Hotel Terrasse am See

Hotel and property was absolutely stunning! Probably my favorite hotel room so far. The staff was warm and welcoming! Breakfast was nice bonus even though I’m not a big breakfast person the coffee and toast was all I needed. I would recommend renting a car if you stay here just because getting around without a car is challenging and pricey. I had to cancel a few excursions due to not being able to arrive early enough since bus and water ferry only run between 10-5pm. I would stay here again, but I would definitely rent a car.

Rooms can get hot in summer. Terrific views from balcony and terrace, but not much shade. There is no dining. Hotel needs a general update, which seems to be planned

Rooms are very good with a beautiful view. Staff is very helpful, especially the lady in the reception she was super helpful and a very generous person. Don't think just book this one, you won't regret !!!

We had 10 nights driving round Europe. We were lucky with all the hotels we stayed in but this one was the icing on the cake. An absolute delight. Set on Lake Lucerne with views to die for. Our room was comfortable and traditional with a balcony with that view - wow. Breakfast was a good selection and enjoyable. The passenger ferry to Lucerne departs from just in front of the hotel and Mount Rigi venicular to the side of the hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Staff are very nice. The room with balcony is lovely. You have the breath taking view of Lake Vitznau from your balcony and the dining room. Breakfast with many healthy and yummy choices. There is also free on-site parking which is a plus. The train station and the boat station are within 300 meters away.

We had a wonderfull evening and the most friendly staff we have seen in a long time. The view near the lake is breathtaking if you have nice weather, we have added our photo here we made in the evening. The food was also delicious. We recommend this place.

This review is overdue. We stayed at this hotel while on a road trip a few years ago. We had been delayed and called ahead to confirm our reservation. Upon arriving the manager not only got us checked in but kept someone from the kitchen to make us food! This was a remarkable hotel stay and the service was the best. The location is great, right by the water and terrific views. The manager then was there to send us off again when we left. Thank you!

We had a superb stay. The view, the calm, the setting, the location: superb. The lake view is magnificent. The hotel is extra pitoresque. Certainly one of the rare times in my life when I've said, I'm not leaving, I'm staying here, in this calm, I'm letting go of everything. (Ndlr And yet I live in Annecy)
