Hotel THE FRITZ

We liked this hotel a lot. Rooms were small but very correct. Beds very comfortable. All the bathroom items such as soap, shampoo, body cream, hair dryer are available. I must say we slept pretty well as there was no noise at all from the street. Especially we liked breakfast. Everything was nicely served, lots of healthy options. You can really eat well for breakfast. What we appreciated the most was personnel, especially at breakfast room. All women of good appearance, very accurate, very clean. Because sometimes in hotels you have some really weird people who work in kitchens. So, 5 starts for everything from us

Stayed 2 nights at The Fritz in Dusseldorf. I had a City Double (with King Bed) on the second floor and it cost GB£165 for a Friday and Saturday night, without breakfast. My room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The shower was great and there was a fridge and safety deposit box in the room. There is no Car Parking at the hotel but you can park in a public car park a short (4 minute) walk away for €20 for 24 hours. The bar and lounge areas looked nice but I didn't use these. The hotel location is great for exploring the oldtown on foot.

A nice boutique hotel that has a modern edgy personality. It is away from the main buzz of Konigsalle and there are shops (eg. dm, cosmetic shops) and eateries nearby. It's 3min walk from the U-Bahn station or 5min walk to bus stop. Room size is cosy and adequate for single occupancy. Staff is friendly and facilities are relatively new.

Best bed and shower of our 3 week trip, enjoyed wine each night on our semi private balcony, decor is posh staff helpful and a fair walk to old town but a lovely walk - bathroom art wall is a bit sheer but no problem could use a regular chair instead of barstool but otherwise good ||

Excellent stay and loved the room. Good breakfast!Just one thing that is not great - the bathroom light stay on and only goes off after a while - it’s disturbing if someone is asleep. Great service and helpful staff.

Location is pretty good, but less glorious than what they suggest (on the Koenigsallee, which it isn't). Room was in principle very good, but the airco was not working properly. It turned itself off all the time and an error code appeared. Breakfast was good, but not amazing. I've had much better in German hotels. They did not even have ketchup and mustard. Overall still very good, but not excellent. I'd say 3.9 stars.

Really limed thé cosy design of the rooms. Mine was spotless, very calm & quiet, and bed was very confortable.||Very easy access to the central station (15mns walk or 5mns tram) and 5mns away from our office…will definitively come back.||Staff is also very nice and helpful.
