literally the BEST hotel in Amsterdam. Totally adored. The receptionists were so nice and caring they were really sweet and helpful also the wine and the waffels were soo delicious we loves the treats. I’m definitely gonna stay there the second I go to Amsterdam❤️❤️❤️

The room is very clean. Aesthically is exactly what you'd expect from the price range. The staff were all friendly and helpful . It only takes about 10min to get to the city ceter and there's a tram station right near it. The only issue was the very thin walls. You could hear everything happening outside the room and on the streets. So think about earplugs if you're a light sleeper like me.

Excellent place for solo travelers. I stayed in a single room and there were no problems. A sincere shoutout to Casper and Adam at the front desk who were so kind and adaptive to any doubts / clarifications during my stay.

I cannot believe this property advertises itself as a three-star hotel. The experience was horrendous and completely unacceptable. First of all, the photos online are incredibly misleading. We were placed in a basement-level room that bore no resemblance to the images. The reality was a dingy, grim, and dark room full of visible cracks, mold on the walls, moldy bathroom tiles, and ceiling. That was not enough - to top it off, there were cobwebs at every corner, and we found spiders and an earwig. All the textiles—including carpets, curtains, and towels—were stained, old, and looked completely unhygienic. It's unbelievable how far away from the pictures everything looked. The bed wasn’t even made properly; it looked like someone had already sat on it. The towels were far from fresh, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly. To top it off, there were blood stains above the sink—a disgusting oversight in cleanliness. It feels like this property is exploiting customers and travelers by charging a premium price for abysmal conditions. We paid €190 for this room, and the standards were far worse than a budget hostel. When we asked the receptionist if the room was cleaned, he simply said: yes, of course. We showed him the pictures, and all he had to say was that we were welcome to leave a review. From their demeanor, it’s clear that he was unphased and had this experience countless times before without caring. This is by far one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. I strongly urge others to avoid this hotel unless it undergoes major renovations and dramatically improves its hygiene and service standards.

This is a very old and wore out property in a nice area of town. It does not have an elevator, and it does not have AC. This is on the same level as a youth hostel

I've been coming back to this hotel as a regular for a few years now for it's perfect location in Amsterdam, and extremely kind and welcoming staff (particular mention to Amdom who was very helpful). I will happily be coming back

Overall our experience here was nice, but some things didn't work well. Our beds were made just for a few days and then never again (we stayed 10 nights), the same with toilet paper and coffee in the room which were never refilled. The hair dryer wasn't working too. We were at the first floor and there were workers next our door, so there was noise in the morning. However the location of the hotel is very good to explore the city, next to a tram station and a supermarket. Also being out basically all day that was fine for a 10 days stay in the city.

This hotel is very cozy in a quiet neighborhood. It is very close to Vondel park and in the area with the must-see museums. The room has exactly what you may want for a few days. Ours had a view to the garden. Also, while we were there, we extended our stay and the staff in the reception was very helpful in general. The price for the area, I believe, is normal. I recommend it but I have to mention some small but important things. We had thrown down our towels twice, because we wanted to replace them, but they didn't do it. In general, the towels didn't look that clean. Also, there isn't an elevator, so I don't believe that is proper for an old couple, because it will be tiring.
