Great location, close to metro stations and within walking distance to cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Also walkable to the Opera, Galleries La Fayette and the Louvre/Tuilleries. Rooms were a bit on the smaller side but comfortable and has all the basic amenities you need. Overall, a great value hotel considering the location, and I’d definitely stay here when I’m back in Paris.

I had an awesome experience at this charming boutique hotel. The staff are just amazing and very courteous. They go out of their way to make us feel special and welcome. The room is cozy and nicely furnished with free water and snack tray plus drinks for purchase. ||The area is also very convenient with lots of restaurants and shops. Most importantly, it’s 2 blocks away from Polene store! ||Thank you Hotel Therese! Hope to stay at your hotel again in the future! : )

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were lovely and the staff were very helpful. We had breakfast one morning in the restaurant and the food was very good and the service was wonderful. The location was good for getting around the city. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming again and staying at Hotel Therese.

Exceptional stay in the heart of the city! The hotel is in a fantastic location, within walking distance to many major attractions, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially by Paris standards, and absolutely spotless. A special thanks to Ms. Veronica at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a great location.

Walking distance to all the touristy spots and very safe! Veronica, at the front desk, was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. She suggested spots to eat and even booked tickets for me. The room is a tad small (as to be expected in Europe), but clean.

My husband and I always stay at Hotel Therese when in Paris. The courteous staff are professional and helpful, the location is perfect and the hotel itself charming and comfortable. ||From the moment you are greeted at the front desk until you say au revoir, your needs are met.||It's our Parisian home.

Very nice and cozy boutique hotel in the center of the City. You can walk anywhere, from the Louvre right around the corner, to Le Marais, St. Germain or Eiffel and even Sacre Cour. It's really a walkable city and this location is perfection. People working here are amazing, always smile and are super pleasant. Downstairs breakfast buffet was very cute. The little nook with afternoon snacks had an inviting and warm vibe. Only slight negative was that the rooms were tight, sure everyone says rooms in Paris are small, but hotel's pictures look so nice we thought they were going to be an exception. Don't get that turn you away however, rooms and bathrooms were fine, clean and cozy for sure. After all, you're just there to rest, no need for spaciousness. I would go back any time, and would recommend it to anyone.

I have been a loyal guest of this hotel for several years, but sadly, my most recent stay has left me disappointed. While we booked two separate rooms for six days, the lack of clear communication regarding the bedroom sizes caused unnecessary confusion. The bathrooms required constant repairs, which added to the frustration.||||Breakfast service was particularly disheartening; the staff was unfriendly and unwilling to assist with even basic requests like providing water or a fork. Additionally, housekeeping failed to replenish coffee and water daily, which is a basic expectation.||||The check-out process was chaotic, with no ability to provide a final invoice or notification of the total, which was both frustrating and unprofessional.||||It pains me to say that the hotel seems to have lost its boutique charm and magic. What was once a delightful experience now feels poorly managed and far from the standards I once loved.

Yelp
This hotel, located in 1st arr., was selected for its location, first and foremost, and it did not disappoint from this perspective. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had a decent selection, although you might be better off just grabbing coffee and food at one of the multiple places around the corner from the hotel. Now, there were a few things that were less than ideal: 1/ the water pressure in the sink faucet was finicky at best, and the pressure kept dying out a few seconds after you turned it on (luckily, the shower offered a stable if not great water pressure), 2/ the towels, robe and such could use an update, but this can be said about the furniture and carpet too. Overall, while this hotel is positioned as a 4-star boutique hotel, it could use a refresh to offer a corresponding level of comfort or quality of accommodations.

Yelp
We loved this boutique hotel! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We felt safe, the rooms were clean and the location was great to a ton of attractions for those who are visiting Paris for the first time. We were less than a 10 minute walk from the Louvre and there were tons of cafes nearby. They had tea and snacks out every afternoon for us to enjoy and there was a nice room in the front to hang out in. They also put our bags in their luggage room the day we checked out since our train wasn't leaving until later that afternoon. It's worth noting that this is a very classic European style hotel room so the room and bathroom were small but the beds were comfortable and we got great sleep while we were there. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I had reservations for this hotel, so looking forward to it. Unfortunately for me and my cousin Joe who had his own room my brother Michael died on Oct 21st the day we were leaving for London Rome and Paris. My cousin got in touch with Virgin BA and hotels in both cities. We were given full refunds. We offered my brothers death certificate as proof. This business has turned us down between them and Expedia it has been a nightmare. No good faith. Even death apparently is a good enough reason to cancel because they will not take care of you. I'm sorry they are choosing to deal with this situation as they are. Yolanda Quintero & Joe Armendariz

Yelp
Only a few hours at the hotel but already wish I could have spent the last seven days here. Exceptional staff, beautiful accommodations and lovely area of Paris. This will definitely be a go to decision in the future.

Yelp
We were so lucky to find this hotel last minute for our stay in Paris! It was in a perfect location, very central and we could walk to everything we wanted to see! It is an adorable hotel, with the nicest staff who were so accommodating, attentive and helpful. The reviews are right that the rooms are a little small, but that's how all the hotels in Paris are -- you won't find anything better anywhere else. The bathroom was nice as well and with the wardrobe and all of the shelves and storage areas, we were not cramped for space at all. Such a cute boutique hotel, I would recommend to anyone! It was perfect. We could not have asked for anything better.

Yelp
This was my first and my fiancee's third trip to Paris. Our trip was over Christmas and we were anticipating seeing Paris in all her splendor. Both of us are retired and wanted a hotel that was centrally located to minimize walking. I did a bit of research and found Hotel Therese. The location was perfect, the price was within our budget, and we just had a good feeling about this boutique hotel. We could not have selected a more comfortable and gracious place to stay. The hotel is a short walk from the Louvre, the Opera House, Eglise Saint Roch(Christmas Mass), Le Royal Opera restaurant(delicious French onion soup), and the Monoprix market(good wine selection). A marvelous Korean restaurant, JanTchi, was just across the street(they have a Michelin Star). Shopping was almost too accessible with Rue Saint-Honore only blocks away(Channel, Dior, Hermes,...). A slightly longer walk over the Seine will find you at Notre Dame(the front façade is still intact). We walked extensively at all hours of the day and night and always felt safe. In fact, we met a young lady named Layla at 11:00 pm and talked with her for over 30 minutes about her life in Paris. Upon entering the front door of the hotel we were greeted warmly by Said, the concierge, who assisted in our check-in. The elevator quickly took us to our fourth floor room. The room, "Tradition", was cozy but large enough to meet our needs. The room was spotless, the bed was just right(not too firm/not too soft), and the bath had plenty of hot water. The towels and linen were luxurious and plentiful. We overlooked the courtyard but rooms with a street view are available. The room was soundproof as we heard no noises at night. Their staff is fluent in English(our skills in French are rudimentary). The manager, Fanny, was extremely helpful and responsive in making our reservations online from Tucson, AZ. The front desk personnel, especially Viviana, were helpful in guiding us to various sights and procuring discounted tickets to attractions. A quick story, on the first night I took our rental car to a parking garage and got lost walking back to the hotel(my phone died, Paris streets are winding, it was late at night, I took the wrong turn...). It should have been a 5 minute walk, so after 45 minutes Said was very concerned and was ready to call out the gendarmes. [Note: If you need to park a car, use Parking Public le Louvre and reserve on line]. The breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. The scrambled eggs were special as were all the varieties of breads offered. We were late risers so we looked forward to a 9:30 am breakfast each morning. The other guests we met in the restaurant were from all over the world, most return customers. The lobby is altogether inviting with two sitting areas. Afternoon refreshments are served. A great place to watch the world go by and meet fellow travelers. We can't say enough nice things about our stay at Hotel Therese. We highly recommend the hotel and when back in Paris we will stay there again.

Yelp
Hotel Therese is an absolute gem. Each person on staff I interacted with was not just pleasant but went out of their way to make sure my experience was all it could be. They have a limited room service menu, and I sample all three of the main courses. My least favorite was the duo of prawns and scallops, this was not on par with their other two items, braised lamb and veal. Both of those are wonderful. The rooms are of course small and the water in my cramped shower was a bit temperamental, this is Paris though and many of these hotels have similar problems. The size of the shower and slight fluctuations in water temperature neither caused a reduction in my experience nor were problematic in any way. They have a lovely tea from 4 to 7, a modern and cheerful sitting room, a modest but well stocked mini bar and new safes in each room. Really a great find very reasonable. The staff is superb.

Yelp
This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Not because of the facilities - there is no gym, no swimming pool, the place to have breakfast is a bit pokey - but because of how I felt when I was there. As soon as you walk in from the little street off one of the main streets, Avenue de l'Opera, you are greeted by the open space of the lobby. None of this over-dressed or bland decoration that offends no-one but no-one remembers...this is home, this is comfortable, this is 'comfortably lit' and instantly made we want to slump into one of the mish-mash of chairs, grab a book, stick on my slippers and just relax (I didn't do that as Parisians can be a bit judgmental and was afraid of being kicked out of what I had already appropriated as 'home'!). The reception staff were wonderful and provided that pearl, that ever-elusive Parisian trait: Service. What a refreshing change, I was there, I was paying money and the staff were helpful, smiley, busy but attentive, what a great combination it was/is. My room, number 505 if anyone is interested, was small but perfectly formed, the Kylie Minogue of hotel rooms. Again, not over-bearing deco an it just felt so warm. Of course I had a bath that was fit only for a 7 year old child, but I didn't expect any less, I was in the eaves of a boutique hotel in Paris! Overall, I felt good here, the prices are not over the top, the service is great and the night porter even greeted me with a smile as I woke him from his sleep to let me in at 2am - I promise, this ACTUALLY happened! In Paris! :)

Yelp
We had a one night stopover in Paris to visit the Louvre the following day. Location was excellent for this reason but there are so many other things to see and do in this area as well. We arrived early but our room was ready so we were able to drop our luggage and go explore for the rest of the day. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The following day, we were able to check out and leave our luggage at the hotel while we spent almost the entire day at the Louvre which was only a 5-10 minute walk away. Lovely rooms, would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
This hotel is wonderful, a true gem. It's in a perfect location a few minutes walk from the Louvre, 1 metro stop from L'Opera Garnier, and situated near 2 very convenient metro lines. The hotel is small, but lovely and beautifully decorated. The rooms are cozy with every amenity you'll need. The service at this hotel is the best I've ever encountered. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant. I booked through Tablet.com, so we were given some perks such as a small free breakfast and wine. Highly recommend staying here.

Yelp
Wonderful location, quaint hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted by our names as we walked in ; like friends waiting for us. Had 'little prince' toiletries as we traveled with our 8 y/o, lovely touch. Walked to many locations and also very close to public transport. Nice evening tea and breakfast. Will come back for sure.

Yelp
A wonderful ten days in this hotel. Very comfortable beds and enough room in the premier rooms. You can walk anywhere from this central location. The staff is very welcoming and will take care of your ticketing and transportation needs. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I stayed with my 2 nieces for 7 nights at the Hotel Therese. We could not have been happier. We stayed in one of the larger rooms on the 5th floor, since there were 3 of us which had one large comfortable bed and a queen size pullout sofa. Our bathroom was spacious. The extra amenities are a plus, with a large flat screen tv with ipod docking, plush robes & slippers, stocked mini bar, free wifi, and free continental breakfast which you can eat in their breakfast room or have delivered to your room. The front desk clerk and concierge were all friendly and accomodating. The location is in a safe area and is within walking distance to the Louvre.

Yelp
I usually stay here when I'm in Paris because it's on a quiet street and very centrally located. The staff is very nice and the rooms are a good size. It's really nice that the hotel is so close to Palais Royal. This is a great park, especially in the morning, I pick up a croissant at the bakery on the way over.

Yelp
This place was wonderful. Great location, clean rooms, safe area, helpful front-desk, and authentically French. Amazing pastry shops, cafes, grocery stores, and bistros within 5 minutes walking. Great location for seeing Paris by foot; you can walk pretty much anywhere. Free wifi. In-room safe. Great room-service for your morning coffee! Air conditioning works. Clean bathrooms. Two twin beds side-to-side makes a king (perfect for couples!). Beds were very comfortable. I truly had a great experience staying here, and will be staying here every time I visit Paris!
