Great stay—friendly staff, comfy room, and fair price Review: I recently stayed at Tokyo Palace and had an overall wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Room & Comfort My room was well-appointed, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was really comfortable, the linens were crisp, and all the amenities were thoughtfully arranged—every detail made the space feel like a home away from home. Service & Staff The team went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, offering helpful local tips and assistance whenever needed . Their friendly and attentive service truly stood out. Value for Money Considering the quality of the room and level of service, the price was very reasonable and represented excellent value—affordable without compromising quality .

I had a spacious room with balcony and bathtub. Unfortunately, there was no stopper to use the bathtub. Apparently owner married with a Japanese lady and lived in Tokyo for over 25 years. He must have brought the hospitality to Jaisalmer. The service level here is top notch in Indian standards. Mr Nanga, the in charge of the hotel was very kind and helpful. He offered discount during low seasons on room and desert tour. Booked a desert overnight tour through the reception. It was such an experience. However, they charged me extra IR/350 for tent. In fact, tent didn’t exist. I didn’t bother to ask for refund since the tour was great. After the tour, hotel staffs arranged shower at dorm room. On top of everything else, they sent a staff to walk me to the 4 mins way bus stop. Rooftop restaurant had a fantastic view of the fort, food was good and big in portion.

I stayed at Hotel Tokyo Palace for eight days in late April 2025. The staff were friendly and attentive, and arranged a tour of Jaisalmer Fort for us with a great guide. My room and the hotel was clean; the pool water was sparkling clean. The thick stone walls kept my room cool during the heat of the day, even when I had been out with the airconditioning off. Jaisalmer Fort is walking distance away and the view of it from the rooftop restaurant is spectacular. Thank you to Saki and all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Hotel location is good & close to the fort. But hotel services are not good. Stayed for a night in this hotel but TV is not working in room, call to the reception 3 times for that but didn't picked up & get solution. In bathroom flush tank is not working properly. Staff is only busy to give good service to foreign people. I think better hotel will get in the price that this hotel charged.

The care taker Mr. Saqeel, helped us a lot during our stay to his level best. He helped us with our early checkout and took us to the station without any cost. The staying experience was excellent and the staff was polite and nice.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering the perfect place to relax after exploring the golden city. One of the best parts of our trip was the desert safari that the hotel recommended and arranged for us. It was well-organized, safe, and full of unforgettable memories — from dune bashing to the serene desert sunset. We’re so glad we trusted their suggestion! We highly recommend Hotel Tokyo Palace to anyone visiting Jaisalmer. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s an experience in itself. Huge thanks to the entire team for their incredible service and kindness. We can’t wait to return!

Good hotel, they have cold swimming pool to fresh up in hot weather. Beautiful rooms, ac, comfy beds. I took a trip to the desert with camel riding, and night. It was one of the best adventure iny life. You sleep under the stars. The night was not cold. No mosquitos. The food was delicious and deserts guys was super friendly. I gave them tips, but another tourists didn't.( If you're a tourist, give them a little tips, they are really friendly and kind, make them happy also, you will not lose a lot from this. So I'm excited.
