Hotel Terminus

Recently I was at Hotel Terminus attending a kids birthday pool party. Came to the site and found that there is no dedicated parking so had to pay a guard nearby to park near a residence pavement. The doors were wide open which symbolizes that no one is worried about security around here, I went right inside and there was no visible directions to the location of the pool. But there was a gentleman sitting in sofa (I’m assuming he is some kind of supervisor or manager of the hotel) who kindly asked me if I’m looking for pool and pointed me the direction, on reaching the pool area, it was to my surprise a well planned pool area perfect for party and even though it is situated in the middle of city, it was calm and secluded. The food was average, but service was good. Overall it’s the people who serve in these locations make a difference along with the well planned and laid out pool and party area.

First time In Mozambique and I got royal treatment! 5 star treatment in a 3 star hotel. From the moment you enter being greeted by the friendly staff to the manager and even the security…you feel at home. Fast friendly English speaking front desk to assist with smile getting you into your room. Comfy, clean, spacious and affordable. A great restaurant with amazing meals, little gym to work out and a beautiful pool to cool down. I will definitely be back!!!

Received the most amazing service at the hotel, from management, all the way down. Loved our rooms and the delicious food at the restaurant.

Very decent accommodation. I would give it a 3-4 stars rating. Breakfast also decent. Only setback it's got Street parking. However, there are security personnel to watch your cars.

This is a really nice hotel and the rates are not too bad considering the high prices in Maputo. We paid 97 euro a night with breakfast and all taxes included.||Breakfast is really nice and there is something for everyone. Check in was fast and the staff is really friendly. I had some dinner in the hotel and it was tasty and reasonably priced. There are some great options for dinner walking distance from the hotel. The standard room is not very big but it is clean and comfortable. Nice shower and the bed is ok. Could do with a little more padding.||We stayed for 2 weeks I will be back again. Internet is very good.

Hotel Terminus prides itself as offering five star quality at three star prices and they are truly not far from the mark. The location is great, not far from city center and close to many government offices. It is just five minutes walk from the jogging and walking route next to the ocean front with great views. The hotel rooms are well furnished with firm comfortable beds with fresh linen every day. The buffet breakfast is lovely. The staff are warm, friendly and willing to engage in English. A great place to stay.

A home away from home ...staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was divine and Halaal. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel... Our family had a great stay

I did not stay at Hotel Terminus. ||Went there in my search for vegan friendly restaurants where we can sit down, work on our laptops and hoping they'd have vegan options on their food menu.||They have karaoke nights when the weather is warmer. (Unfortunately, not while we're in Maputo on this trip)||I'd love to find out if the restaurant offers vegan good options, since we are vegan travellers. ||
