This place has potential but the ownership has let it descend into disrepair. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The restaurant was actually quite good. The rooms were terrible and the halls something out of The Last of Us. Windows are thin and even on the 25th floor had poor sound protection. I had two rooms (had to leave one due to excessive noise. The first was renovated and looked nice, although there were some odd choices made (motion faucets, robot vacuum, personal Alexa device). The second was quieter and clearly not renovated. EVERYTHING did not work. In the bedroom there was not one lamp that functioned. Clocks, TVs, phones all not functional. It was creepy. I suppose the price of $50 a night was fair enough but I would not stay here again.

April 2025. An aging ex-luxury hotel that has turned into a hellhole. Being at the intersection of two VERY busy streets and the very old windows mean that no matter what floor you are on, you will have extreme road noise 24hrs a day. Motorcycles and continuous ambulances going up and down crate so much noise pollution that it is impossible to sleep, unless you use earplugs. We asked for an alternative room, but all of them seemed to suffer from the same problem. There is no gym and no spa although they advertise there is. The rooms are big, but really old. It is not the most expensive, but frankly even if the hotel was $10/night it would not be worth it. It one star hotel. Avoid it if you can.

Located a few minutes walk from the center and Candelaria area. Rooms are basic and old, the entire hotel is old and classic. Daily army is present around the hotel for some events what makes it feel extra safe. Breakfast offers a good variety of local dishes. Fair price.

I stayed for one night ; Good location in the city center with a good view of the hills. They have a shuttle service to the airport with frequent routes, and the staff is very friendly. There are restaurants, museums, and pharmacies in the surrounding area. The facilities look old and are constantly being renovated. The room is spacious It is not completely noise insulating, after a couple of hours you get used to it.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No way that this is 5*. The rooms are dreadful with horror film potential. Most of the staff were very sweet, but spoke no English. The “free” shuttle service driver forced me to pay for his free shuttle service once we reached the airport. I wrote the hotel but they ignored me and sent me a copy paste message of the shuttle schedule…The Wi-Fi barely works…

Beautiful views, truly 🔥hot bath, fine linens, comfy beds. In the center of everything that you could want to explore on foot. I came for a solo vacation and, as a female traveler, felt totally safe and confident. The price was right at about 1/5 of what I would pay in my own country for a lush place like this.

Rooms and overall facilities are and look dated. Housekeeping hardly cleans the rooms; they simply make the beds and pass a duster. Vacuuming and deep cleaning are necessary in the rooms. Service is great, however. The staff is polite and attentive. El VIrrey restaurant is great. Looking forward to some major remodeling for better service and customer experience

The rooms have no hot water. There aren't slippers or bathrobes. When the restaurant is full there's not place where to sit and it's a chaotic experience. There's no minibar in the rooms. Breakfast is good and has different options of Colombian "soups/broths" every morning. Location is very good but I would recommend you to go for a walk when it's dark. Room was a little noisy during the night because of Transmilenio and motorcycles. The people were very kind and attentive. Would I say here again ? I don't think so. I'd rather go to a place where I can have a hot shower and have no trouble with other customers for a table during breakfast.
