Hotel Trebjesa

Hotel Trebjesa is located on Trebjesa Hill, surrounded by pine forest and walking trails - offering a peaceful and scenic stay with great views over Nikšić. Wonderful location, great food, friendly and attentive staff , but needs some repairs. Water leakage seen on walls, mini bar not working….

Superb hotel in a beautiful location perched above the city of Niksic. On arrival the car park was full. Loads of families with their children playing in the small playground. People having drinks and food in the restaurant. When I came down for an early morning stroll the car park was empty. The very friendly receptionist told me they only had 8 rooms! Our room only had a skylight but it was comfortable. The hotel has rooms on 1st and 2nd floors but no lift. The evening meal we had was just superb and the waiter was brilliant. All the staff were friendly. Just fantastic.

Beautifully located on the top of a hill overlooking the town and surrounding valley amongst the whisper quiet forest. Rooms are well appointed but starting to age. Good size and comfortable bed, however the air con is old and centrally controlled so heating for all rooms before the switch to cooling over summer. Our room was a little stuffy as we were on the shoulder of seasonal changeover. |The staff were terrific and very helpful. On site well appointed bar and restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating. In site parking. A lovely stay.

I visited the restaurant and ordered a risotto, which was unfortunately very disappointing. Despite this, we were still charged for it. Given this experience, we won't be returning. Update: I discreetly asked the staff to remove the risotto without disturbing the rest of the table. However, they ignored my request and discussed the matter with my wife and mother-in-law instead. This lack of respect is unacceptable. We will definitely not be coming back.

Although I travel a lot, I have never met so many friendly people, employees, as in Hotel Trebjesa. You feel really welcome. The food is excellent, the ambiance is beautiful, above the city. A wonderful waiter, unfortunately we didn't ask his name, he also told us many interesting things about the place and the country of Montenegro. Really unforgettable, we will definitely come back. The location is top for bikers. I highly recommend it.

We stayed one night while transiting through Montenegro. The staff were super friendly and so welcoming. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. ||The rooms were a little small but that was bearable for one evening. I think it would have been a problem if staying any longer. The breakfast was good. A wide choice. ||Need a car to get there. It is not easily accessible but does have great views across the city of Niksic. ||Would stay again if in the area.

Niksic isn’t the place you would visit as a classical tourist destination. We arrived here with no expectation and spent wonderful three days. The city is little people are friendly the bars are great, you get in contact with locals very quickly and they very helpful and curious. At the hotel they made every wish come true. The even organized us a babysitter so we could have a bike ride. ||Since the hotel is located above the city you feel like at a Eagles nest and enjoy the morning coffee in the pine wood. The restaurant is very good! ||||If you are a tennis player and looking for some lessons, ask for Yvan at the tennis club, he’s an exceptional tennis trainer.
