This hotel is in a great location. The shortest walk to the beach without being right on the busy main road, and a short walk in the opposite direction to be right in the town centre. Every interaction with the staff was great. Super friendly and very accommodating/helpful. Price wise, I do not feel this hotel was particularly cheap or expensive comparative to other options in similar categories. However, I do feel the friendly and personable vibe of the place puts it apart from other options in the area. Decor throughout the hotel/room is incredible. It has points of interest everywhere and a really cool design. Quirky and stylish. Good sound dampening too. Breakfasts were great, service was great, and the option to have it delivered to your room was nice. They even held on to our luggage for a considerable time after checkout. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and I’d definitely stay here again if returning to the area.

We’ve made repeat visits to this charming boutique a short walk from Brighton sea front. Super friendly team here in all roles. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast is an excellent start to the day. The bar is very nice with comfy seating , wide choice of drinks and even a few games to play . Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good location, great rooms and friendly staff.

The good thing was comfortable beds, sheets, towels. |Less good. Not very welcoming. Lots of rules about not pinching things. If you can afford 500 for two nights not sure you would want to pinch a wooden fish ornament etc. or the watered down toiletries. Pretty sure I could feel from the tiny bottles that they had been wiped over and re used/re filled. This would be ok if it was for environmental reasons and they used bigger bottles and admitted they are not changed between guests. (As in premier inn, even) |not the best view.. lots of other squares to choose that don’t have the I360 at the end. Very noisy seagulls if that bothers you though best avoid anywhere in Brighton. The smoker next door meant the smell permeated into our room. No breakfast included in the very inflated price. There are many squares and many hotels. This one is just a big big for its boots.

Such a beautiful quirky hotel with its individual designed rooms right close to the beach. We stayed in the room (Danube) Breakfast and room service was amazing too! Front of the hotel could do with some renovation, that’s about it really.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for the May bank holiday. We have stayed in Brighton many times and believe we have now found our go to hotel. Perfectly located in walking distance to everything you could possibly want. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was lovely and ample big enough. Also no noise from outside which is a bonus. The breakfast was lovely and catered for every taste. The hotel was so tastefully decorated it was lovely to look at all the little touches and ornaments etc. we will definitely be back here. Thank you to all the staff at Una for making our weekend even more relaxing.

The place is so unique and quirky as a physical hotel. The location is pretty perfect! Right by the beach and right by the city centre and also right by a multi storey car park. But the real positive about this hotel is the staff that go above and beyond, the food and the cocktails. All of it! Care and attention with every inch of this hotel. Totally recommend! Stayed with my daughter and I just want to go back. Thank you Una xxx

Great place to stay in Brighton in Regency Square. The public rooms and bedrooms are stylish but with comfort in mind. We stayed in Jubba on the 2nd floor overlooking the square and this is a really lovely room with comfortable bed, a sliding divider to seperate the lounge area with TV and sofa from the bedroom. The walk in shower is perfect and there is also a bath, L'Occitane products, slippers, bathrobes and fluffy towels complete what is basically a well thought out place to stay.

Yelp
I found myself having to visit Brighton again and missed out on a new hotel i wanted to try so thought I would give Hotel Una another go. And what wise decision that was. On arrival I immediately gelt very welcome. I was aloud to look at three rooms which was no irritation to them. I felt very relaxed. I chose the Jabba sweet which I wasn't taken with initially but by the next morning i was very comfortable. The room is very tight in the bedroom area but not really a problem. Tips. The beds are not all Kings. The bed in Eden was much larger to the bed in Jabba which is definitely a queen by Global standards.

Yelp
Una is an ultra-modern yet boutique style hotel that caters for those looking for a glamorous change to your average seaside offering. All of the rooms offer something different including freestanding baths, original artwork and avant-garde furniture that work so well with the backdrop of the Regency architecture of the building. I'm an especially big fan of the colourful abstract pieces in here by artists Johanna Berger and Charlotte Davies. There are a range of room sizes with corresponding price tags. I stayed in a smaller double room but even though it was small, the attention to detail and service more than makes up for it (and who spends much time in their rooms in Brighton anyway?). When you have an art deco brass 4 poster bed, who needs space to walk around? Even smaller touches like Molton Brown bathroom products, a DVD player and very filling breakfast made this a hit for us and well worth the £115 a night price tag.

Yelp
In terms of hotels, I'm very tough to please. I've worked in some of the top hotels in the world. As far as hotels go, in Brighton, this one is the best ive stayed in. They would have a long way to go to compete with boutique hotels in London but this is Brighton and here they reign supreme. What makes a good hotel is attention to detail. The rooms feel like apartments which is nice although they are lacking minibars which is a shame, just having the option would be nice considering they don't do room service during the day or in the evening. Breakfast is consistently good and the front desk staff are always lovely. In fact I have yet to meet one of the staff members who is not instantly likeable. This is very impressive because, again, I'm very critical. You'll enjoy your stay here. It's quirky, filled with random furniture , over the top art and charming staff.

Yelp
My Mum came to visit me in Brighton recently, leaving me with the responsibility to book her in to a nice hotel as a break from the monotony of Exeter's architecture. I booked Hotel Una on the back of a friends recommendation, and what an astute recommendation it turned out to be. Complete with bar, beautiful decor and elaborate fittings, this has to be one of Brighton's nicest hotels. Una also happens to be one of the most expensive hotels, but check the website because I was able to find a 50% discount for all rooms, something I completely took advantage of.

Yelp
This lovely 4 star hotel was a real find. There's lots of similar hotels I'm Brighton all based around an upmarket bed and breakfast but hotel Una is worth a stay. It's in an ideal location for the seafront and the town. Set in an old townhouse all the rooms are individually themed and names after rivers. All have different features which are well explained on their website. Our room was lovely the bed was fantastic it was very quiet and had a fab deep bath in the bedroom. The breakfast was generous and a good choice and the bar had a fantastic cocktail menu. The service us individual and attentive do much nicer than a standard chain hotel. Pricier than some hotels but worth it,

Yelp
Ummm, I'm confused at all the raving reviews. This hotel is centrally located right across from the main attractions such as the BA 360, up the street from the Pier, etc. However, this hotel is need of some serious updates. First, the elevator!! What the hell? I thought I was going to die everytime I got in and out of it. It's literally like 200 years old. Second, we had some King suite with couch that was awful! The weirdest looking room I have ever seen in my life, and I have traveled the globe. The room had the tackiest decor from like the 1970s, with a bizarre shower behind glass literally 2 ft from the bed! Like they said, oh crap we forgot to put a shower into the bathroom so we'll just plonk it in the bedroom. Carpets and floor were literally soaked after a shower. When I say it was right next to the bed, I mean the glass to the shower was like as close as a nightstand would be. The room just looked like something out of a porn movie, with black leather couches and some weird statue of a man in a weird glass oval thing in the middle of the wall. I have never seen anything like it. Whoever is their interior designer or architect needs to be fired. Giving this place two stars because the breakfast was decent and the staff was nice, but for the love of G*d, please update your hotel. It's not the 70s anymore.

Yelp
I love this place. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a B&B. The decor really stands out. Very cozy lounge and bar. We stayed in the Aragon. All the rooms have different names instead of room numbers. Our room had a jacuzzi, sauna, 2 bathrooms (one with shower) and huge comfortable bed. The rug and one of the pillows in the room was made of recycled neck ties. I have to get one of of those! SOme days we had breakfast in bed others we had in the dining area. The salmon benedict was may favorite but the full on English was close. They had a range of different fruit, juice, bread and cereal, Greek yogurt as well. I'd have to really try hard to find something to complain about. Everything was perfect.

Yelp
Stayed here for several days while vacationing in the UK with my daughter. The hotel gets major points for decor and staff friendliness. It looked great, the rooms were well thought out (although maybe a bit too tuned to millenial sensibilities...a shelf or two in the bathroom would be nice), the breakfast was very tasty, and everyone was very friendly. However, the highlight of the visit was their rock star bartender - the Merlin of Scotch. Like any good wizard, he had shelves of arcane concoctions which he'd formulated himself, and which added the magic to his drinks. And there was no shortage of theatrics while working his spells. It's a good thing I live six thousand miles away...these cocktails are too damn good! A great experience I plan to repeat in the future.
