A beautiful hotel set in the back streets of Rome. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly. I only wish I had a better view. The hotel is in a very busy location, even in the evenings. So, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone wanting a quiet location. Aside from that, it is perfectly located for exploring all the incredible sights in Rome and is just a 5 minute walk from the Terrazza Borromini rooftop bar with stunning panoramic views of Rome.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. For the first time I traveled alone to Rome. The hotel “its Rome”. Old but well maintained. Well done cleaning. Breakfast Italian style. Well located, walked to all the sights I would like to visit . Staff always very friendly. Quiet because it isn’t on the main street. There is a water fountain to fill the water bottle in front of the hotel. And also two great Italian restaurants in front of the entrance door. The shower has a small space, making it difficult to you if you are extra large person. There is no elevator. If you do not want to carry your bags, I don’t recommend this hotel, because the two floors are hard to carry and difficult to climb. I liked it and would come again for sure. Thanks for all

Amazing! Fantastic value for money (in Rome, where accommodation in general is $$$). It’s a 16th century building, so a modern, pristine hotel it is not. But the rooms have character and charm, the beds are comfy and the linens are clean and crisp. The staff were super-friendly and the location in Centro Storico is second to none. You’re surrounded by cobblestone streets filled with patios, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Would definitely stay here again. Tip: The first-floor rooms are a little small and cavernous — ask for the 2nd floor or above if you can.

I absolutely loved the location and hospitality! The reception are very accommodating with all the family needs. Doesn’t have the elevator but worth the steps since it’s easy to walk to almost all the big touristic places from here. Also loved the neighborhood very vibrant and the hotel yet quiet since it’s in a quiet street.

Checked out today and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Teatro Pace. The staff were kind and speak great English. We had a double room — the bed is slightly larger than a queen and slightly smaller than a king. Very comfortable with additional pillows and blankets in the closet. The room was small but very well laid out with space for everything you may need. The bathroom was clean and had space to get ready in. My only complaint is that the shower is small but otherwise everything worked well. The ceilings in our room were probably twenty feet tall which made the size of the room a non issue- it felt huge to be honest. We had an interior room which looked over a small courtyard. The room was very quiet as the hotel is tucked away off a small side street. The location was phenomenal and the hotel itself was very beautiful. The central staircase is a large oval staircase and is quite stunning. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to all the best sites in Rome by walking or by public transport, both of which were easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend you staying here.

perfect place situated close to Piazza Navona. Very central you can do all activities by walking. Multitude of restaurants and cafe close by. The place is pretty quite considering where it is situated, the room are of reasonable sizes. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage’s up the stairs:-)

Despote the name, Hotel Teatro Pace is not really a proper, classic hotel and it is more similar the new facilities that occupy Rome's historical centre: rooms carved out of old buildings. The "reception" is a tiny corner at the entrance and it does not cover 24 hours. The rooms are quite tired and in urgent need of m maintenance (wooden floors need varnish). The absence of a lift can be a problem if your room is at thew third floor (lime ours). In general, I think the photos over sell the property. I also made the mistake of booking through a website called Guests Reservations, realising only later that it was not the hotel reservations, but an US web site that overcharged me. My fault, but be careful when you book. The room was left with no hot water at 9,30am, and even if the problem was fixed in 15-20 minutes, there was no acknowledgement that ... it was a problem. Basically, despite its "old" look, it is a very "new" touristy facility that looks like one of the many love-less airbnbs. Also I'm not so sure about the cost/value ration. Nothing dramatic, and been in "centro storico" in Rome has its advantages and disadvantages that are not there "hotel's fault, but I would not return.

Yelp
Just before the pandemic happened, I stayed at this hotel for the duration of my stay in Rome, about ten days. I loved that it was central to many restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and fun things to see. Now that I think about it, everywhere in Rome is within walking distance. I've walked the whole city in those days unless I had to get from one corner to another corner in a few minutes. Then, I would take their public transportation, such as the bus or the small car rental (the one you can rent via a mobile app). If I ever come back to Rome in the future, I would stay at this location or at this hotel since it was convenient for all the fun things I've done. The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is hearty; you choose which ones you want from their breakfast checklist, and they always deliver it on time at the front of my front door. I always looked forward to it during my stay. I loved my stay here!

Yelp
Prepaid hotel stay, was told upon leaving I had to pay city hotel tax 5 euros/night ea for 3 of us website never said anything about this. Overall, this hotel is central to everything but only if you walk. Pantheon, Trevi, Vatican, St Peter's. We arrived Saturday, and the car service dropped us at the Piazza Navona because the driver said the streets were too narrow to drop us in front of the hotel. We walked, dragging our luggage over cobblestones and potholes. Most of Rome is uneven cobblestones. The hotel is difficult to find, but Google maps pointed to direction. Inside the reception desk is tiny, and the rooms are upstairs via spiral concrete stairs. Rooms are clean, ancient, and austere. Some rooms have showers, and others have tubs. Breakfast is a Continental-style coffee, juice, package toast, yogurt, cereal, jams, & sliced bread with luncheon meat. It's situated next to a boisterous bar, and the last call is especially raucous. Closing time is full of amateur Italian opera singers and football team chants spilling out into the alleyways & streets. Location-wise, it's a great hotel. Everything else is not much to be desired.

Yelp
Great value. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The building looks its age, but still well maintained. I had a single room and it was just big enough for one person, but I did not plan on spending much time in it. The hotel has a great location. Waliking distance to most of the main sights and within 5 mins of a bus stop. I paid for breakfast. I would recommend, but note- there is no dining room. Breakfast is delivered to your room on a tray. It has a good variety of options and is filling. I didn't even eat lunch the week I was in Rome. The only thing that was frustrating was the wifi. It was very slow most of the time I was there.

Yelp
The hotel has a lot of charm. I stayed in the double room with a balcony and you get a lot of space. The ceilings are huge. The stone spiral staircase reminds you that you are in Rome though it would make it challenging if you have mobility issues (there is no elevator though they do offer to help with luggage). Breakfast is delivered to your room at the morning at a time of your choosing. The location is great and the narrow alleys are lively in the evening with plenty of good restaurants. I recommend completely.

Yelp
Awesome hotel and staff. The rooms are huge with all the amenities. Free breakfast is brought to your room. We had a terrace and it was worth the extra cost. Note... There is no elevator so if you get a terrace room it's 96 steps to the top. There is also a real nice small restaurant right next door. Stay here it is in the best location next to piazza navona.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Amazing location, beautiful building and very friendly and helpful staff. We walked all over Rome and walked right outside to eat and sip wine. Also, the breakfast is included and delivered to your room, with fresh cappuccinos. Perfect stay!
