Arrived early evening and checked in was quick and simple. The room was sea view, near the beach, which was nice. It was spacious and furnished typically Balinese style with lots of wood. The large well kept garden kept the 2 sides of bungalows apart. Food from the hotel was good but I like to explore different local eateries. The hotel was on the main street but on the quieter end. Friendly staffs throughout the whole hotel made my stay pleasurable. The bungalow has solar panels as its main source, so don't expect brightly lit rooms and low power outputs from the mains. Hotel is eco conscious so don't think they spray plants against mosquitoes, hence I did suffered with bites. The onsite diving centre was well ran and all the guys took cared of everything so guests can solely concentrate on enjoying the divings. My guide, Wayan, had great knowledge in finding obscure creatures on our muck dives. I will return to this hotel, but with mosquito sprays.

We stopped here for Lunch in Garam Cafe which is part of the hotel. We viewed the rooms, very nice, clean and well appointed however we didn't stay. Lunch was served at the beach front lawned area. For starters, we shared Gado Gado, followed by 2 mains: (1) Olio Aglio with King Prawns, the spaghetti aldente and the prawns were cooked beautifully (1) Sumatran Beef Curry, again beautifully cooked, not chewy and moist. For dessert we had Banana Nuggets and Lemon Crepes, both sadly a bit of a let down. The price was reasonable, that is until they added govt tax (standard 11%) and the service charge (higher than anywhere else we have been at 11%) and then to pay by card add another 3% of the total bill (we paid on visa- savings debit, NOT our Credit option, and got slugged 3%, there should have been no card surcharge for this). A total added combined charge of 25% (approx 50k). So to wrap it up, overall "just....ok". We wont be rushing back anytime soon.

Came for breakfast earlier in week then decided to come and stay overnight as the hotel grounds looked gorgeous. Over night stay was lovely. Rooms basic but lovely. All food we had was great here. ||Ani the waitress was amazing, great customer service and welcoming. She is a great asset to your business. ||We will be back ❤️

Amed is a delightful laid back place, very much as I imagine Bali was in the past, with great snorkelling and diving to hand . Sunset on the beach is a real delight. The hotel exactly fits that 'vibe' - it is not luxury and is to be honest slightly tired. But the gardens, the beach front location, the pool and especially the staff make it a delightful place to stay. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with a very decent shower room all clustered around the garden. The restaurant / cafe does good local food, which you can also order to the Pool Bar. Overall much to recommend.

Had a really relaxing stay at Hotel Uyah Amed! The place has a peaceful seaside vibe, clean spacious rooms, and a nice saltwater pool. The staff were kind and helpful, and it’s just a short walk to great snorkeling spots.

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is perfectly settled on the beach. Drinks and food from resto was nice. Staff very very friendly and serviceminded all over. Pool nice. ||Maybe to few sunbeds? 6 beds for 11 rooms. But space also limited. ||Live music 2 of 4 nights, nice but 3 hour sets may be 1 hour to long, they lost their audience underways. ||Rooms could be cleaner, I droppes something and looked under the beds…. Lots of dust.||But all in all , budget friendly and a good experience.

Very nice hotel! I stayed in 5 different hotels while in Bali and this one was my favorite. Very close to the beach and clean rooms. AC wasn't the best but it did work. Restaurant had delicious food and great service.
