After experiencing the indoor pool for a short period of time I started to feel breathless and the heat became unbearable I had no option but to leave. 4 days after returning home I was hospitalised with a respiratory infection and I am still currently taking antibiotics for the problem. ||Any body else reading this had a similar experience.

We made very bad experience here. I mistakenly booked our accommodation one night late and had to book this place in a hurry. We booked it via Expedia and paid 165€ for one night. I called them in advance to check if the booking went through. Even if on the internet it says they speak English, the very rude lady on the phone didn’t made any effort to talk to me because I spoke just English. Than we arrived. The lady at the reception made us feel so unwelcome. If you don’t like your job just change it. We booked a room for two adults and a child. But they didn’t had any baby bed, and the baby couldn’t sleep between us because we got two single beds. I don’t understand why I could book the room if there was no possibility for the kid to sleep. We agreed anyways to stay. At 20:30, one hour later we realised the Airconditioning leaked water and it was dropping very quickly and made very loud noise. We told her and she just said she cannot do anything for us. She also said the reception is closed since 8pm, but the on sheep of paper it said 9:30pm. So she left a pregnant woman with a one year old kid like this and just said reception is closed and she cannot do anything. I couldn’t sleep until 2am, because even if we turned off the Airconditioning it was making every 30min very loud noise or the dog was barking so loud outside. All in all a very bad experience. No Problem management from the receptionist, which was so unfriendly. One point because she gave us a bottle of milk for the little one.

A really nice place up on the mountain. Looks "sleepy" from the outside and are also a bit outdated. The room wasn't very special but was nice and quiet with air-conditioning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though we had a really bad day with a long travel in the car and a bad mood when we arrived they where nice. We used the restaurant and the food was really great and the chef had great carisma. I do apologize for ordering the roast beef well done and deserved the look and the bad words from the chef. My apologies to the chef. 😁🥰

The area was famed by royals and the elite already in early 19th century. And it is truly beautiful.. stunning setting, and very tranquil. Covid has been very brutal to this part of the world so hospitality and smiles are both plentiful. The hotel is simple luxury. Do not expect the excess of city hotels but be indulged by the scenery. Menu is limited but what they do is perfectly fine. You will feel in complete balance and not least relaxed after a dip in the indoor thermal pool, where you may also enjoy drinks or coffee on the very neat poolside . You WILL enjoy it!

This is not a luxurious hotel with 5 Stars. Very simple and clean. The staff is polite and nice. The Saturday was with special drinks and “Apricena” included in the normal price of the hotel. The breakfast was more continental than the usual Italian hotels but still not all available. I liked a lot the fresh natural honey. The bread is typical Italian. If you ask for eggs and bacon or Espresso you will get. They did not offer with request.

We stayed here on our way back home from northern Italy looking for relax and we definitely found it. The hotel is nice although not luxurious. The owner is very friendly and always available for a chat or to assist. Food in the restaurant is very good. The spa is a bit dated but efficient, we enjoyed a good massage and the thermal pool. A good choice

Went to the Spa for a day of relaxation with the family. The staff at reception spoke very good English and were informative and accommodating- very professional. The thermal pool, outdoor sun loungers, and the natural steam grotto were all thoroughly enjoyed by all. I think at €23 per person (for the whole day!) this was an excellent choice. The views are stunning also!

My friend and I were in Florence for a month and decided to have a few days near Bagni di Lucca. This was THE best decision of our very enjoyable holiday. We took the train from Florence, changed trains in Lucca and caught a bus to Ponte a Serraglio which is the nearest village to Hotel & Terme. We then had to walk around 2ks up a steep hill to the hotel. It's certainly easier if you have a car. However, the trek was worth it. The hotel has the best hot pool (a constant 34C) which was just what we needed after our trek up the hill. The hotel is a little dated but clean, comfortable and has a great restaurant with very reasonably priced food - 20 euro for a 3 course dinner plus buffet. The menu changes every day. There is a day spa attached to the hotel with a variety of health massages, wraps and steam cures available at extra cost. The pool is open from 9am to 9pm and we made great use of it. I would definitely return to Hotel & Terme. Brilliant 3 days break from a very busy Florence.
