Hotel The Noblemen

This is my favourite hotel all around, we lived in Amsterdam for 15 years and every time we go back we stay here. Location is perfect, right on the canals but still super quiet. Rooms are spacious and beautiful, attention to detail is fenomenale. Breakfast is excellent, served to your room, delicious and plentiful. |Service is excellent, very accommodating and super friendly. |Their city guide is also really good, we were locals and plenty of our friends still are, and these are restaurants/places we would recommend too! Overall 10/10, would highly recommend.

Hotel The Nobleman is undeniably charming and full of character. I really enjoyed learning about the building’s history, which adds a sense of depth that is hard to find in modern hotels. The attention to detail throughout the property reflects a genuine respect for its 1600s origins. Our room was lovely upon arrival, but we quickly realized the space was not very practical. With two large suitcases and two smaller ones, the room felt quite tight and cramped to move around in. The breakfast was delicious, the wet and dry saunas were excellent, and the staff were warm, professional, and attentive. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, and the charm, service, and thoughtful amenities made it a memorable experience.

Our second visit in as many years to this fabulous hotel. We have stayed in the Christiaan Huygens room both times as we adore the views over the canal and the ambiance of the room. This time we stayed for our honeymoon and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extra special with personalised touches. The breakfast is also absolutely delicious. Our favourite hotel in the world and we look forward to returning soon.

We had a lovely weekend in Amsterdam at the Hotel Nobel. One of the most beautiful and unique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful historic building and interiors with a spectacular bed in my room. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. And the sauna and steam room in the basement was a brilliant resting place after a day out.

The Noblemen Hotel is housed in a beautifully restored canal building in Amsterdam, and the design is undeniably impressive. Our room, themed “Brothers’ Trip,” was particularly striking and added a lot of character to the stay.||The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A few practical aspects could be improved: the bed was quite high and required steps to get in and out, which may not suit everyone. Storage was somewhat limited, with no full-length wardrobe for hanging clothes, just a smaller wardrobe with drawers. The shower room was also on the compact side, with limited space.||Housekeeping didn’t happen automatically during our three-night stay, and we had to request fresh towels and replenished toiletries, which was a little disappointing for the price point.||As the hotel is in an old building, there is no double glazing, so some street noise is to be expected, light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Our first-floor room was above the main entrance, and with the window open, cigarette smoke from both guests and staff standing directly below came into the room. We also experienced noise throughout the night from guests walking around in the room above.||On a positive note, breakfast was delicious and served in the room each morning, with everything freshly prepared to order.||Overall, a unique and visually stunning hotel with attentive staff, though a few comfort and practicality details could be improved to better match the beautiful design.

We were stuck in Amsterdam for 10 days when KLM shut down all flights. We stayed at 6 hotels (including The Dylan and The Hoxton) and kept coming back to the Noblemen. It saved our trip and we have discussed flying back just for the opportunity to soak in the magnificent copper tub again. The staff were outstanding, the rooms are beautiful (both large and somehow cozy with the warm lighting and deeply colored walls), and the private use of the sauna downstairs made this by far the best value for money in Amsterdam. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

The Nobleman not only is located in the safe and quiet part of Amsterdam but the pure historic architecture and pure elegance of detail to each room is a 10 out of 10. ||The staff are fun and knowledgeable of all the beautiful city has to offer. ||I’d love for you to experience what I was able too.
