Hotel Tropical Ibiza

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Tropical in San Antonio, Ibiza at the end of September. From the warm welcome by Javier at check-in to the good meals and professional service from Agus, Paqui, Carmen, and Milagros - thank you once again! Director Alejandro was very helpful with my requests before arrival — his communication was immediate, professional, and always positive! The housekeeping team always greeted guests nicely in the corridors and kept everything spotless. The pool bar serves amazing burgers, pizzas, and Spanish dishes — I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel!

Rooms were very very clean. Fresh smelling and Aircon worked. Pleasantly surprised as I really wasn't expecting much. Location is great thought it would be noisier as it's at the top of the west end but other than people coming home at different times did not here anything - maybe pack some ear plugs if your easily disturbed. Breakfast had good choices too. Pool was nice. Pool food was really good and service was fast.

We stayed at the Tropical whilst visiting my daughter. The hotel is clean and very welcoming. The breakfast choice was very good. Ideally located for our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. We absolutely adored Juan the security guard. A lovely guy with great sense of humour. Would definitely stay here again and excellent value for money.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights as a party of 5. We had three rooms. We booked through love holidays and stayed bed and breakfast. The hotel is in an amazing location. You can walk to the marina and strip within minutes and it’s close to Ibiza rocks and some of the bigger clubs on the main front. |The rooms are basic but comfortable, the whole hotel is very clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly and work hard. The bed was comfortable. The air con worked well. The view from the room wasn’t great but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway! |There is a TV, tea and making facilities, fridge, safe and hairdryer. The bathrooms have been renovated and are modern and clean. They provide a few, small towels. You can hire beach towels for 10 euros.|The breakfast was ok. Some random things, such as chicken nuggets, but the pastries, fruit and breads were lovely. |We didn’t have any other meals here.|The pool is over the road but is good. Large and clean with enough sun beds for everyone. There is a pool bar and snack bar there, with toilets and shower. |There is a luggage room for use after check out and an area where you can sit. |We would return to this hotel, due to the cleanliness and location.

My partner and I have stayed at Hotel Tropical twice now for short 2-night stays in Ibiza, and honestly, I don’t think we’d choose anywhere else. The hotel itself is fairly basic, but the rooms are modern, super clean, and excellent value for money – exactly what you need for a comfortable place to lay your head after partying. The pool area is large with plenty of loungers, the staff are friendly, and they even provide a shower room you can use if you have a late departure, which is a great touch. Overall, it’s a reliable, great-value option in Ibiza, and I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend and was pleasantly surprised for a 3 star. Normally stay in 4 or 5 star resorts but with us having a party holiday in San Antonio we opted for a budget option. Hotel is in a great location, very clean, beds were made every day. Food was OK nothing special. Only thing i would have liked is a balcony, our room didnt have one and the windows overlooked a building site. Some of the rooms have much better views and balcony options but as we didnt spend enough time in the room it was ok for the time we were there. Would definitely come back.

Hotel staff is wonderful 5/5! The room is very basic and I regret we did not pay extra for a room with balcony. We were unable to dry our towels and bathing suit. On top the room was very humid due to no vebtilation and warm humid weather. Outside parking is easy to find but you cannot pay for 1 day only for 2h. Free parking from 21h-9h. The food was basic but correct for what we paid. Via booking.com €260/ night for a triple room last week August.
