Hotel Thule

Posh location, standard fare. I visited for an official meeting. The setting is similar to River Crossing (high vantage point) but located in the upscale Klein Windhoek area. It seems popular for workshops. The breakfast and coffee were fine, but nothing to write home about.

The place is pretty old, needs renovation. Not one smallest point worthwhile mentioning on the positive side. The hotel is focussing on large groups, individual guests just do not count. The breakfast as well: poor average, Unfriendly service. The food in the restaurant is O.K., the lasagna was tasty. And the view from the terrace is phantastic.

We had to change our plans and spend a night in Wi dhoek and found this gem of a hotel. Perched on a high know with splendid views, the Thune is a converted mansion. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and professional. Especially the Manager. The restaurant has outside and inside seating with great views. The meals were very good. A great value

I booked 4 nights at Hotel Thule to give myself time to reset after a busy time in South Africa. The hotel location was great with a nice city view from many of the rooms. The room was very large, the shower was great and they area felt very safe. The breakfast included made to order eggs as well as the normal meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit and bread. I appreciated the fact that breakfast ran from 6:30 to 10:00. I ate at the restaurant each night. The menu is short but offered good variety and well prepared food. It was easy to book rides into town through the LEFA app. Also was a good location for pick for the city tour. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Any time I needed something, there was someone there to help.

The location and the view is incredible. The bedroom was a bit old fashion, confortable and clean. ||I mentionned an issue to the reception officer and she solved it immediately. Even the manager, came to apologise genuinely. I appreciated the courtesy of all of them. ||Diner was excellent also.

Amazing little hidden gem Beers are probably the coldest in Nam...food is exceptional(german cuisine) and staff friendly. Can recommend

Fantastic location which is easy to find due to proper sign guidance. Stunning view of the city. Very friendly, attentive and cooperative personnel. Tasty food and a decent selection of popular beverages. Great experience esp at night!

Waiters really need to be more attentive to time. One shouldn’t have to constantly call the waiter to take an order, to ask for something etc. failed instructions on request. I genuinely enjoy this place but what’s it worth if service is prioritized to either regulars or tourists only, while no consistency across the board as a standard. Or only certain waiters who actually understands what customer service is. I waisted my entire lunch ending up leaving with nothing.
