Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When we arrived, we had to drag our luggage up extremely narrow, spiral staircases. But the real issue was the bathrooms. From the first day, there was a strong mildew smell, and we noticed black mold in the cracks and corners of the floor and walls. The smell only got worse each day, and by the last three days of our 5-night stay, it was unbearable.
When we left, we were relieved to be done with the place, but things got even worse — when we opened our suitcases at the next destination, all of our clothes smelled like the moldy bathroom. Even after washing, the odor lingered.
The only positive is the location — just a 3-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, with easy access to restaurants, the park, and other parts of the city. But the condition of the hotel itself was awful, and I would strongly advise anyone against staying here. That overwhelming mold smell is something I won’t forget anytime soon.
