Hotel Topazz Lamee

We stayed in the penthouse at Hotel Topazz Lamee and had a wonderful experience. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with a wraparound balcony on two sides that offered plenty of seating and views in every direction. Floor-to-ceiling windows ran along those same two sides, filling the space with light, but heavy curtains allowed for complete privacy whenever needed.||Inside, the suite was thoughtfully laid out: a separate shower and tub, a separate toilet room with its own sink, and even a walk-in closet, which made unpacking and settling in easy.||Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. Guests can order from the menu or enjoy the buffet. My wife especially enjoyed the made-to-order eggs and pancakes, while I loved the salmon, cheeses, and fresh breads from the buffet.||The staff made the stay even more enjoyable. They were warm, attentive, and consistently friendly — always greeting us and wishing us a good day.||Overall, the penthouse at Hotel Topazz Lamee was a fantastic choice. Between the comfort of the room, the quality of the breakfast, and the exceptional service, we truly enjoyed our stay.

very mixed feelings about this hotel, I think its a little strange that it is between two buildings but that's fine. breakfast was quiet but quite bland and did not change. the day we arrived we had 3 members of staff walk into our room without even knocking - we did not check in at all early! we did quite like the hotels rooftop bar and the location was great for sightseeing. lots of nice bars and restaurants around. not sure if I would stay again.

A great hotel. Centrally located so easy walking distance to all the attractions. Staff are brilliant. Coffee making in room with pods but no kettle. Asked for one and delivered in minutes along with larger mugs for the wife’s green tea. Breakfast is fantastic with a great range of continental and additional hot offerings. The breakfast staff were attentive and helpful. Service was great. Also good to have the sister hotel Lamee across the road with its rooftop bar. Amazing views and great cocktails but you need to book which reception will do for you. Yes the hotel is a little on the expensive side but well worth it for its location, quality rooms and most of all it’s fantastic staff.

Unfortunately, our entire experience at Hotel Topazz was a disappointment, from the moment we arrived until the early morning checkout.||I’ll start by saying that I have Expedia Platinum status, and it’s usually nice to receive some recognition or benefits — but not here. We arrived at 2:00 PM, and the manager at reception was unfriendly and completely unhelpful. Without even checking the system, he informed me that rooms would only be available after 3:00 PM and that no upgrades were possible because the hotel was fully booked. Ironically, I checked online right away — plenty of rooms were still available. So he was simply not telling the truth. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and he refused.||One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was the beautiful rooftop terrace shown in the photos — I imagined relaxing there while enjoying Vienna. But here’s the shocker: there is no rooftop terrace at all. The terrace you see in the pictures on Expedia and other sites is actually located in a different building across the street, which no longer belongs to the hotel. It’s now a bar with a completely different interior and concept. I couldn’t believe the level of misrepresentation.||The room itself was small, worn, and outdated. Yes, the round windows are unique, but that’s about it. I truly don’t understand the high ratings this hotel gets — to me, it felt like a scam and a huge letdown.||We checked out around 5:00 AM and — surprise — there was nobody at reception at all. The entrance was wide open, and you could walk in or out freely. It didn’t feel secure or professional.||Overall, this place feels like the faded remains of what may have once been a nice boutique hotel. Sadly, I cannot recommend it — especially not for guests expecting honesty, comfort, or even basic service.

Excellent hotel & service and with the perfect location for all sightseeing adventures. We stayed for 3 nights in T81 which was a lovely room, spotlessly clean & all required amenities. Having forgot travel adapter plugs reception were even kind enough to provide some too. We would highly recommend this hotel & testing out the rooftop bar at Lamee. Someday we hope to return as the city of Vienna was superb & thoroughly enjoyed!

What a fabulous stay! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was wonderful and so quiet considering we were in the heart of the city. A beautiful breakfast (highly recommend you do the 'breakfast included' option when booking). Our stay was fantastic...could not have been better!

The hotel's central location is a definite advantage. Its proximity to key attractions makes it very convenient for exploring Vienna, saving time on travel and making the city easily accessible. Overall, the Hotel Topazz Lamee offers a comfortable and convenient base for visiting Vienna, with commendable service and a standout rooftop bar. It is certainly a hotel worth considering for your trip.

If we could only give the service 10 stars. The front desk managers on every shift were amazingly helpful, joyful and assisted us with everything needed or needed to know. The location was simply perfect, the rooms were clean and quiet, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but had coffee every morning at the restaurant and it looked tasty. From start to the end we had an amazing experience. Many thanks to all the stuff!
