This hotel is excellently located in a great area, near the Van Gogh museum, Rjksmuseum and Moco museum. It is very convenient to reach via tram from city centre, although we chose to walk which was very pleasant. There is a very big park nearby and also a supermarket around 10 minutes walk away. Our room had plenty of space for two and was very comfortable. There is a lovely lounge area by the reception with tables and chairs and the reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed out stay here! Thank you!

The staff were professional, friendly, and efficient throughout the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to public transportation, allowing guests to reach major attractions without difficulty. The breakfast was fresh, healthy, and well-prepared. Overall, Neightbour Hotel Amsterdam is a great option for travelers seeking an eco-friendly hotel without compromising on comfort.

Avoid at all costs, bed bugs, mice, and dishonest management. I would strongly advise against staying at Hotel Neighbours Magnolia. We booked for one night and within hours discovered bed bugs in the room. To make matters worse, a mouse was running around inside the room. When we reported this, nothing was done. The manager lied to us, claiming the room had been checked and no issues were found, despite the clear evidence. They refused to offer a refund, showing zero accountability or concern for guests’ health and safety. We felt so uncomfortable that we left five hours earlier than planned just to get out of that hotel. This was by far the worst experience we’ve had in any accommodation. If you value cleanliness, honesty, and basic standards of hospitality – stay anywhere else but here.

The rooms are small but comfy, when we checked in and moved the beds the floor was a bit messy, but after a cleanup all was good, the staff is the most friendly and professional I saw in last few years, the location is quite good, with a lot of restaurants around

Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When we arrived, we had to drag our luggage up extremely narrow, spiral staircases. But the real issue was the bathrooms. From the first day, there was a strong mildew smell, and we noticed black mold in the cracks and corners of the floor and walls. The smell only got worse each day, and by the last three days of our 5-night stay, it was unbearable. When we left, we were relieved to be done with the place, but things got even worse — when we opened our suitcases at the next destination, all of our clothes smelled like the moldy bathroom. Even after washing, the odor lingered. The only positive is the location — just a 3-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, with easy access to restaurants, the park, and other parts of the city. But the condition of the hotel itself was awful, and I would strongly advise anyone against staying here. That overwhelming mold smell is something I won’t forget anytime soon.

Located in an idea location just a short walk from the Van Gogh museum and the Rijk. Easy to get to from the airport via 397 bus. No need for transfers or taxis! Single room was small, but as you’ll learn Amsterdam houses do tend to be small and tall. Clean, friendly staff, well priced for what’s on offer. Breakfast was fresh each morning. Home towards the roadside can be noisy with local traffic. A lot of guests also don’t realise you CAN close the doors without slamming them. Pleasant stay and would recommend.
