Hotel Toural

The hotel is very well located to get to know Guimarães on foot. There is a lack of identification on the street to find the place, if you go by car there is parking in the square in front. There are shops and restaurants near the hotel. |The hotel staff is very helpful, friendly and the check in was very fast.|The rooms and toilet are large, comfortable bed, with tv, and clean. |In my opinion, for a 4-star hotel there is a lack of modernization of the furniture and carpets (some already with stains). |A 4-star hotel could put some complimentary water in the room and the bathtub with a curtain no longer makes sense.|Breakfast is served at the table but it is very good and with several options, orange juice, eggs, yogurts, fruit, croissants, bread, espresso, etc. all with quality. |All in all, it was a good stay.

Everything is perfect. Great location in the Center of historical Guimeres. Walking distance to all historical sites. Many choices of restaurants and pubs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good room overlooking the Toural square. Old fashioned full service breakfast. Beautiful decor. Easy parking nearby.

Their service is very good, very clean hotel. Also, they don’t have an open buffet breakfast but they do have the best staff to serve an excellent quality breakfast! The only complaint I have, would be the Google map location is signed wrongly. So please pay attention to the picture I’m attaching here ;). That it’s the correct location.

This hotel was perfectly situated and lovely as well. Though an old building it is modern inside and very comfortable. The staff were exceptional - going above and beyond with help and very friendly. It was ideal for my mother who has accessibility needs as there is a lift. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. It is close to sight seeing and restaurants cafes and bars

If you expect to arrive in a 4 stars hotel it's not the case. Hotel and rooms should be refurbished. Wall view of the rooms, super noisy, you can exactly understand what your neighbour is doing. Not even easy to find as the name is on the main square on another building while the hotel is on the back. On the other hand good breakfast served at the table.

The nicest staff that you can encounter. Location fantastic. Everything very good. But the warmth and the smiles of all the staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the bar to housekeeping is exceptional. Made it sooo lovely to be in the hotel.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the historic centre. Although the hotel in general and the rooms are good, they have one big advantage that you see less and less: service from heart! The full team really care about you and provide an excellent and personal service. Breakfast for example is served on the table with real fresh products, no bulk products on a buffet as you see in a lot of hotels. I really enjoyed my visit and feeling a valued guest. Many other 3 or 4 star hotels can learn a lot here what service means. I can only highly recommend when you are in the area of Guimaraes.

Had great overnight stay here. Exceptional served breakfast. For someone who has to manage a gluten free diet, the homemade bread and cake for breakfast were amazing! Thank you for such lovely stay, friendly staff, so welcoming!!
