Cute boutique hotel, close to the center of town, easy access on foot to many Bologna landmarks, nice neighborhood too. The hotel is nice, quiet, clean and staff is very courteous. The terrace on top alone is worth staying at the hotel to enjoy the view of the rooftop with a glass of prossecco. A very nice breakfast is offered with numerous choices (and dinner we did not try). Definite advantage the availability of parking, if you have a car. Only disadvantage is that most rooms have no real view, but this is narrow-streeted Bologna for you!

This hotel is very well located and on a quiet street. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Mauritzio, who set the tone for our very pleasant stay. He was warm and super helpful, mapping out places for us to visit, and recommending places to eat. He was the nicest and most helpful hotel concierge we encountered in all of Italy. |We stayed in room 438, which was clean, spacious, and had a little balcony to sit out on and admire the view. Towels and lotions, shampoo, etc. were all available in the room. The bed was comfortable.|Breakfast was very good, with many choices, and cappuccinos were available if asked for. |We were very happy that we chose this hotel, and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights on a recent trip to Bologna. Firstly, Bologna is a beautiful place to visit and very convenient if like ourselves, you want to visit Milan and Florence. The high speed rail links are outstanding, especially if you are more accustomed to the UK rail network. This hotel is fabulous, somewhat discreet in its location, yet convenient for everything. Its boutique style provides a personal and welcoming experience with attentive and friendly service. The staff were always pleasant and eager to help. We were celebrating a special birthday so selected a suite, which was on the expensive side, but worth the experience with its long balcony and charming views over the roof tops of Bologna. The room was large, spotlessly clean with 3 large double windows all opening onto the balcony. The rooftop bar was one of those things you have to do, just to say you have done it, however Bologna offers a myriad of streets with countless places to eat and drink, with several restaurants and bars in relatively close proximity to the hotel. A definite hotel choice if you want a special stay in Bologna.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Touring in Bologna. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location is perfect — close to the city center, yet quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options and great coffee. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Touring is a excellent hotel that is perfectly placed in the centre of Bologna. The staff were attentive, and went out of the way to help us book different activities. Special thanks to Mauricio for his service that was above and beyond. The rooms were modern, spacious, and well designed. The rooftop terrace offers great views across Bologna, and the location is perfectly placed, a five minute stroll through beautiful streets to the Piazza maggiore. We had a wonderful time and would like to thank the Hotel Touring Team for their service. Highly reccomended.

The location was perfect - a quiet side street but an easy, pleasant walk to the Piazza Maggiore. The hotel is small but very well kept and everything - rooms, public spaces and the roof terrace was spotless and fresh. Breakfast offerings were good. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We paid extra for a balcony but it was so small - and had two AC units taking up space too - that I wouldn't have bothered to book a balcony room had known how tiny it was. The roof terrace has a wonderful view but rather a confusing payment scheme and the food on offer up there was only 'OK'. Personally I found the pillow and mattress in our room rather too firm but my husband was happy with the comfort level. Overall, we loved Bologna and would certainly recommend the Hotel Touring for its location and lovely staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Touring and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Location: The hotel is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. Driving in was straightforward, with parking available right outside for loading and unloading luggage. The hotel also offers convenient parking nearby at €35 per night. Staff & Service: The staff were truly lovely – friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating. It was a pleasure to be greeted warmly every time we passed reception. The breakfast team was also very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooftop staff were not quite as friendly or helpful, but this did not detract from the overall high standard of service we experienced throughout our stay. Rooms: Our room was spacious and well-equipped, offering everything expected from a 4-star hotel. The bedding was very comfortable, with high-quality, clean linens. The bathroom was impressively large and well maintained, adding to the overall comfort. Communal Areas & Terrace: The communal areas were stylish and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The 5th-floor terrace was a highlight, offering stunning views, especially at sunset. It’s clearly a popular spot for special occasions, though guests should be aware there is a minimum spend requirement even for those staying at the hotel. Overall: Hotel Touring offers an excellent combination of location, comfort, and service. While there were minor areas for improvement, our experience was overwhelmingly positive, and we would happily return.

If you are planning a trip to Bologna, you must consider the Hotel Touring. Located in the heart of the city, everything is a quick walk. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the views from the top floor terrace give you a bird's eye view of the city. The staff is what makes this place truly stand out. We had train reservations to Parma. However, we learned the trains and cabs were striking. All of the car services were fully booked. The concierge, Gulianna called her personal friend and arranged for them to drive us. She saved our vacation.

Yelp
The location is really convenient: the hotel is inside the traffic-limited area but close to the free access zone and parking lots (not bad, if you are with a car). It's also close to one of the most elegant and fancy areas of Bologna (Galleria Cavour) and just 5 mins walking from Piazza Maggiore. The hotel in itself it's a real boutique hotel, that kind of effortlessly chic design for the lobby and the common areas, the Italian classic for the rooms. The rooftop is worth the staying. You have the most amazing view over the typical red roofs and clock towers of Bologna, while enjoying a Jacuzzi or a glass of wine in the lounge corner. Very sofisticate, but without trying too hard, if you know what i mean... As for the breakfast, there is quite a choice of handmade cakes, croissants, fresh fruit. The continental breakfast is also available (sausages, eggs, ham, salami, vegetables, etc.), but I didn't try it, since I am Italian and a purist! The staff is super kind and helpful. Elena, the girl at the reception, gave me the coolest advice, spacing from how to enjoy my staying in Bologna to where I could find the best flower shop in town! I will definitely choose it again, next time I am in Bologna.
