Hotel Tres Reyes San Sebastián was an excellent choice! We stayed for one night and were absolutely delighted. This is probably the best pet-friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The design is outstanding - stylish, thoughtful, and high-quality throughout. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a wonderful bed and great soundproofing. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was a lovely extra touch (very rare thing for Spain), and the secure indoor parking made our stay even easier. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pet welcome kit (bowl, blanket, treats) was amazing (compensated the charge of 30€ for the accommodation with a pet). The hotel is not in the city center but in a quiet, prestigious area, making for a very peaceful night. Highly recommended for design lovers, comfort seekers, and anyone traveling with a pet!

Our first stay here and we absolutely loved it! The hotel staff were amazing—friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are modern, very clean, and had everything we needed. I felt instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived. We drove here and found off-street parking easily around the hotel. The area feels safe, quiet, and is a peaceful contrast to the busier downtown. Plus, public transport is super convenient with a bus stop just around the corner. Highly recommend this hotel—we’ll definitely be back!

Room was lovely with great views, reception staff very helpful BUT only area dogs were allowed was on the terrace which given the downpour of rain wasn't an option and when I asked the restaurant if there was anything vegan the woman laughed and said no! Given that the previous 2 hotels I stayed in were 2 and 3 star and they managed to do pasta and vegetables for me I wasn't impressed!

stayed there for a night when visiting san sebastian. it is a comfortable stay and it seemed to be situated in a rather upclass neighborhood. also had the chance to catch the athletic bilbao team who were staying there during their derby game. recommended.

Great hotel. Room was clean and very well-appointed. Staff was great - very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the buffet had everything. Only issue is the location. It's at the top of a very big hill, not near town, and there's really nothing near it. It's in the middle of a residential area. There is a bus route that runs right near the hotel that takes you into town, so that I'd convenient. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

A fantastic stay in the Tres Reyes hotel ! Just checked out of the hotel this morning (booking done with my boyfriend name) and it was 3 perfect days. The hotel is clean, nice, has everything that you need, and room and bathroom are spacious enough to be comfortable. Didn't try the gym but went to the swimming pool which is quite nice for a little break (just don't expect to be able to swim for sport). The environment is very calm which is welcome after the buzzing life of San Sebastian. It is not located in the city center, however there are regular buses to go to the city which make the trip quite easy and not very long (take bus number 28 or 17, both will bring you to the city center at slightly different places), the trip is around 20/25 min. Good to know : last bus departs at 23h15 from city center to the hotel and uber is not working here, so do not miss it or go find a taxi :) A word about the service here which is fantastic, everybody welcome you with a smile and make everything they can to make your stay the best, there are never any problem with what you can ask and they are very open to facilitate everything. Even when we arrived later than planned an evening and that the restaurant was already empty, they still welcomed us with a smile and served us food. This make the stay on another level :) About food : the breakfast is really good with quality products, fresh orange juice, good coffee, freshly baked pancakes, eggs, bacon and so on, tasty fresh fruits.. you can also find gluten free and lactose free products. Also tried the restaurant one evening and that was delicious ! Finished everything including the bread which was also good. Wine was reasonnably priced and good too. Thank you for the nice stay, we will be back ! Good points : - Rooms clean and big - Clean - The service - Calm environment - Food - Well connected to bus lines

Like another review I just read here ,I had a similar experience. I inadvertently booked two hotel for the same night . I arrived a day early at Tre Reyes and asked could they take us that night instead. No, they were fully booked they said . I wanted to know if I could change or cancel the following nights reservation, they said no and sent an e mail to booking.com with one word “Declined” . How very rude. As they were fully booked they could have suggested that if my room for the following night was taken by someone else they could then refund me , but no, it was a stony faced refusal by a woman who would barely engage with me . Customer service has not been taught to staff at this hotel. She didn’t even offer to ring another hotel for us. I’m so sorry I didn’t get her bane because she was so rude to me. Like another gentleman whose review I just read, make sure if you book this hotel that you don’t need to cancel. Also it said when we booked it that there was a pool and as we did stay the following night we went to check it out to be told that it’s now closed until May. No apologies . They say an atmosphere starts at the top. Whoever is in charge here needs to look at their customer service training.

The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable—felt just like home. Beds were super comfy and the hotel is well-maintained. For the price, it’s a great deal in this area. The bathroom has a sliding wooden door on one side, which can be see-through if not closed properly. Not ideal if you're sharing with friends, but fine for couples or solo travellers. The bidet was a nice touch, though water pressure was low. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. It’s around €20—slightly expensive but worth it for the options and location. Big downside: the Wi-Fi is very weak and unstable, especially during the day. I got access to a private network once, but it stopped working after some time. Staff are friendly and helpful, and reception is open 24/7. There’s a nice outdoor area with greenery where you can sit, eat, or relax.
