Travelled as a family with two kids and stayed at Hotel Tri-Sea on 27th September 2025, booking the Executive Four Bed AC (Sea Facing) room (Room No. 305). Since it was the holiday season, the reception and lobby area were a bit crowded, but the check-in process was seamless and quick. The hotel offers covered car parking, though the space is limited and the entry to the parking area is quite narrow as it’s located on the main road. The main reasons we chose this room type in the hotel were well met — 1. The Executive 4-bed room was spacious, ideal for a family. 2. There was a separate area to keep luggage, which helped keep the room organized. 3. The sea-facing view was fantastic, directly overlooking the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. The hotel terrace provides an excellent view of the sunrise, one of the highlights of our stay. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the seashore, ferry terminal, and most major tourist spots. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby; although the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, Shree Rajasthani Punjabi Dhaba is conveniently adjacent. Overall, a budget-friendly and well-located hotel for families visiting Kanyakumari, especially those looking for sea-facing rooms with great views.

Nice location, luckily got the fifth floor with sea facing. Room was clean and good service by staff. Wi-Fi was available but could not connect. Electricity would go for few minutes in evening but generator was quick to serve so no inconvenienced. Washroom had a dispenser but no liquid soap. Other overall s good experience as view of Vivekananda Rock and Saint Thiruvalluvar clear. Temple at way walking distance and so were the eateries.

Good location, terrible terrible rooms. Name the issue and the room had it - smelly fungus-laden pillows, cockroaches, stained sheets, sand on the bed, worn-out sofas, cupboards without doors, TVs that didn't work. The bathrooms however were spacious, but we got warm water only in the mornings. Basically, don't go by the good Google reviews at all. I made a booking for 4 rooms and all of us were upset with our experience and felt cheated by the Google reviews. The staff were accomodating to a few requests we had like early check-in and travel, but it also came with a hefty cost which we felt was not worth it. Overall, I would not recommend. Skip this one.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the room with a breathtaking view of the sea. The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated that made it easy to enjoy the view at any time. The bed was very comfortable, and all the amenities were top-notch. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Housekeeping was thorough and prompt, and the overall service made our stay even more pleasant. The location is perfect – just steps from the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. It’s ideal for a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend booking a sea-facing room here – it adds a whole new level of charm to the experience. Can’t wait to return!

Right from the moment we walked in, the hotel manager, Mr Ram Gopal, was rude and quite arrogant. We had a bad welcoming! Also, we were booked for an executive room with sea facing view but they were giving us a double room that overlooked construction work. We had to complain before they gave us what we booked for. Service was also not great, especially when calling reception, who never ended up actioning our requests. Other staff were friendly, hence the 1 star!

Issues faced in 2 double bedded Executive Sea View rooms (402 & 403) booked through Agoda: 1. Hot water is available only from 6am to 10am, instead of 24x7. This is not mentioned in Agoda.com. Told this to the property manager, and he simply accepted the fact that they have a solar heater. 2. No electric kettles in either of the rooms initially. Requested for that separately and got that later. 3. No chairs were provided in one of the rooms. Requested several times for that, and got a couple of plastic chairs in pathetic condition. This doesn't match the standards of a deluxe room. 4. Litterbin lid was broken, this is completely unhygienic. 5. Cupboard doors were broken and cannot be closed. 6. White stain on the blanket. This is very unhygienic and pathetic, and can spread diseases. Got this one replaced at 12 am after several rounds of quarrels with the hotel staff. 7. Stains on bed sheet and pillows. Also dust, sand and glitter were present. Again got this one replaced after several quarrels with their staff at night 12 am. 8. Water clogging in the basin of both the rooms. 9. No liquid handwash was provided in a Deluxe room! This is such a basic necessity. 10. Air conditioning didn't work properly, and was getting switched on and off suddenly in both the rooms. The AC remote was not working in both the rooms. The ACs made a strange noise. Strange powdery and granular substance was coming out of the AC. 11. To my astonishment, I found a sanitary napkin present in one of the drawers in the bedside table. This is completely unhygienic, can spread disease and hampers privacy of other travellers. 12. Bedsheet in one room was of improper size. 13. Tiny insects, flies and mosquitoes were present in both the bathrooms. The bathroom was very untidy and improper paints and flooring. 14. Lizard was present in the room. 15. Wifi was not working most of the time. Speed was very slow and was getting disconnected frequently. 16. Property staff were extremely non-cooperative. I had to check-in early at 5 am on 23rd Oct, and for that I had to pay Rs 1050.00 extra just for a single double bed room, NOT Deluxe room. 17. Due to the untidy, pathetic and unhygienic room condition, I got skin rashes and itching just after leaving the hotel. To sum up, never book this hotel. There are lot of other newly constructed hotels near to this hotel.

The hotel is at good location...sun rise and sun set can be viewed from terrace. But rooms are little bit cozzy...which is not my preference. Service of hotel was very good. Good for one night to enjoy beach view. All rooms door are open to 360 degree view of Ocean
