Beautiful setting in a picturesque town. The rooms are lovely. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. We asked for some fresh towels but didn't get them, so that was unfortunate but no big deal. restaurant is closed for dinner during the off season. Bar food can be had midweek at 7pm at Casa Ceto next door, along with all the locals. Beach is a 10-15 min walk. Breakfast buffet was 11 EU and was expansive, with rolls, cheeses, meats, cereals, fresh juices and to-order eggs and bacon.

We cut our holiday short. We searched on booking.com for an air conditioned room with room service, both were really important to us because we have a 1 year old. We ended up booking an apartment at this hotel, the apartments do not have air con or room service, but booking.com does not filter these out. When we brought up these issues with the manager initially he dealt with it well, but he ended up shouting in my face, interrupting my wife as she tried to explain the situation and just walking away from us when we tried to speak with him. We no longer felt comfortable staying at this location after the aggression from the manager, he really should not be working in customer service full stop, never mind at a 4 star hotel. So if you have no problems during your stay I am sure this is an okay place to stay, but if you have any issues, good luck! The staff have clearly not had the training they need to deal with problems in a respectful and non confrontational manner. Breakfast was also terrible quality.

Super comfortable and modern hotel about 10 minutes by car from Unquera. Not super convenient for Camino walkers but no big deal if taxi service is arranged. The rooms are fantastic and there is a nice bar and simple restaurant on premise. Several other bars are scattered throughout town. This was a welcome surprise after several mediocre hotel experiences.

Really enjoyed our stay. Nice, clean good sized room. Small kitchen definitely came in handy. Some nice places to eat nearby.

We stayed for just one night. The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so it's very quiet there, but you can hear the neighbors next door. The hotel furnishings look new and well thought through. They have a nice outside terrace, and the onsite restaurant is nicely set up and decorated, but the menu is very much limited. Dinner: few starters, 2 salads and 2 burgers 😱 if you don't want junk, there's not much of a choice. Breakfast was limited as well. But the lady in the restaurant was sweet and polite. The exterior of the hotel is great, they even have a lounge room with small pool table. But the interior of the rooms lacked fulfillment, not very cozy, somewhat empty (we stayed in junior suite).

Pros: a spacious room with tasteful furnishings throughout, both indoors and out. We really appreciate all the little touches that add to the comfort and ambience. Oco-frendly and bike friendly accommodation. Free parking around the building, but the hotel also has a pay underground garage. Breakfast menu with a choice of small head portions, additional courses available for an extra charge. Dinner is also delicious and of good quality! There is also a popular restaurant across the road. Cons: small portions of food. Our most demanding accommodation in this price range.
