Hotel Tequendama

The room was so nice and modern. It was absolutely stunning especially in price range. I accidentally went to the suites location as they have a similar name and staff was kind enough to walk with me at night to the correct location. Also I typically skip hotel breakfasts but I believe this hotel has the best breakfast selection and quality I've ever seen outside of all inclusive(which lack the quality part). Everything was delicious. This is my new go to hotel for Bogota. I've added pics of breakfast. And the #1 thing?Check out is 1pm! Absolutely amazing.

Overall, the experience was good. However, the room felt very outdated—most of the furniture and décor looked like it was from the 1980s. Due to construction on our floor, there was noticeable dust, and not only the room but also the hallways appeared old and in need of renovation. That said, the service was excellent. The staff were very attentive, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location is truly excellent. The price was fair for what was offered, free parking is a plus, and although Wi-Fi was available, it was intermittent and unreliable in the room.

This place has potential but the ownership has let it descend into disrepair. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The restaurant was actually quite good. The rooms were terrible and the halls something out of The Last of Us. Windows are thin and even on the 25th floor had poor sound protection. I had two rooms (had to leave one due to excessive noise. The first was renovated and looked nice, although there were some odd choices made (motion faucets, robot vacuum, personal Alexa device). The second was quieter and clearly not renovated. EVERYTHING did not work. In the bedroom there was not one lamp that functioned. Clocks, TVs, phones all not functional. It was creepy. I suppose the price of $50 a night was fair enough but I would not stay here again.

Bogota is a sprawling city so you are close to lots of things and short (cheap) cab ride away from everything else. |The hotel is huge and the bedrooms spacious and clean.|The hotel staff are attentive to the guests, opening doors, and very welcoming. The reception staff could not be more helpful and kind. I left my phone in a cab (first day of my 3 week holiday-I know!)and the staff were amazing. They called the company, sought help from the police and gave me helpful local advice. The hotel taxi helped me to track down the phone( find my phone app). |The breakfast is great. I’m a veggie and there is lots of choice and the buffet style breakfast caters for all culinary tastes. Juices and fruits are a plenty … so overall, excellent value for money , spacious and clean but above all lovely staff.

Overall, very good experience. Staff is very supportive. Until we ask Water is not provided in the room on daily basis. Restaurant staff takes long time for giving the Menu card & to take the Order during Dinner time.

Located a few minutes walk from the center and Candelaria area. Rooms are basic and old, the entire hotel is old and classic. Daily army is present around the hotel for some events what makes it feel extra safe. Breakfast offers a good variety of local dishes. Fair price.

I stayed for one night ; Good location in the city center with a good view of the hills. They have a shuttle service to the airport with frequent routes, and the staff is very friendly. There are restaurants, museums, and pharmacies in the surrounding area. The facilities look old and are constantly being renovated. The room is spacious It is not completely noise insulating, after a couple of hours you get used to it.

Enjoyed a tremendous view of the city and surrounding mountains. Had a steaming hot bath and a comfy bed with great linens. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe here. Lots of staff and security about. Oh and a great breakfast spread and I'm a vegetarian.
