Hotel Tumski

Friendly service, staff helpful, available 24/7. Standard basic hotel room, in need of a modernization but the location is ideal. Near lots of sights and water everywhere. Was quiet in my room. Breakfast buffet was quite nice with a large choice of foods.

We spent two nights at Hotel Tumski and had a very good experience like its location, service, and breakfast. Staff is very nice and helpful. Most of the sites are very close to the hotel and there is an Indian restaurant (The India Island) just near the hotel only 2 mins walk and you can taste very good Indian food.

Im satisfied. Price performance is very very good. Only car parking is not cheap 19 eu/day

Location, rooms, cleanliness was very good. Breakfast on fixed river boat was amazing. Breakfast was also lovely. We loved this hotel.

Our stay was horrible. I hope this review will help someone to avoid this “hotel”. The only good thing about this hotel is location. That’s it. When we arrived we were told that parking is full and we have to park in city parking that is 10 min walk from hotel. That parking costed us 24€ just to leave car overnight. The room that we got was terrible. First of all no conditioner. I think it’s a must for hotel to inform customers with huge letters that they do not have conditioners. It was just a little fan on the table that was no help when temperature outside reached 30. There were no power sockets near beds. Socket under the table was broken and dangerously hanging. Heater in the bathroom was not working. I was also rusty and ruined my t-shirt with stains that do not wash out now. Bathroom doorlock was also broken. Shower was dirty. They only gave 1 sample of shower gel per person so you have to decide if you want to have shower in the evening or in the morning. Because you do not get shower gel to shower twice. Walls were really dirty. Some parts of curtains were not hanging. Overall horrible experience, this hotel is not worth even 1 star. I would never come back even if I would be paid to do so.

Nice view and good location. Nice staff and good prices. It was quite hot in the room, so we had to leave the window open. Because of that it was noisy (Especially the tram was very loud) It could be cleaner in general. But the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and great.

Great location and great service! Special mention to Victoria's awesome service. One step beyond! She handed my keys as soon as she saw me at reception. Offered me an umbrella when I asked where to buy one. Ran after me because I left my luggage behind, and always with a smile. I'd definitely stay again at Great Polonia Tumski. Didn't love the breakfast though

Loved everything about this hotel from the beautiful and unique location on the river, to the breakfast which was served on a boat! And was also incredibly delicious and diverse. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were available for a very late check in and happy to assist and advise. Would definitely return.

Within 8 hours of my stay here all of my money was STOLEN from my wallet. I honestly believe it was somebody from the staff because they wouldn't show me the security footage and when I got stronger about it they wanted to throw me out. And of course the police didn't care about some tourist's stolen money either. I had the feeling that this place was corrupt.
