Hôtel Tigmiza Marrakech

We had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel near Marrakesh. The front desk staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the entire property felt clean, quiet, and well maintained. The swimming pools are nicely designed — not very large, but because the hotel itself is relatively small, it never felt crowded or noisy. The food in general was good, with a decent variety and presentation. However, there are a few points to consider: The hotel is located a bit outside the city, so expect to pay around 150 MAD for a one-way taxi trip to or from the city center. The Moroccan evening was a nice idea and well organized, but the main course was served quite late (around 10 p.m.) and a bit cold — not ideal for families with kids. Food and drinks are quite expensive; while this may be typical for hotels, plan for about 250–300 MAD per person if you dine in. Room cleaning is generally fine, but the timing is inconsistent — some days early, other days quite late. The heated pool is a nice feature, but the opening and closing hours appear somewhat random. When booking excursions through the hotel, we were initially told we could pay at any time before checkout. However, one staff member at reception seemed unusually insistent on immediate payment whenever we passed by. While I understand this might relate to not having left a deposit, it would be better if such policies were clearly explained from the start to avoid confusion. Despite these issues, the hotel provides a good overall experience, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax away from the city’s bustle. I would recommend it, as long as you’re aware of and comfortable with the few downsides mentioned.

Tigmiza is a true oasis in every sense of the word. Nestled quietly away from the bustle of Marrakech, it feels like stepping into another world — one filled with calm, lush greenery, and the soothing sound of water running through beautiful courtyards. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was incredible. Every staff member was genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to help. The manager, Ousama, deserves a special mention — he made us feel as though we were the only guests at the hotel, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The food was unforgettable, especially the beef tagine, which was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dining here felt like an experience — surrounded by candlelight, Moroccan architecture, and warm smiles. The entire property feels like the realized dream of Liet-Kynes from Dune — a lush, water-filled sanctuary brought to life in the middle of the desert. Between the palm-lined pool, the terracotta arches, and the intimate walkways through gardens, every corner feels designed for peace and reflection. If you’re looking for luxury wrapped in authenticity, with service that feels personal and heartfelt, Tigmiza is where you’ll find it.

Had some concerns about the fact that it is 20 min outside the center but after arriving I can only say that this is definitely not a problem. It’s such amazing boutique hotel and you really need the tranquility offered when back from the city. After all you only go once in the morning and once in the evening to the center. Shuttle bus is available but a taxi is not more than 100 MAD. The rooms and public areas are spotless, the one bedroom villa is huge and definitely worth the spending. It has been a great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought through to ensure comfort and quality. The atmosphere was welcoming, the rooms were beautifully maintained, and the service was warm and professional throughout. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast — truly exceptional, both in variety and taste. Every dish was fresh, well presented, and full of flavor, making mornings an absolute delight. My wife and I recently stayed at Tigmiza for a joint birthday celebration, booking a private pool villa. The property is tranquil and well-maintained, located conveniently just outside the walls of the Marrakesh Medina.||The hotel's limited capacity fosters an exclusive and personal atmosphere. This intimate scale effectively highlights the property's grounds and architecture. The service was of a high standard; upon arrival, our villa was prepared with flowers and champagne for the occasion. The staff were consistently attentive yet unobtrusive throughout our stay.||A significant advantage of Tigmiza is its location. Situated outside the city, it offers a quiet environment away from the high activity of the Medina, while its proximity allows for convenient access to the city's attractions. This provides a desirable balance for travelers.||I would recommend Tigmiza to adult travelers seeking high-end accommodations that offer both a peaceful setting and convenient city access. It was a suitable and impressive venue for our celebration.

An utterly wonderful hotel. Attentive and discrete staff. Fabulous food. Amazing gardens, swimming pools and decor. |We were fortunate to be upgraded from our more than incredible villa - to the Royale Suite. This blew our boys away and gave them an opportunity to be princes. We can’t recommend Tigmiza Marrakech more. Thank you Oussama for looking after us. Morocco will stay in our hearts.

Another wonderful stay at the Tigmiza… we were here in March and loved it so much we returned… the rooms are beautiful but the villas are out of this world… the staff are delightful… and I’ve just had the most AMAZING massage with Khadija (I hope I’ve spelt that right)… I had a massage with her on my last visit and just had to have one this time … the best massage ever… |We look forward to our next visit and my next massage
