the room looked simple and smelled clean like bleach, which we liked. However, by nighttime we began getting a strong odor of cat urine... no, we did not bring pets! The smell was horrible and just got worse each day. For reference, we had the family room for 4 people in the back past the kitchen area (#7 or #9 I think?) If you take a risk or make the mistake of staying here and get this room, be careful with where you set your items on the floor, as some of our items reeked of the cat urine! Fortunately our next hotel had laundry service! We stayed for 3 nights (unfortunately we had busy days and no time to research/relocate to another spot!) and were so happy when it was time to leave! Maybe other rooms are better but we would definitely not recommend this place and will not return!
