We didn’t stay at this hotel, but we had lunch here. The empanadas and chicken were some of the best I’ve had. So so good!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful location. As other have said the dogs barking in the morning is a bit of a nuisance. But the hotel was lovely and they provided wonderful service. Also, I recommend trying out the food. Breakfast was very delicious with homemade tortillas—yum!

A nice little lake-front property with great views. More than the hotel, I loved the family. They're really nice people and very welcoming.

We really enjoyed staying here. We had a corner room with a gorgeous view of the lake from our balcony. The room was clean and large. There is plenty of hot water. The family that runs the hotel is very nice and helpful. I speak Spanish so that definitely helps. The village is a fantastic Maya experience. You really get to experience the local culture. We were fortunate to be there to see the Friday night Lent procession. The hotel is accessible by tuk-tuk from Panajachel or by pick up truck colectivo. Your luggage goes on top and you have the experience of riding with the local people. The restaurant has great food. The empanadas are the best that we have ever had. The village is somewhat isolated but it's definitely worth a visit to experience it. The only negative issue for me was the very firm bed. I put a heavy blanket between the sheet and the mattress and that solved it.

It was very delious made from scrach, real food. We had the nachos, the empeñanas, the omelette, the pankake, pollo a la plancha, just perfect!

We enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. The room (we had #12) was spacious and very comfortable. Our room was on the 3rd level and had wonderful views of the Lake. One entire wall was windows! The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The food served at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. We had secure parking for our motorcycle and the wifi was good (outside of the room). It was quiet and very relaxing to stay here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

SAN Antonio Palopo is a poor town, with few facilities other than the magnificent lake views. ||||I stayed here on a Rotary Project, where we built two homes for local people. The homes we built were smaller than the rooms we stayed in in this lovely hotel. The food is good but basic, no fine dining here. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The beds comfortable, the rooms clean and a good shower in the bathroom. ||Very good value and I would recommend this place for a stay in the town, lake views from the terrace and some rooms.

We stayed at a house near here but we came here for breakfast every morning and a few nights for dinner as well. Everything was great, we loved the breakfast and empanadas, but these were some of the best margaritas we've had. And the only place in Guatemala that made good margaritas that weren't just lemon juice and tequila! Prices were fair, staff was great. Would recommend!
