Hôtel Urban Bivouac

The accommodation was clear, nicely decorated and well-designed. The breakfasts were excellent in the variety of foods and coffees available. But what most impressed were the staff who looked after the guests: they were all quite superb: they were all spontaneously welcoming and helpful throughout the 4 nights I stayed there. Excellent value for excellent service!

I wish I could give them 7 stars - just for the super-courteous staff. We visited Paris for the French Open (30th May - 2nd June) and stayed for a short while. We also walked around the city. A lot. And at the end of the day we knew we will have a neat and clean room and bed to rest and sleep to start the next day fully energized. |Now for the location: Metro 14 that runs through the heart of the city is approximately 50-100 steps away. The China town is in the neighborhood. An artisanal boulangerie a little walk away. In other words, a perfect location!|The rooms are compact and well designed. Our room faced the side road but we slept well. Nights are not noisy. Other amenities: silent air conditioner and lifts (In Paris this is a blessing. We travel light but even then…). |And no, we didn’t need to break the bank. The price is extremely reasonable. We switched from another hotel chain and saved almost €150. |I think I will stay here for all my Paris visits in the future.

Cute design. Very clean, which is important for us. I didn't expect it to be so small though. The toilet is separate from the shower and the sink is in the room, next to the bed. It was weird at first, but we got used to it, so we weren't bothered. I asked for a special note for my partner's birthday and they were nice, they put a heart made of perals and a happy birthday note on the bed. I also asked for a balcony and we had a large, pretty one. The location is great. Line 14. 1 minute walk to the station. Very convenient. They have plenty of bakeries and brassieries around and Chinatown is very close with many amazing restaurants. So all in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Rooms quite tight in size but beds comfortable. Pillows good. Internet consistent. Better than average breakfast. Didn’t care for the provided toiletries.

Pros: Comfy bed, good pillows - a harder and a softer for comfort. Good lighting, clean sink and shower, and in general everything. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, not a wide range , and the sausages/bacon was always empty when we got down, but aside the variety, it is good. After checkout, keeping the luggage is for free - this helped us a lot. Cons: No noise canceling walls or anything. Very small bathroom. Missing sausages at breakfast. In general, we enjoyed our stay very much at Urban Bivouac, and would recommend for anyone in search of a cosy hotel with reasonable price.

Services working well, excellent breakfast and nice looking rooms, with new furniture and attention to details. Placed in the heart of XIIIe arrondissment, in 2 min walk you 'll take the metro and in less than 30 you can reach Orly airport (only 10min to be downtown). Standard rooms more than good for a long weekend, but maybe to have comfort better to opt for superior (in Paris hard to find a std room larger than 12sm...)

Stayed here for one night for my layover in Paris. Easy to access from the Orly airport (just a few minutes by metro), the proximity to the metro station Olympiades allows for easy travel around the city. The room was rather small but perfect for a single traveler. I enjoyed the breakfast, the staff had been very friendly and welcoming too. There are plenty of cafes and shops nearby, overall a great option for a shorter stay.

The hotel is at a good location, right next to the metro! The great, helpful and fantastic staff!! Rooms are small as normally in Paris but comfortable and very clean!! Even the Family room is good with one child! Had a great time during our stay!

Just what we needed for our stay in Paris. This hotel really suits couples or any lone travellers. The bedroom was tiny but had everything we needed in a super compact way. The room felt so modern and clean that you would forget that the room was so small. It even had Bluetooth speakers over the bed which you could connect your phone to and play your own music which was a really nice little touch which we enjoyed so much. The room had a really urban vibe which was seen through out the hotel which is really cool and gives it great character. The staff were always amazingly helpful and friendly and the location was excellent. Would recommend here for any couples planning a trip to Paris as it is absolutely perfect.
