Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the view was amazing over the Malecon and the ocean.||Yes it is noisy but it's a city what do you expect (we knew beforehand and bought earplugs with us for night-time and they did the trick, slept all night).||The Hotel itself is very nice and clean, the rooms very spacious. The bathroom & sink area are separate which we found very handy.||We had dinner twice there and both were times were great, portions are very generous too. Breakfast was good too. The staff were very helpful and the wifi in the lobby area was great too(you have to buy the wifi cards @ 2 cuc each for an hour.||A 15/20 minute walk to Old Havana which was easy going, and a stroll along the Malecon is a must, if only to see the cars going past. Enjoyed our visit very much.

We chose Hotel Terral for our trip to Havana and it was a good choice for us. The view from our room over the Malecon was outstanding. The staff was great and very friendly. Breakfast was included and it was very good. We loved the location as well. Though there were some issues with a water leak (the staff moved us to another room, no problem) and the air conditioning was not as effective fighting the July heat and humidity as we would have liked, it is all within the context of a visit to Havana. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we return to Havana.

We have just returned from Cuba, having spent 3 nights at the Terral. This is a small hotel but what they lack in size they make up for in service and standards. We were booked in for a trip to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and were congratulated on arrival before being given the news that we were being upgraded to a top floor suite as a courtesy for one night, which we then extended for the rest of our stay. The room was huge with an equally big corner balcony, affording great views of both ends of Havana plus the activity along the Malecon. Everything at the hotel was immaculately clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly, spoke good english and helped us to book as show with dinner to see the Buena Vista Social Club, which we would highly recommend. They were only to happy to offer advice on local attractions and services and provided us with a free map of the city. The place was perfectly positioned for our purposes, within easy distance of the old and new areas of town and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering a short stay in Havana.

Stayed close and decided to eat here one night and returned the next. Friendly staff who worked hard to make all of the visitors welcome. Clean and modern and situated on the Malecon. WiFi was excellent and reasonably priced unlike many places with a higher rating in Havana. Food was good although a little limited (which is not unusual for Cuba) and a menu of the day was offered at a very reasonable price.

We only started here one night as a stop-over for the airport but location is in between Central and Old Havana with an unencumbered view of the Malecon.|The staff were very welcoming and spacious rooms. Everything was clean and neat - all that was missing was a bin in the main bedroom (it's not nice to use the toilet paper bin for general refuse) and a strange configuration to the sink area versus the bathroom. We booked as 2 couples but were given twin beds - we had travelled very far so were too tired to bother making a fuss but it would have been an issue if we were staying longer.|Breakfast was good and the wifi in the hotel lobby is the best we've had in Cuba! (You need to buy their own cards for 2 cuc). |I would recommend this hotel as a good spot from which to explore Havana!

The rooms were very spacious and clean, except for the bathroom towels that were not. You cannot sleep at night, very loud!!! It is basically as you are sitting in the middle of the Havana malecon. You can hear people talking, music and the traffic does not stop at night. We did not sleep for 3 nights. The balcony door never open but the view was awesome. No wifi in the hotel you have to go outside to get wifi and sometimes they do not have wifi cards. The breakfast was ok but they do not offer bottled water, I had to pay for it and they took forever to find out if it was possible to sell me the water, unbelievable!! Some of the hotel staff were super nice and helpful but some of them were lazy and unwilling to help. If I am going back to Cuba I would prefer to book a different hotel. There were 2 restaurants to the right of the hotel I ate in one and I got really sick, I caught like a stomach bug!!

Hi we just came home from Cuba staying at the hotel Terral for 5 nights (3 then 2 nights ) The staff was very helpful , we paid extra to upgrade to a suit with lots of problems .... we was not told of building work and had a broken toilet !! And no power the last morning we was there ! We did get compensated after the great reception staff helped by calling there boss . We did find out the last day they had a sister hotel but was never offered to stay there with all that went on , also being told it was more in the centre of Havana, if you Travel to Havana I recommend you do not stay at this hotel until all works are finished ! But we made the most of what we had & thank you to all the staff not the management!!!

Nice Hotel! This small, boutique hotel is well-situated on the Malecon. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the suite which takes up half the top floor. Great patio. Great views. Comfortable room. Although it's not too old, some of the details were showing wear and lack of service But, it's Cuba. You can't expect that there are always going to be parts to fix things. I'd definitely go back.
