Hotel Tibet

Beautiful hotel with a Tibetan vibe. I stayed there for about 2 weeks off and on, and it became my home away from home. The staff are so kind and welcoming, the service was attentive and the food delicious. The rooms were clean and the hotel felt very safe. There is a lovely terrace on the roof where I could dine or sip a lovely mint lemonade. When I return to Nepal I will always stay there.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this amazing hotel. The staff is very nice and caring. The rooms are big and comfortable, very clean and nice. The area is calm and quiet, but 15 minutes walk from the center, which is very convenient. When I come back to Kathmandu, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

It was my first ever visit to beautiful Nepal. Stayed at Hotel Tibet. I highly recommend this hotel for the remarkable service, food and rooms. I would extend my Thanks to entire team specially Chef Sher and kavi F&b manager, along with their team. Such accommodating nature, and always their to greet and help/ assist. I highly appreciate their hospitality and would certainly look forward for another trip to Nepal and that too in HOTEL TIBET.

I visited Tibet hotel twice during May 2025. One before my trek to Anapurna base camp and also on my way back. Twice , my experience was amazing. Great location. Great rooms… clean and spacious but most importantly was the hospitality. The team was super nice , generous and welcoming. I highly recommend.

A Warm and Welcoming Oasis in Kathmandu||Hotel Tibet in Lazimpat is a true haven — peaceful, charming, and exceptionally welcoming. The staff are outstanding: warm, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, creating a sense of home from the moment you arrive. Their attention to detail and personal touch make all the difference. The food is another highlight — consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. This is the kind of place you look forward to returning to at the end of the day. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Kathmandu.

Hotel Tibet management was responsive and guests-oriented in answering all reservation and logistics questions before my arrival.||The décor of the hotel was very Tibet-oriented with burgundy walls and Thangka decorative arts.||The room was very nice and comfortable with a window facing outside for the street view. It was well- furnished with bottled water, coffee, tea, and bathroom amenities. The complimentary breakfast’s menu was a combination of both western and Nepali food which offered guests dining options.||The evening dining experience at the top floor terrace of Hotel Tibet was memorable with a panoramic view of Kathmandu. The Nepali and Tibetan dinner sets were delicious to get a taste of local authentic cuisine!||Hotel Tibet is located in an alley but it is within walking distance to several hotels and the main street for further dining and shopping options.||The entire team at Hotel Tibet made me feel at home whatever and whenever I needed assistance during my stay. I would love to stay at Hotel Tibet again on my next visit.

Very clean throughout, a comfortable room with a cushy bed, and a great buffet menu. Staff are very friendly and accommodating at any time. Stores and restaurants are within a few minutes walk, and Thamel Market is in walking distance.
