I'm compelled to write a review about the the concierge, Shady Gonzales at Hotel Terra - she was absolutely phenomenal! Our group consisted of two families totaling 10 people, and despite our large number, Shady handled everything expertly. As first-time skiers from South Louisiana, we were completely unfamiliar with ski school, rentals, and lift tickets. Shady patiently guided us through every step of the process, booking all our necessary arrangements. When we mentioned wanting to visit Yellowstone Park, she recommended a Snow Coach tour and arranged both the tour and transportation. She provided detailed daily itineraries and even helped secure all our dining reservations. Throughout several months of planning, she maintained consistent communication with us.Our vacation's success was largely due to Shady's exceptional service. Upon arriving at the hotel, I made a point to find her and express my gratitude. Thanks to her efforts, this became our family's most memorable trip. We're planning to return to Hotel Terra during the summer months, and I hope Shady will be there to help plan our next adventure - she's become indispensable to our vacation planning!

Outstanding property, staff, and facilities for those who love to ski and those who prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery. The check-in was smooth and efficient (bags in the room even with the rapid check-in), the rooms and baths were large, clean, and everything worked. Although the kitchen was expansive and well-appointed, there were a few items that would have been useful (oven mitts, for example). But all-in-all, a fabulous place and location.

My daughter and I truly enjoyed the spa treatments. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The sauna was very unique with dark green tiles. Cozy and relaxing. The body brush treatment was amazing! The amenities were perfect. We will definitely be coming back

My wife and I are currently in-house at this hotel, and boy do we have some words for the management team and any guests looking to come here. Some background, I am a high-end luxury hospitality professional of over 10 years. TL;DR To guests considering staying here, if you want to be cared for and thought of and made to feel special, stay at the Hotel Terra. Yes, it might seem expensive but it is in Jackson Hole, right in the main village. All the reviews saying it is overpriced are from people who don’t understand simple supply and demand or seasonal resort pricing. All the reviews saying the rooms are not nice clearly wanted to book the Four Seasons but couldn’t afford it and are just sour. The Hotel Terra is a bright and special resort with a great location and even more special people working there. To the management team at Hotel Terra, the four professionals mentioned below are top-tier hospitality workers and make your hotel shine in a much better way than your location or facilities. Give them a pat on the back, and consider them for a raise. They deserve it. I hope they make the morning lineup shout outs! We came here for our honeymoon, and after a long drive from Denver, we arrived pretty exhausted and immediately ran into some issues in our room. They now seem like insignificant little annoyances and gripes after were swiftly and perfectly resolved by the team on site the next morning. MJ at the front office is a true hospitality professional. He was the one who corrected our complaints and turned a rough start to our honeymoon into a very special experience that we are now thoroughly enjoying. He went above and beyond and it is obvious to me that he understands hospitality and its ultimate goal of a special guest experience. Shady at the concierge is so sweet and helped me set up some surprise flowers in the room for my wife on arrival. She even threw in chocolate covered strawberries and champagne, which was a welcome surprise after our travels. Again, she understands what hospitality is all about and it is so refreshing. Sean on the bell team helped us move our luggage between rooms after we had to move due to a noisy fridge. He was very pleasant and made the process of moving rooms way easier. I only had a small interaction with Joaquin at the front desk, but he also deserves a shout out for just making our stay more special by being kind and welcoming. I am a very happy guest and I will be back again :) Just book the trip, you’ll be glad you did!

Hotel was super convenient for skiing jackson. Room and facilities were great. Appreciated the hot tub and ski valet.||||The concierge services were unparalleled- shout out to Shady who truly helped facilitate our trip from weeks befote until our departure. She is a gem. She helped with lessons, rentals, transportation and reservations.||||Hopefully we get back to Jackson Hole and get to stay at this hotel with great service from the concierge team.

Rooms are very tiny. Like almost comically small. Lighting is terrible in the room. And it’s so hot. I’m always freezing and our room was a sauna. Tried everything to cool it down. Nope. Otherwise hotel was great. Wouldn’t stay there again though. Maybe if you get a suite it’s better.

Google
We loved this place! Shady was awesome and the entire staff was fantastic! Rooms were comfortable and clean and the restaurant was great too! It’s also a great location in Teton Village with lots of good shops and restaurants to walk to and the slopes are right at your door. We will definitely book there again!

The staff is great and always willing to help. The bed was very comfortable and made getting a good night’s sleep easy! The proximity to the ski slopes and onsite ski storage make this a great choice for those skiing at the Jackson Hole resort.

Yelp
We have been coming to Teton/Jackson for the past 5 years. Hotel Terra's hospitality and customer service are excellent and makes us want to return year after year. We have stayed at other top resorts in the village but Terra is now our go to. Tyler, the manager, has really gone out of his way to make our trips memorable and helped us when we had an emergency. Such incredible understanding staff!

Dr Nina Z.

Yelp
We loved it here! Our wonderful experience started at the front desk with Tyler, incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly with great recommendations when we checked in and same for Lucus when we checked out after our joyful 3 nights stay at this lovely hotel with incredibly convenient location few minutes drive to the Grand Teton national park through Wilson-Moose Rd. The scenery is magical! The studio room with balcony is a wonderful choice! Just all around a wonderful experience!

Yelp
I recently stayed six nights in a standard king room here on the third floor. We were in the smallest unit on the floor because it was a lock off from the corner unit so it had a hall and the room was very cramped. One of our first observations was an enormous amount of deferred maintenance needed ( my husband is a contractor ) the first day we opened our window and the hardware came apart with the arm connecting and we found not close the window . The shade itself was also broken . Maintenance came and fixed it and we left it closed, until the day we went to Yellowstone and came back at 11 pm to a freezing room where the housekeeper had decided to open both windows, and she too encountered the broken arms so instead of her telling maintenance she put the blind down and pulled the drapes closed over them . When we called downstairs the front desk apologized but said she could do nothing as no maintenance was there that late all she could do was move us to another room on another floor... by then at 11 pm ! My husband jumped into action as we were exhausted, removed both window screens , pulled out a multi tool , strong armed the windows closed and popped the broken arms into the window slot . The next day the director of maintenance came and sheepishly told us that "yeah, we're having lots of problems with housekeeping". We reviewed the light on the wall that was arcing, the handle in the shower and the drain that was broken, the mini split that was rattling and the dresser drawers that needed to be shimmed so they stopped coming out into the walkway on their own. On the positive, the hotel was wonderful to have two amazing washers and dryers on every floor and free detergent at the front desk. The young man grant at the front desk from So Cal was wonderful and so kind . The restaurants and location were top notch . The lobby was clean and inviting and the elevators worked great . I would go back, but not because of the hotel but because of the proximity to the mangy moose restaurant next door and the ease of parking and how over all safe I felt coming in the off season . Oh, maintenance ... for what we pay - please don't duct tape the broken blinds . Get a new one , thank you . We fixed that, too .

Yelp
A quick note a out two recent catered meals st parties, buffet stands both. Just super-- small burgers, buffalo and bratwurst sausages, diverse salads and cheeses, sauerkraut and trout and flank steak and.... You get the picture. If the restaurant is of the same kitchen as these two banquets drew from-- it must be a winner

Yelp
This is an awesome place to stay in Teton Village. There's a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The beds are so comfy-top notch! It's clean and quiet. Everything is lots of fun -Mangy Moose restaurant and bar close by has delicious food and GREAT entertainment! We took the tram up the mountain. There was a marathon that was fun to watch. Fabulous experience!

Yelp
We came here for my wife's 50th birthday getaway. I thought this was a true resort hotel. Have stayed at many around the world. This is a glorified Hilton. Amenities are slightly better but honestly if you have stayed at an Omni resort you would be disappointed here. Restaurants are average and not associated with the hotel. Hotel really has nothing other than a decent gym and pool. If you come in the off season, you are better off staying in Jackson. Also be aware of the false advertising for events in Teton village. On two occasions there were events posted on-line that never took place. So don't plan around them or you may be disappointed. To end on a positive, the rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating and also let us check in early. The Osteria restaurant staff was fantastic and food was good.

Sarah M.

Yelp
This is a nice hotel with a good location in Teton Village. It's only a few minutes walk (uphill) to the tram. The staff is nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. That being said it's hard to understand how things are so expensive in the Teton Village. For a room at this price level I would expect a more flawless experience. Odd things that prevent me from giving the hotel five stars: - The hotel seems beat up and could use some paint, also the light colored throw pillows are dingy and worn - It seems to be the only hotel in the area with a full kitchen for less than $700 a night. However who needs an entire kitchen? A smaller range and fridge and better design would have allowed the room to have an actual bed instead of a Murphy bed. While it was a novel experience staying in a Murphy bed I would not do it again - The shower was a rain shower with not very good water pressure and a European shower glass half wall. The shower was cold unless you ran the water forever to warm up the bathroom. The low flow toilet was so low flow you had to be rather accurate to keep things clean. Also it was difficult to flush toilet paper with the low flow button. - Maid service was inconsistent and did not happen at all one day. There is a rather steep resort charge and one would assume included a daily cleaning and replenishment of coffee bar accoutrement - There seem to be some electric wiring issues. There was an unmarked master switch that you had find to turn on all the lights and it turned on most of them and some of them would turn on and off at random. To keep the whole room dark at night you had to turn off the master switch. Then to be able to find the toilet you had to turn it back on (turn on some of the rooms lights too) and then turn on the bathroom lights. - We were lucky to have a vaulted ceiling but that meant we have a bunch of windows without window covering. So the moon lit up the room and the place was super bright and early morning until late - To use the hot tub during the day you have to sign in at the spa but after the spa is closed you just get to wander into the hot tub Overall this is a great hotel but for the price point I think management should know about these design and maintenance issues

A. Z.

Yelp
Great service. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Actually pretty good gym for a hotel (most hotels are bad). Full dumbbell set up to 50lbs (they should go to 70 though), Peloton bike, some pretty good machines including cable. Staff in restaurants was great. Food is typical for Jackson Hole - overall heavy, but guess that's what most people like. All in all highly recommended!

John L.

Yelp
Great location conveniently located only 100 yards or so from the main tram. It sits next to a small kids playground and an ice skating rink. The prices were decent considering the prime location. At the end of the day you literally ski/board right down to about 20 feet from the back entrance of the hotel. They have a complimentary ski check so you don't have to carry your equipment up and down the elevators/stairs. It's been recently renovated. Most everything is quite nice, but you can still see a few vestiges of it's age here and there, mainly the elevator. Theres only 1 and it's very slow. The rooms are also updated. They messed up our reservations for 4 separate beds so put us up in 2 adjoining rooms which worked out just fine. One room was the usual king bed with single bath. Had mud room area for jackets, boots, etc. It was adjoining with another room that had separate bedroom with king bed, private bath, murphy bed in the living room with another additional full bath with full kitchen. Worked out just fine for 4 adults. The service was adequate. The roof top jacuzzi is nice and large. Never got quite as hot as I expected but could be because it it outdoors and the ambient temperature was in the single digits. It is a little deceiving as the "rooftop" jacuzzi has no views. It is adjacent to the spa which offers massages but also has a steam room. Additional benefit is that you can order beers/drinks from the adjacent spa while in the jacuzzi. There is an infinity pool in the other attached building with some views of the town but it was only lukewarm so we never used it. All in all would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Anne Marie M.

Yelp
Osteria is great, best Caesar salad I've had in years and all the pastas were great. Also excellent breakfasts. Friendly, accommodating staff. Follows all COVID safety policies. Great gym, Chill spa also very nice. Perfect location. Would come again. Only bad things were bed too soft, not firm at all. And pillows totally flat.

John H.

Yelp
Really nice property conveniently located at the base of the mountain. Our family of four visited in early Jan and stayed in room with two doubles on the second floor looking into the commons area (avg $300/night including all taxes and resort fees). The quality of the room was very good - many times these types of ski properties can be really beat up - not the case here as it was in great shape and all the aspects of the room were very nice with plenty of storage. The room could have been a little larger as it was very difficult to have enough floor space for all of our luggage/gear. That was the only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 star. Friendly staff and great quality housekeeping service. Picking up rental equipment from Teton Village sports was also very convenient. Parking was included and also easy to access. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Yelp
Third year in a row we've taken our snowboarding trip in Jackson Hole and stayed at the Hotel Terra. We love this hotel, so allow me to give a much needed update for Conde Nast Traveler's second ranked ski hotel. We literally got the same exact suite we had the previous year. It is a huge suite facing the mountain, complete with balcony. All stainless kitchen with full size fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker. The living room had a comfy pull out couch that easily would be enough room for another couple. They know what they are doing from an A/V perspective and our suite had huge plasmas, cable system with guide so you know what's on, an ipod radio, and Bose DVD/CD surround speaker system. Tons of plugs for all of your gadgets. Boot warmers and plenty of hooks for when you get back from the mountain, or was it the Moose? The bath had a big soaking tub, double sink and rain shower head. Good thing they had a heated floor in there because it got really cold during our stay, I'm talking like subzero cold. The bed was super comfy and had extra pillows. The Terra sets the bar for Eco hotels with its LEED certification. You'll notice those little touches all around. The master switch as you leave the suite seems like such a no brainer, but you rarely see it. Don't think for a second you're trading anything to go green, the Terra is luxurious. The Italian restaurant off the lobby, Osteria, is fantastic. We love the Chill spa, where a rub, steam and soak is the perfect remedy for the bumps and bruises the mountain deals you. They've completed construction on the other wing since our first stay and it now includes a gym and enormous outdoor jacuzzi that overlooks Teton Village. Ski in/out has never been easier and I rode right up to the dudes and dropped the boards. The Terra is steps away from the Big Red cable car that takes you up 4189 vertical feet of the sickest terrain you're ever going to ride. Should that seem too much for you, you can hang a right and spend the day at the Mangy Moose-only the best apres ski scene and $4.50 20oz! Service has always been great, from everyone at the desk to the car valets. The blizzard shut down O'Hare and pushed back our return by a few days and they worked with us by keeping us in the same room at an agreeable rate. Now if only we could have gotten that two feet of fresh on this killer mountain. See you soon Terra. LDK

Yelp
I booked a $9k+ 3 night reservation at Hotel Terra through hotels.com. When I immediately learned that there are no lift tickets available for the weekend I booked I tried to cancel my reservation and requested a refund. The hotel refused my cancellation request and stole my $9k+. Who would want to spend that much money on a ski resort when you can't ski. I immediately tried to cancel when I learn about the lift tickets and they flat out refused. Terrible business practices and theft. Not sure if legal action is possible but I am exploring out of principal to protect people in the future.

Denise W.

Yelp
Gorgeous resort with all the amenities! I was here in the "off" season so many things were closed but it was nice and quiet! Friendly staff, very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. I'd definitely come back.

Ryn R.

Yelp
I don't know why this place doesn't have a five star rating??? Rooms are clean and modern, with good amenities inside. Good gym, super amazing pool looking out onto the mountains, rooftop hot tub, and spa! Perfect placement in Teton Village with so much to do around it (including good restaurants and coffee!!) and close to Jackson. All staff has been incredibly kind and helpful with all our questions and last minute booking. Just all around great people! For our first trip as a family to Jackson, this has been an amazing place to stay! Can't wait to come back soon!

Isabelle B.

Yelp
Everyone that works here that I've spoken with is truly incredible, but a special praise needs to be paid to Stefanie who went above and beyond to help me with my travel plans which had an unexpected turn of Events. The hotel was accommodating and kind to me, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, anytime! I will only be staying here when I ski jackson hole!!! See you in winter 21.

Taco T.

Yelp
I hate myself for staying here. Let me preface this by saying this was a SUMMER stay. In the winter, when there's skiing to be done, it's probably great (albeit crazy expensive) but this place should simply not be open during the non winter months. Don't let the fancy website and brochure fool you. There is NOTHING to do here during the summer, it's like staying in a ghost town. Or worse, a ghost carnival or something. The town of Jackson, on the other hand is awesome. For god's sake stay there. Camp out. Stay anywhere but DON'T stay in a weird abandoned ski resort slash conference center. You will be miserable.

Rina B.

Yelp
Beautiful location with plenty to do. Hiking, biking, relaxing at the pool, restaurants and shopping g all within walking distance. Service is a bit slow.

Christie W.

Yelp
This was my family's first time staying in the Teton Villiage outside of Jackson. The setting is beautiful and my first impression of the Hotel Terra was a solid 4 stars. The room was clean though on the smaller side and the furniture was a little worn, the staff was friendly and helpful and the amenities were an added bonus. The outdoor swimming area was wonderful. My family really enjoyed the views right from the pool. That being said, when we checked in the front desk informed us that there was an air purifier in the room that would run for a few seconds and that we would hear a quiet noise. About 30 min after I gave my kids a bath we heard "the noise". It sounded like a jet taking off right there in our room. And it turned out to be not an air purifier but the Jets in the bathtub turning on. This wouldn't have been such an issue if it had done it once but it continued to run throughout the night at random. It was quite startling and really ruined everyone's sleep. It even woke up my husband! On top of this, it was less than an hour into our stay that I suffered my first injury from the room furniture. The bed frames are modern and have rather sharp square edges that protrude a good 4 inches from the mattress. After seeing how scuffed up the edges are it appears I'm not the only one who has had a collision with the frame. During our stay I ended up hitting my leg twice and sustaining some pretty terrible bruises. I am only thankful that it was me to get hurt and not one of my children! The next morning as we checked out we brought all of this to the staff's attention and while she was apologetic for my injuries, she did not seem concerned with our complaints and offered us nothing to make up for this underwhelming stay. I expected a lot more from such a high end hotel but I've been treated better at hotels that cost $40/night!

Yelp
How can you go wrong by staying in a place that is right in the heart of Teton Village, luxurious, stylish and comfortable while focusing on being eco-friendly? That is Hotel Terra. Fantastic location: a few minute walk to the lifts, restaurants, shops and public transportation into town. Modern & cozy decor: think of the Midwest combined with mid town Manhattan. Gorgeous fireplaces, cow print ottomans, rustic colors on warm, welcoming pieces of furniture....all with a very urban flair. Eco-Friendly: smoke free, chemical free, top notch air quality and ventilation systems, organic sheets & towels, fair trade organic coffee in rooms, organic bath products, and a huge focus on recycling through out the entire hotel. Extras: twice daily housekeeping service, ipod docking station, flat screen TVs, Bose surround sound, high speed wireless, double sinks in bathroom, multiple spa robes (perfect for to and from the outdoor hot tub!), huge rain shower head, on site breakfast cafe and Italian restaurant, heated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub top floor, on site spa services with fantastic steam room, late afternoon wine by the fireplace... Add on top notch service (hello Ski Valet!), and the most accommodating staff (from front desk to valet to housekeeping), Hotel Terra is by far one of the nicest places to stay in Jackson Hole.

Brad S.

Yelp
This is simply a great hotel. My wife and I stayed here the last week of June 2014 and we had an amazing experience. The week before our trip, we needed to cancel a night due to a change in our schedule. They were very accommodating and made the change even though the cancellation period had past. It is a beautiful property ideally located between Jackson and Teton National Park. The staff is probably the best I have dealt with at any hotel, they have a great grasp of what the ideal customer experience should be.

Ile F.

Yelp
It's a brand new hotel in the famous ski resort. Unlike the European type lodge, this hotel gave us a NY feeling. We stayed at the new East wing that probably just opened for a few months. The room employed a contemporary eco friendly design, comfortable and refreshing. We're especially amazed by the deep soaking Zuma Airbath, and 'rainshower' head in bathrooms. What else was better than a great bath/ shower after a whole day outdoor activities? Plus all furniture and fixture was new and clean and the room size was reasonable. The roof top hot tub would be something fun to do after skiing. And the terra café offered great organic food at a reasonable price. After staying at the tiny European type lodge, we found it here the nicest room in the whole area.

Lacey P.

Yelp
HOTEL - We stayed here early February 2014. The boutique hotel had amazing customer service and very friendly & helpful staff. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant in the hotel one night and it was very good. Cozy and unique Italian food. We stayed 4 nights and got a good package that included lift tickets and buy 3 nights get one free. Honestly though it still was pretty pricey. The housekeeping was phenomenal though. The outdoor pool which is heated is a fun spot to thaw out sore feet with a nice view of the little village (Bring a beer with you or hot chocolate). There is also a roof top hot tub as well as a spa (which I wish I would have had time to visit!) I took one star away only because it was pricey and it is not true ski in / ski out - you can definitely ski in... but you CANNOT ski out lol - unless you plan to pole your arms away. It is a VERY VERY short walk - 3 minutes to the lift from your hotel door. But still that is not ski out and for the price I think it should explain its a 2-3 minute walk and not true ski out. I highly recommend spending $15 and leaving your skis and ski boots at JH Sports that way you can wear your comfy snow boots to the ski rental place, grab your gear and go. (Especially if you have kids with you) SLOPES - We skied all 3 days we were there and the powder was just as good as the hype. We have skied all over America and Canada and this was by far the best powder. It was very cold and we didn't have much sun but the powder was worth it. Jackson Hole doesn't have much green area which was perfect for us - almost everything is blue, double blue, black and a few double diamonds. The Hoback black diamonds were amazing since they were covered with powder (made them more fun). There are a lot of terrain parks and min-parks too that we enjoyed. Not to mention the amazing amount of tree skiing you can do! I love to 'play through the trees' and there is plenty of room for that even for those who like to go slower through the trees on blues. FOOD/TOWN - Eleanor's is a sports bar in town, Mangy Moose is a bar in Teton Village that looked fun, and the Spur was a good restaurant nearby. We also ordered pizza for the Superbowl from The Cafe at the Inn that was good. Overall - We had an amazing time and will definitely be back to Jackson Hole, not sure if we will try out another hotel or not, but we will definitely be back for the skiing and cute Teton Village.

Alice M.

Yelp
Great place to stay to enjoy Jackson hole. Great views. Nice bedding. Nice fireplace and kitchenette. Beautiful decor. In the winter months they have an ice rink outside.

Dana S.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay at Hotel Terra. We stayed for three nights. Amanda was so helpful, she accommodated our early arrival and it was easy to add on additional nights. Our room was beautiful we were in disbelief! The rooftop hot tub and steam room are a must after a long day of skiing. We felt like kings during our stay. We had read all the negative yelp reviews and were joking about them all weekend. Forget the haters, this place is incredible! Love from the suite of suites, 562.

Erin B.

Yelp
My family and I recently stayed here. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and spacious! There was construction happening on the hotel next door all thru the night. The hotel staff moved us to a room on the other side of the hotel to make sure we were comfortable. The bathrooms have large deep soaking tubs which are amazing after a day of exploring Jackson or skiing! We will definitely stay here again

Sara W.

Yelp
Sitting in their lobby trying to check in with a staff that is rude, not willing to accommodate an early check in! Dealing with a big business company that has no small town customer service. Hiding behind rules and policies for checking in and checking out. I would not recommend this dive of a hotel. Too expensive and quite ugly in the lobby. No amenities and they are so unwilling to help me find a way to get settled while waiting for my room.

Gina Morra S.

Yelp
Great location and nice staff. Rooms are clean and basic. However, room is tight and showers are luke warm! Can't gat a hit shower! Service for cafe and restaurant are very slow. Not worth what you pay for.

Sarah W.

Yelp
Hotel does not enforce covid mask policy as advertised. Outside, however, the lift line operators enforce protocol (even outside-which is kinda counterintuitive.) Restaurant is operating at 100% capacity indoors with unmasked people. Patrons do not respect nor follow mask rules or distancing rules in lobby and mostly elevator- in a state that is blowing up with covid at 10% infection rate. If you ask a fellow guest kindly to put their mask on or wait for the next elevator you're likely to get a belligerent reaction. The hotel should be enforcing their advertised covid policy. It could take one employee by the elevator/common area at the least to make sure ALL guests feel safe and can enjoy their trip. I mean, heck, they're doing outside!but not inside in Hotel Terra. Unless you want to be part of a mask free culture please be wise to cancel and get an Airbnb.

Yelp
The hotel's location is perfect!!!! Teton Village was really a highlight. The staff gracious and attentive all around. The restaurant was delicious! and the spa along with the pool was nice and did provided a relaxing atmosphere. My issue was with the room, the curtains were not closing properly and after calling to see if someone came to fix it, I told them to come the day after because it was too late, but no one ever came. I also found the bed quite hard. There were issues constantly with the TV it rebooted it system constantly and when I told the lady at check out she just took one movie away. Let me not forget to mention that the hotel does offers Free internet to guests, but if for some reason you need a faster connection be ready to pay $18/night for it! Overall, I don't think I would come back to this hotel since simple requests were not given proper attention. WIth that said, the staff at the front desk that I got to interact at check in was amazing and extremely attentive. Kudos to them.

Yelp
I will definitely be coming back to Hotel Terra. And rightly so, since they offer a discounted price to all returning customers. Loyal? Why yes, and here is why: The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. Every time we would come in from a splendid day of snowboarding, the ski check guy comes out of nowhere and takes your wet, cold equipment with an unfeigned smile. If you get a kick out of dry: in every room is a dryer for your boots and gloves. Oh, dryness... how I love thee. I have to disagree with Jaime G about the cleanliness. When we went (January, 19, 2009) it was uber clean. Then again, I was the dirty rascal coming inside rubbing my wet boots all over their purty floor. I'm not sure what kind of fairy god mothers they've got on their staff, but rest assure its clean 24/7. For the bath... yeah, it would take a long time to fill it up. It's gigantic! The water pressure isn't intense but that's probably because they're an eco-boutique. But who needs to fill up a whole tub when you've got a spacious hot tub and free steam room on the 6th floor? Not many people use the steam room, which is odd because it's DAMN good! All those toxins are gone in 5 minutes and you get to put cucumbers on your eyes. Seriously, you need to get over the "Ew, its all wet!" disorder and enjoy the feeling of intense sweating. Jaime G is right on about the TV. Great, clean interface. Don't worry about movies... they have a TON. The free WiFi reminds me of work and 1998 AOL, but you can pay for an upgrade if you need to download, ahem, whatever you need to download. I also love how Hotel Terra has the best food in the village. Osteria alone is out of this world. However, Cascade has really tasty Buffalo Sliders that are definitely worth the 50 steps to Teton Lodge. Also, the cafe on the 1st floor is also a great little spot for morning crepes, yogurt, burritos or bagel lox. We did have one inconvenience. One morning, the person next to us left their alarm on before they checked out and it would not go off for five minutes. We called the front desk and they took care of it. That night, they sent us some tasty chocolates and a handwritten letter apologizing for the disturbance. Thanks Julie M for the note! You really made us feel special! So, I guess it wasn't really much of an inconvenience. Anyway, that's my review! Can't wait to come back. I hope next time we come, there's a huge dump. :)

Yelp
If aspirations made a hotel great, this would be a 5-star hotel in Jackson with a decent location close to the tram. Unfortunately, Hotel Terra lacks execution on so many fronts. The lack of water pressure at 7 am makes showers a challenge. The restaurant is basic and uninspired. Oatmeal comes premixed with lots of sugar. And then there's the laundry. While the hotel offers free washing machines, you're out of luck if you want something done professionally and on the same day. I cannot recall anything other than same-day service at any place I have stayed over the last several years--and I travel a lot. Perhaps Hotel Terra needs to use Yelp to find Jackson's Blue Spruce Cleaners--in by 10, back by 4.

Yelp
The hotel is LEED silver-certified and is as eco-friendly as you could get. Their friendliness to the environment, however, is outmatched by that of the staff. Their effusive helpfulness, along with the pure gorgeousness of the surrounding nature, and the contemporary but lush decor of the hotel, makes it a dreamy experience. Speaking of dreamy - one of the most comfy beds ever ( very high-thread count organic cotton and pillowtop latex mattresses). Parking is free and it's right by the tram and gondola up the mountain. Hotel Terra is also really close to the south entrance to the Grand Tetons and a 10 min drive from great hikes (e.g., Jenny Lake). Free wi-fi and self-parking and the Italian restaurant downstairs, Osteria, rivals that of our favorite Italian places in San Francisco. I don't ever want to leave.

Yelp
Hotel Terra has got it going on! This was our landing spot for a 5-day trip to hit the slopes of Jackson Hole. The staff was always helpful, a very easy check in and check out process. The ski concierge was a super nice convenience rather than trucking all your gear up to your room. We were in a basic two bed room. Boot driers in each room are a nice thought but went unused this time around. A nice iPod alarm clock at bedside but not compatible with the new connectors. With everything that is happening and available in Teton Village there really isn't much of a drive to head into Jackson unless you want to eat somewhere specific but if you are here to be on the mountain you have everything with a 5 minute walk. The pool/hot tub on the 3rd floor was pretty clutch on this trip, being able to soak sore muscles after a day on the slopes was great. Grab a couple drinks and take your time. While you are at it book yourself some pamper time in the Chill Spa! Couple of things that could be a little better: the sliding door on the bathroom, not very effective and doesn't feel very private. There are two buildings and the floors don't match up perfectly so more signage would be a little more helpful. The free wi-fi, 256K was pretty disappointing.

Yelp
Nice hotel. I wonder how much money the hotel and resort lose because the Jackson Hole Resort's website is consistently down on weekends and evenings... Seriously - please have the resort check their server room. The website only works during business hours. Did someone plug it into the office lighting timers?

Yelp
I have to say, the staff at Hotel Terra made for the most successful wedding week we could have had! My fiance and I booked a stay here for the few days leading up to our wedding, and the staff could not have been better! From the moment we arrived, the bell/valet attendant was super helpful in unloading our car. When I walked in to check in, we were greeted by name and given the full rundown of all the hotel amenities. To me, this goes a LONG way when you are a tired traveler. When we got to our room, we had the most amazing view of the village! It was absolutely incredible, and sitting on the patio enjoying the view was one of the best parts of our stay. We also had a chilled bottle of bubbly waiting for us, again a VERY nice touch. The furnishing were nice and very modern. The bathrooms are so cool and the hotel supplied full bottles of toiletries (compared to travel size ones, this was incredible). I'll say it again, this hotels does the little things very well. We were so impressed with our stay, we will definitely book here again on our next trip to Jackson Hole.

Yelp
I pretty much agree with everything Jamie G has to say about the hotel aside from clealiness, my room was very clean and there were no stains on the carpet so i didn't have an issue there its great to see a top notch hotel making the effort to go green the only thing i want to add is i had a great experience with both of the concierge: Jean and Nancy Jean emailed me before we arrived and gave me great suggestions on activities and Nancy pointed us to the best hike in Yellowstone the hotel is centrally located and it was perfect for our visit to Grand Teton and Yellowstone as well as the downtown Jackson area can't wait to go back there again

Yelp
We were supposed to have our wedding at Hotel Terra on Feb. 8, but mother nature had other plans. After Teton Village lost power, Erik at Hotel Terra made us his number one priority starting before dawn and made sure we had alternate accommodations both for hotel rooms and the wedding. He worked with the new venue to make sure everything was perfect. I cannot tell you what a lifesaver he was. The customer service was outstanding and I can't wait to return when there is power! I truly could not say anything better about Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge.

Yelp
Had a great stay here! Love the vibe of the hotel, located in Teton Village. This was our first trip to Jackson, so we thought this hotel was downtown. LOL. Teton Village is NOT downtown, but a 20-30 minute drive away - most of which is down a road under construction! Just FYI! That said, Teton Village is lovely and in some ways, more exciting than downtown Jackson. We had a great concierge named Evan, who was very helpful in selecting activities and restaurants. We stayed in an Urban Studio room (304), which was cozy and perfect for a couple. The Murphy bed was surprisingly VERY comfy and the fireplace, full kitchen and deep soaking, jetted tub were excellent touches! The Chill Spa on the 6th floor was also great! We had a couples massage, which was one of the best I've had (and they do offer prenatal massage therapists... Mine was Crystal and she was attentive and skilled) followed by a soak in the rooftop hot tub! The spa amenities like steam room and shower were fantastic too. The ONLY complaint we had was that our studio room was RIGHT ABOVE a *very* popular playground where kids seemed to play from early morning til night! It was cute to see them play but there's no white noise or anything in the room so we usually were up by 8:30am once the kiddos started playing. Also, PRO TIP: we turned the dishwasher on for white noise while taking a midday nap. Excellent stay - highly recommend!

Yelp
Hotel Terra is a great hotel, no doubt. But it's really small as in the 'rooms' go. the suite would probably be the best choice if your looking for a larger room. This place has great shops and dine's in the resort like 'Il Villaggio Osteria'. It's in the village of the Tetons-- It's very easy to find you will find it. It's very pricey as the cafe goes. Great concierge, helpful and nice. Great location-- You can walk right to the village. It was a great stay. Also, best for a 2 night stay!! (cause of the small rooms ) This place is great; for a 1 to 2 night stay close to the Grand Teton's natl park. About 10-20 minutes. When ski season is here it's great location for the ski slopes and shops and rental places around the resort. by four seasons and the shops etc..

Yelp
They were great at this hotel. the concierge helped us with booking things before we got there. They had cupcakes ready at the room since they knew i was there for my bday. We killed the cupycakes in 2 minutes. They did tell us there was no dog sledding available so we booked another activity but later found a place that did dog sledding and they were gonna charge us full price for canceling our activity to do the dog sledding but they got it all taken care of so I woldnt have to. They also gave us a bottle of wine as an apology. The rooms are super small, but you wont be in there that much anyway. The restaurant downstairs is supper yummy!.

Yelp
I hosted a business meeting at this hotel. I have to say it was really well done. We wanted the Four Seasons, but it was unavailable. OUr experiences at both places let us know we made the right choice. Service in general, and food service was superior to that we received at the four seasons when we at their on multiple occasions. Matt the concierge was great, and Dave in client services was outstanding. Unfortunately our experience was not improved by our experience with Eduardo the night manager. A number of us had keys malfunction. when going down to the desk, there was no one around, and we were met with attitude when finally served. No one should have to wait a half an hour to get a key to their room. eduardo ruined an otherwise great ex

Yelp
Great hotel to stay at while you're at Jackson Hole. Steps away from the lifts. Very clean and modern. Great restaurants, we ate most of our meals here. btw... did I mention they have $1 PBR in the Cafe at lunch time? We used the concierge to book all the taxi rides without any issues. All the services you'd expect from a ski in / out. Valet for your skis / boards. boot / glove dryer in the room. Roof top hot tubs. I made good use out of my hotel room jacuzzi tub.

Yelp
Be aware some rooms have kitchenettes and you can smell what the guests next to you are frying up in their pan. We awoke earlier than we would have liked due to intrusive fried cooking by guests the room over. Went there at the beginning of summer for a week. We tried the spa and the 2 restaurants on site. Staff was friendly and mostly responsive to the offensive cooking smell in the morning from the room next to us - lack of ventilation and doors between rooms might not be completely sealed. Lack of a common area to sit back and read a book makes for a less than stellar property. All in all a good value for the money but other options should be explored.

Yelp
I continue my thank you's with one for the Hotel Terra. We had to cancel due to our Labrador being diagnosed with Spleen cancer, they considered our request and allowed us to cancel the expedia based reservation. We hope to reschedule our vacation in the near future and will check out availability again at that time. Thanks Laura!

Yelp
Great hotel, EXCEPTIONAL concierge (especially Evan!!). Only reason it's 4 vs 5 stars is the WiFi. It only lets one device on guest WiFi which is ridiculous in today's environment of multiple cell phones, iPads, etc.

Yelp
I loved this hotel for several reasons: The people are incredibly friendly and want you to have a great time. The beds are comfortable, and the views are amazing. I was going back and forth on whether or not I should stay in Teton village or Jackson, and I know I made the right choice because of this hotel. We're in walking distance to great restaurants and close to the park. This hotel really helped me decompress from work. They treated my wife on her birthday wonderfully.

Yelp
I was blown away with this Hotel. Where do I start. Clean, well laid out room. Impeccable service. And the best part - it's a LEED certified green hotel. The attention to detail is like none other - from the artwork in the hallway to the simplicity of style and design in the rooms. I agree... it's like W Hotel meets Dwell magazine in the amazing eco-center of Jackson Hole. The summer time visit was amazing and now I can not wait until I can make it there in the winter. I hope it is just as amazing.

Yelp
Nice hotel, very poor lighting in the rooms and the tv does not work. It is Walking distance to everything Outdoor hot tub on the third floor is nice. Not sure if I would stay here again, maybe find a different hotel if we come back
