Hotel Tirol en Bariloche

Great location and stunning views, but the WiFi is a major disappointment. It was extremely slow and unreliable, which made it frustrating to use for even basic tasks. I was tempted to give 3 stars because of this, but the receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, which made my stay much better. The owner really needs to invest in a better internet connection—this would make a huge difference. Otherwise, it’s a good hotel with lots of potential.

Perfect location to walk around in Bariloche or to take the bus to Circuito Chico. Value for money is exzellent. Very friendly service, rooms with a great lake view, breakfast is very good. There is only one thing that could be improved: a double bed with one mattress would be more comfortable than with two mattress.

If you are a person who pursues the ultimate value for money like me, this hotel is definitely the best and only choice in Bariloche. Clean and large rooms, the rooms are very new as if they were newly renovated, the lake view rooms have beautiful scenery, good soundproofing, suitable prices, excellent location (only 2 minutes walk to Centro Cívico), free parking, warm service, if I really want to pick out some shortcomings, it's just that the breakfast variety is small and the coffee is average. No doubt, this is the hotel I must choose when I come to Bariloche again.

Hotel staff is helpful and friendly, breakfast is delicious. Worth having a room with a view of the lake. The hotel was situated in a good location to town and to the lake. Restaurants and breweries nearby. Comfortable rooms. The late check out is super!

Five stars for an older three-star hotel? Yes! My wife and I purposefully seek out places to stay on our trips that make us feel like we are truly experiencing the country we are visiting. We just returned from an eight night stay at Hotel Tirol. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Without question, we would return.||The location of Hotel Tirol is amazing. We were assigned a balcony room on the rear of the hotel, overlooking Nahuel Huapi and the snowcapped mountains of Patagonia...breathtaking. The hotel is about 100 yards away from Civico Centro, the visitors center, and El Mitre Street with all its shops. Wonderful restaurants (Alberto, Manush, etc.) are within easy walking distance. ||The entire hotel, and our room included, was spotless. When changing towels, the cleaning crew actually clean the entire room just as though they we cleaning for a new guest. The room included a great king-size mattress that allowed us to sleep as though we were at home. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, a good shower, and a bidet. The room also had an electircal outlet that accepted our U.S. two-prong plug-ins. The room proved very comfortable...new furniture would not have made it any more comfortable for us. ||The front desk is amazing. All of the people that we encountered there were patient, cheerful, helpful. We relied on them for money exchange, bottled water, directions, and even speaking for us on the telephone with Spanish speakers. We give a special thank you to Nariana. She was absolutely wonderful...when you come to her with a question or need, her focus is on you. Always so welcoming, professional and cheerful!||Breakfast is good. The ladies that handle the dining room are constantly bringing out new items or replenishing other items, as well as cleaning and straightening. We were always fortified for our morning adventures.||When you return from an outing, there is always a warm hello from the desk staff, housekeeping, and even the owner who is routinely on premises. We felt so welcome and secure.||If you are like us, and seek out such hotels, you cannot go wrong with Hotel Tirol.

Everything about this place is great but the staff are really exceptional, thank you for a wonderful stay! Also the breakfast is top notch for a hotel at this price

We enjoyed our time at the hotel overall. One thing to note is that the hotel does not allow outside food, and there is no eating in the rooms. Most of the staff was very friendly. A negative point was breakfast often running out of items, with no plans to replenish them, unless asked specifically.

The hotel is located in a great location, close to main square, shopping area and many restaurants and of course ubiquitous chocolate shops. The staff are very helpful and communicate promptly via email etc. parking available on site. The breakfast options are varied and it is plentiful. The hotel and rooms are very tired and in need of an upgrade but it is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Rooms at the back face the lake and have a great view.
