We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was impeccable—everything from the lobby to the rooms was spotless and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job ensuring the space was fresh and tidy every day.||The location was another highlight. It was conveniently situated near major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. Despite being centrally located, the hotel was quiet and provided a peaceful atmosphere for a good night’s sleep.||I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean and conveniently located place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning.|| ||

Centrally located, clean and friendly staff! Slippers and toiletries were a nice touch. We appreciated the quick response to our messages through the booking app. Beds were comfortable and accommodated our little family.

Hotel is located in center of Bologna. You can easily walk to the center. Rooms are nice and clean. Service and check in/out is very nice and polite. Breakfast is ok. One thing is not that good, you hear everything in your room. ( noise from other rooms, water flushing from other rooms etc .. ) Tips to improve; • smell of humidity in breakfast room ( basement ) • Bacon at breakfast • Hearing in room

I recently stayed at hotel university, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of many key attractions, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. I would highly recommend it not only for its excellent amenities and prime location but especially for the dedicated and caring staff who make the experience truly exceptional.

We stayed at Hotel University for four nights and just couldn't have picked a better place for our trip to Bologna. The hotel's location is great - perfectly situated between the university quarter and the historic center. Everything in Bologna seemed to be a mere 10 minute walk maximum from it. Despite sharing a street with some busy restaurants and bar, the rooms were very quiet. The air conditioning was also great, especially with how hot Bologna is in the summer. The rooms were not the most luxurious but they were very clean and comfortable. The hotel's front desk concierge were just a delight to stay with. They were so warm and helpful with anything we needed. They really went above any beyond - from recommending restaurants, arranging transport for a day trip, and always greeting us with a smile. Just great, honest, and pleasant people. ||Bologna in general is a great city, seemingly untouched by the mass tourism you find in other parts of Italy, and Hotel University made our visit that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good mid range hotel in a good location.

Excellent choice!!! Clean rooms and renovated bathrooms!!! Right in the center of Bologna, a few meters from all the sights!!! The staff was helpful and willing to guide us through all our steps. The hotel parking was just what we needed, as we were in the middle of our roadtrip. The approach by car to the hotel is outside the ZTL zone. Do not hesitate to ask the staff for additional information

For me what has stayed in my memory is the friendly staff. Everyone and I mean it, EVERYONE, in every shift of the reception and the breakfast was extremely polite and helpful. However, I didn't like the rooms so much. Although they were clean, they were old enough and the renovation didn't give the impression of comfort. Also, the location was near the center, but the noise from the bars nearby was terrible even after midnight. We also suffered from noise from upstairs like someone was moving furniture for many hours. We couldn't open the window in the bathroom because exactly outside there was a pipe from a restaurant with steam and smoke from their cooking smelling bad all the time.The breakfast had too many sweet options and not salty dishes at all. In general, I felt that 150 euros per night plus the local taxes for a room for 3 people was too much in February for this experience.

This hotel is ideal as it's centrally located, provides a nice breakfast and the rooms are good. The staff understand and provide excellent customer service. I have to add more words to reach the minimum amount to constitute a review on this website.

This is a basic hotel but the location is pretty good. It's a 15 minute walk from the train station and about 5 minutes the other way to the two towers. Although it advertises that it's a three star hotel it's a bit of faded glory. We had a triple room which was crammed, the shower was rustic, and the water in the bathroom smelled. We were on the third floor and the wifi was incredibly slow and couldn't send photos let alone watch anything on Netflix to wind down at the end of the evening. On the weekend it was pretty noisy outside too. The breakfast is ok and the staff were friendly. Our stay was fine but not great.
