This hotel is outstanding in every way. Alejandro and Meribelle were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is beautiful and very calming. We were on a hiking holiday and spent time in the spa each evening after we returned from our walks. Meribelle’s food was superb and Alejandro knew where all the ingredients came from. The wine list is excellent, and again Alejandro could describe the location of each of the wineries. The honesty bar was also very welcome! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Beautiful hotel with spectacular design, very comfortable spaces and great mountain views, with garden and nice tiny spa. The owners are really lovely and made every effort to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts were delicious, with different homemade cakes and great jams every day, and a nice variety of local products. Bonansa is a quiet tiny village surrounded by nature, a great place to rest. Highly recommended!

We only stayed a couple of nights at this tiny amazing hotel up in the mountains of Aragon, but we will defiantly be back soon. In the heart of the hiking country, this is a gem of a hotel, beautiful rooms, attention to every detail, and the whole hearted hospitality of Alejandro and his family. Highly recommended!!

What a little gem this is high in the Spanish Pyrenees. Just 4 cosy double (king size) rooms. Alejandro the owner couldn't have been more helpful especially when our van developed a puncture. Food was amazing too. There is a small spa pool in winter and access to a large outdoor pool in summer. Also in winter you can arrange with Alejandro to go up to one of his hides and watch the vultures feed. Amazing experinec

A little gem tucked into a hillside looking down over a valley of fields, pastures and woods, in the Pyrenees half way between Barcelona and San Sebastian. Each of the 4 rooms has every convenience, Scandinavian in design, as is the hotel designed by the owner Alejandro. Just as his style is refreshingly clean, the culinary skills of Mirabelle, his wife, showed no such restraint as the meals are lavish with extraordinary creativity, each dish calling to be photographed and relished.||The hospitality is generous, warm, and welcoming. I wish we could go back often.

Alessandro and Marie-belle were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome. You didn’t feel like you were in a hotel but staying in a friends home. The hotel is in a beautiful location giving you access to lovely hiking areas. Marie-belle’s cooking is excellent also with great packed lunches.|We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

Alessandro and his partner were incredibly attentive and helpful. Beautiful, relaxing rooms with breathtaking views. Locally sourced and beautifully presented meals. Such wonderful care, attention and pride in all they do. Even with a first aid box when I'd cut my thumb they were amazing! Highly recommended, we'll be back. Thank you!

Alejandro and Maribel are widely traveled and gracious hosts who have created a wonderful retreat in the small town in which he grew up. Maribel is an amazing cook and Alejandro has a wealth of local information, which is good because one will need to do some hiking to walk off those meals. They use local produce, meat, cheese and wine, and the whole experience is an immersion in beauty and simple elegance of a mountain village.
