Hotel Thalassokipos

The breakfast is delicious, very hearty. From eggs to bacon, coffee, fruit juice, milk, dessert. The view is wonderful and breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the sea and the surrounding islands. The location is excellent, on a hill.

Ahhh what to say about this place other than it is absolutely perfect and magical. This is clearly a long-time passion of the owners, who also grow a beautiful garden/grove of olives, pomegranates, figs and other beautiful plants (and are very sweet and friendly, along with the entire staff!). The location and view are absolutely breathtaking, the rooms very clean and comfortable (including extremely comfy bed and pillows!), and the kitchens very well-equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is exceptionally noteworthy, with home-cooked and rotating dishes for any palette made fresh daily. I wish I had this breakfast every day at home 😅 Hats off to the chef. It’s not in some busy tourist zone though, so only book this place if you’re looking for a down-to-earth, completely relaxing, and quiet experience. Enjoy a swim at the small, private beach, a drink at the Moonlight bar, and chill in the garden with a book. Everything perfect, 10/10–thank you to the wonderful team for this experience.

Thalassokipos is a hidden paradise and one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The location is magical, surrounded by olive gardens, fig and lime trees, grapevines, and even tomatoes growing right in the garden. It feels like a secret Mediterranean oasis. The entire property is lush and serene, with cozy hammocks, garden chairs, and peaceful nooks perfect for reading or just soaking in the beauty. For the first time ever, we didn’t even want to leave the hotel to dine out as nothing could beat the view from our own terrace. It was pure magic. Our room was spotless and well-equipped with a kitchen and electric stove, which gave us the freedom to cook whenever we felt like it. Since the location is a bit remote (shops are about 10 minutes away by car), we recommend driving to a nearby supermarket Masoutis that offers amazing fresh fish and local delicacies. Bringing those back and enjoying a home-cooked meal on the balcony with that view was one of the highlights of our trip and honestly we didn’t want to leave the hotel to go to the restaurant as we knew we won’t have such views anywhere else. From the moment we booked, the owners were helpful and responsive. I had some questions before arrival (including a payment issue), and they replied quickly via email with such kindness and support. It really set the tone for the entire stay. Their hospitality is genuine and heartfelt. The nearby beach is a dream, with crystal-clear water, natural shade from olive trees, and often completely empty. No sunbeds, but honestly, you won’t miss them. It felt like our own private escape. We also took a boat trip around the lagoons in the region, only to realize we were already staying in one! Breakfast was fine, nothing particularly special, but everything else more than made up for it. Parking was easy and convenient. One tip: booking directly through the hotel’s website is cheaper than on Booking.com. And one final note: while the atmosphere here is peaceful rather than lively, I highly recommend staying at least a few nights just to recharge before heading to more touristic or bustling destinations. It’s a soul-soothing place, one we didn’t want to leave for a single minute. It is a true gem and we’re already dreaming of coming back.

Hotel Thalassokipos is one of the best hotels in area! As someone who have seen almost all of the hotels in Halkidiki, I can guarantee you that you will stay astonished! Quiet place, with lots of flowers and greenery! We felt like we were at home. The beach is one of the best in the area, sand, pebbles, lots of sea creatures as urchins, octopuses, clams, shells, crabs, star fishes etc... Rooms are very nice and cosy with beautiful sea view. Staff and the owners are very kind and outgoing. Breakfast is very nice and home cooked! This is the place were you would come back again and again!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Upon arrival, the view already caught us. The rooms are great and very comfortable (and again with that perfect view). The host was very welcoming and had great tips. Breakfast was simply incredible. The small private beach has perfect water for swimming. The hotel is isolated on a peninsula, so you need a car.

Our stay was like a Dream! Such a beautiful hotel; everything was perfect. We came here to rest and it couldn't have been better. From anywhere the view is just stunning. Decoration of the room and the garden is so great. Room was comfy and the balcony great too. Amazing sunrise from the room too! Breakfast so delicious with fresh and differents products everyday. Little beach down the hotel just perfect: transparent water, some shadow, and we were generally alone. Very peaceful. Would definitely come back!

Incredible location with very nice stuff and a breakfast that is beyond compare with anything I have seen before. At least 3 different warm meals at the breakfast day a different offer and everything tasted divine. The view is just stunning and you have access to a private beach area. It is overall a very private location, perfect for relaxation. We will be back!
